II Chronicles 19

And Jehoshaphat the king of Judah returned to his house in peace to Jerusalem.

А юдовият цар Йосафат се върна с мир у дома си в Ерусалим.

And Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him, and said to king Jehoshaphat, Shouldest thou help the ungodly, and love them that hate the LORD? therefore is wrath upon thee from before the LORD.

Тогава гледачът Ииуй, синът на Ананий, излезе да го посрещне и каза на цар Йосафат: На безбожния ли помагаш и тези, които мразят ГОСПОДА, ли обичаш? Затова върху теб има гняв от ГОСПОДА.

Nevertheless there are good things found in thee, in that thou hast taken away the groves out of the land, and hast prepared thine heart to seek God.

Но в теб се намериха добри неща, защото ти премахна ашерите от земята и насочи сърцето си да търсиш Бога.

And Jehoshaphat dwelt at Jerusalem: and he went out again through the people from Beer–sheba to mount Ephraim, and brought them back unto the LORD God of their fathers.

И Йосафат остана в Ерусалим. И той пак излезе сред народа от Вирсавее до хълмистата земя на Ефрем и ги обърна към ГОСПОДА, Бога на бащите им.

And he set judges in the land throughout all the fenced cities of Judah, city by city,

И той постави съдии в земята, по всичките укрепени градове на Юда, град по град.

And said to the judges, Take heed what ye do: for ye judge not for man, but for the LORD, who is with you in the judgment.

И каза на съдиите: Внимавайте какво правите, защото не съдите за човека, а за ГОСПОДА, и Той е с вас в съдопроизнасянето.

Wherefore now let the fear of the LORD be upon you; take heed and do it: for there is no iniquity with the LORD our God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of gifts.

Затова нека страхът от ГОСПОДА бъде върху вас! Внимавайте в делата си, защото у ГОСПОДА, нашия Бог, няма неправда, нито пристрастие, нито подкупничество.

Moreover in Jerusalem did Jehoshaphat set of the Levites, and of the priests, and of the chief of the fathers of Israel, for the judgment of the LORD, and for controversies, when they returned to Jerusalem.

Йосафат постави и в Ерусалим някои от левитите и свещениците и от главите на израилевите бащини домове, за ГОСПОДНИЯ съд и за съдебните спорове; и те се върнаха в Ерусалим.

And he charged them, saying, Thus shall ye do in the fear of the LORD, faithfully, and with a perfect heart.

А той им поръча и каза: Така да постъпвате със страх от ГОСПОДА, с вярност и с неразделено сърце.

And what cause soever shall come to you of your brethren that dwell in their cities, between blood and blood, between law and commandment, statutes and judgments, ye shall even warn them that they trespass not against the LORD, and so wrath come upon you, and upon your brethren: this do, and ye shall not trespass.

И какъвто и да е съдебен спор да дойде при вас от братята ви, които живеят в градовете си — между кръв и кръв, между закон и заповед, наредби и правила, предупреждавайте ги да не стават виновни пред ГОСПОДА и да не дойде гняв върху вас и върху братята ви. Така постъпвайте, за да не ставате виновни.

And, behold, Amariah the chief priest is over you in all matters of the LORD; and Zebadiah the son of Ishmael, the ruler of the house of Judah, for all the king's matters: also the Levites shall be officers before you. Deal courageously, and the LORD shall be with the good.

И, ето, главният свещеник Амария ще бъде над вас във всяко ГОСПОДНО дело, а първенецът на юдовия дом Зевадия, синът на Исмаил — във всяко царско дело, а левитите ще бъдат пред вас като управители. Бъдете силни и действайте; и ГОСПОД ще бъде с добрия.
