Joshua 14

А това са областите, които израилевите синове наследиха в ханаанската земя, които свещеникът Елеазар и Иисус, синът на Навий, и началниците на бащините домове на племената на израилевите синове им разделиха за наследство,

And these are the countries which the children of Israel inherited in the land of Canaan, which Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel, distributed for inheritance to them.

чрез жребия на наследството им, както ГОСПОД беше заповядал чрез Мойсей за деветте племена и половината племе.

By lot was their inheritance, as the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses, for the nine tribes, and for the half tribe.

Защото Мойсей беше дал наследството на двете племена и половината племе оттатък Йордан; а на левитите не беше дал наследство между тях;

For Moses had given the inheritance of two tribes and an half tribe on the other side Jordan: but unto the Levites he gave none inheritance among them.

защото синовете на Йосиф бяха две племена — Манасия и Ефрем. И на левитите не се даде дял в земята освен градове за живеене с техните землища за добитъка им и за имуществото им.

For the children of Joseph were two tribes, Manasseh and Ephraim: therefore they gave no part unto the Levites in the land, save cities to dwell in, with their suburbs for their cattle and for their substance.

Както ГОСПОД беше заповядал на Мойсей, така направиха израилевите синове и разделиха земята.

As the LORD commanded Moses, so the children of Israel did, and they divided the land.

И синовете на Юда дойдоха при Иисус в Галгал и Халев, синът на кенезеца Ефоний, му каза: Ти знаеш думата, която ГОСПОД говори на Божия човек Мойсей относно мен и теб в Кадис-Варни.

Then the children of Judah came unto Joshua in Gilgal: and Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite said unto him, Thou knowest the thing that the LORD said unto Moses the man of God concerning me and thee in Kadesh–barnea.

Аз бях на четиридесет години, когато ГОСПОДНИЯТ слуга Мойсей ме изпрати от Кадис-Варни, за да огледам земята; и аз му донесох известие, както ми беше на сърцето.

Forty years old was I when Moses the servant of the LORD sent me from Kadesh–barnea to espy out the land; and I brought him word again as it was in mine heart.

А братята ми, които се изкачиха с мен, отслабиха сърцето на народа, но аз напълно последвах ГОСПОДА, своя Бог.

Nevertheless my brethren that went up with me made the heart of the people melt: but I wholly followed the LORD my God.

И Мойсей се закле в онзи ден и каза: Земята, на която е стъпил кракът ти, непременно ще бъде наследство на теб и на синовете ти до века, защото ти напълно последва ГОСПОДА, моя Бог.

And Moses sware on that day, saying, Surely the land whereon thy feet have trodden shall be thine inheritance, and thy children's for ever, because thou hast wholly followed the LORD my God.

И сега, ето, ГОСПОД ме опази жив, както каза, тези четиридесет и пет години, от времето, когато ГОСПОД говори това слово на Мойсей, когато Израил ходеше из пустинята; и сега, ето, днес аз съм на осемдесет и пет години.

And now, behold, the LORD hath kept me alive, as he said, these forty and five years, even since the LORD spake this word unto Moses, while the children of Israel wandered in the wilderness: and now, lo, I am this day fourscore and five years old.

И днес съм все така силен, както в деня, когато Мойсей ме изпрати; както беше силата ми тогава, така е силата ми и сега — за бой и за излизане, и за влизане.

As yet I am as strong this day as I was in the day that Moses sent me: as my strength was then, even so is my strength now, for war, both to go out, and to come in.

Затова сега, дай ми тази хълмиста земя, за която ГОСПОД говори в онзи ден; защото ти чу в онзи ден, че там са енакимите с големи укрепени градове. Само ГОСПОД да е с мен, и аз ще ги изгоня, както ГОСПОД каза.

Now therefore give me this mountain, whereof the LORD spake in that day; for thou heardest in that day how the Anakims were there, and that the cities were great and fenced: if so be the LORD will be with me, then I shall be able to drive them out, as the LORD said.

И Иисус го благослови и даде Хеврон за наследство на Халев, сина на Ефоний.

And Joshua blessed him, and gave unto Caleb the son of Jephunneh Hebron for an inheritance.

Затова Хеврон стана наследството на Халев, сина на кенезеца Ефоний, както е и до днес, защото той напълно последва ГОСПОДА, Израилевия Бог.

Hebron therefore became the inheritance of Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite unto this day, because that he wholly followed the LORD God of Israel.

А името на Хеврон преди беше Кириат-Арва; а Арва беше най-големият човек между енакимите. И после земята си почина от война.

And the name of Hebron before was Kirjath–arba; which Arba was a great man among the Anakims. And the land had rest from war.
