Haggai 2

In the seventh month, in the one and twentieth day of the month, came the word of the LORD by the prophet Haggai, saying,

В седмия месец, на двадесет и първия ден от месеца, ГОСПОДНОТО слово беше чрез пророк Агей и каза:

Speak now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and to the residue of the people, saying,

Говори сега на управителя на Юда Зоровавел, сина на Салатиил, и на първосвещеника Иисус, сина на Йоседек, и на остатъка от народа, и кажи:

Who is left among you that saw this house in her first glory? and how do ye see it now? is it not in your eyes in comparison of it as nothing?

Кой остана между вас, който е видял този дом в първата му слава? А какъв го виждате сега? Не е ли такъв дом като нищо в очите ви?

Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the LORD; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the LORD, and work: for I am with you, saith the LORD of hosts:

Но сега, бъди силен, Зоровавеле, заявява ГОСПОД; и бъди силен, ти първосвещенико, Иисусе, сине на Йоседек; и бъдете силни, цели народе на земята, заявява ГОСПОД, и работете, защото Аз съм с вас, заявява ГОСПОД на Войнствата.

According to the word that I covenanted with you when ye came out of Egypt, so my spirit remaineth among you: fear ye not.

Според словото на завета Ми с вас, когато излязохте от Египет, Духът Ми ще стои между вас; не бойте се!

For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land;

Защото така казва ГОСПОД на Войнствата: Още веднъж, след малко, и Аз ще разтърся небесата и земята, и морето, и сушата.

And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts.

И ще разтърся всичките народи и скъпоценните неща на всичките народи ще дойдат, и Аз ще изпълня този дом със слава, казва ГОСПОД на Войнствата.

The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts.

Мое е среброто и Мое е златото, заявява ГОСПОД на Войнствата.

The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.

Последната слава на този дом ще бъде по-голяма от първата, заявява ГОСПОД на Войнствата, и на това място ще дам мир, казва ГОСПОД на Войнствата.

In the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet, saying,

На двадесет и четвъртия ден от деветия месец, във втората година на Дарий, ГОСПОДНОТО слово беше към пророк Агей и каза:

Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Ask now the priests concerning the law, saying,

Така казва ГОСПОД на Войнствата: Попитай сега свещениците за закона, като кажеш:

If one bear holy flesh in the skirt of his garment, and with his skirt do touch bread, or pottage, or wine, or oil, or any meat, shall it be holy? And the priests answered and said, No.

Ако носи някой осветено месо в полата на дрехата си, и с полата допре хляб или вариво, или вино, или маслинено масло, или каквото и да било ястие, то ще се освети ли? И свещениците отговориха и казаха: Не.

Then said Haggai, If one that is unclean by a dead body touch any of these, shall it be unclean? And the priests answered and said, It shall be unclean.

И Агей каза: Ако някой нечист от мъртво тяло се допре до някое от тези, то ще стане ли нечисто? И свещениците отговориха и казаха: Ще стане нечисто.

Then answered Haggai, and said, So is this people, and so is this nation before me, saith the LORD; and so is every work of their hands; and that which they offer there is unclean.

И Агей отговори и каза: Така е този народ и така е тази нация пред Мен, заявява ГОСПОД. Така е и всяко дело на ръцете им, и каквото принасят там е нечисто.

And now, I pray you, consider from this day and upward, from before a stone was laid upon a stone in the temple of the LORD:

И сега, внимавайте от този ден и нататък, преди да е положен камък върху камък в ГОСПОДНИЯ храм!

Since those days were, when one came to an heap of twenty measures, there were but ten: when one came to the pressfat for to draw out fifty vessels out of the press, there were but twenty.

Преди това, когато някой отидеше при житен куп от двадесет мери, бяха десет; когато отидеше при лина да източи петдесет мери, бяха двадесет.

I smote you with blasting and with mildew and with hail in all the labours of your hands; yet ye turned not to me, saith the LORD.

Поразих ви с главня и мана, и с градушка във всичките дела на ръцете ви, но вие не се обърнахте към Мен, заявява ГОСПОД.

Consider now from this day and upward, from the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, even from the day that the foundation of the LORD'S temple was laid, consider it.

Но сега, внимавайте от този ден и нататък — от двадесет и четвъртия ден на деветия месец, от деня, когато се положи основата на ГОСПОДНИЯ храм — внимавайте!

Is the seed yet in the barn? yea, as yet the vine, and the fig tree, and the pomegranate, and the olive tree, hath not brought forth: from this day will I bless you.

Семето още ли е в житницата? Дори лозата, смокинята, нарът и маслиновото дърво още не са родили. От този ден ще ви благословя.

And again the word of the LORD came unto Haggai in the four and twentieth day of the month, saying,

И ГОСПОДНОТО слово беше втори път към Агей на двадесет и четвъртия ден от месеца и каза:

Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying, I will shake the heavens and the earth;

Говори на управителя на Юда Зоровавел и кажи: Аз ще разтърся небето и земята.

And I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms, and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the heathen; and I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride in them; and the horses and their riders shall come down, every one by the sword of his brother.

Ще преобърна престола на царствата и ще унищожа силата на царствата на народите; и ще преобърна колесниците и ездачите им; и конете и ездачите им ще паднат, всеки от меча на брат си.

In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, will I take thee, O Zerubbabel, my servant, the son of Shealtiel, saith the LORD, and will make thee as a signet: for I have chosen thee, saith the LORD of hosts.

В онзи ден, заявява ГОСПОД на Войнствата, ще те взема, Зоровавеле, сине на Салатиил, служителю Мой, заявява ГОСПОД, и ще те положа като печат, защото теб избрах, заявява ГОСПОД на Войнствата.
