Ezekiel 33

И ГОСПОДНОТО слово беше към мен и каза:

Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

Сине човешки, говори на синовете на народа си и им кажи: Когато докарам меч върху някоя земя и народът на онази земя вземе някой човек от себе си и си го постави за страж,

Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman:

и той, като види, че мечът идва върху земята, затръби тръбата и предупреди народа,

If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people;

тогава, ако някой чуе добре гласа на тръбата и не се пази, и мечът дойде и го постигне, кръвта му ще бъде на главата му.

Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head.

Той е чул гласа на тръбата, но не се е пазил — кръвта му ще бъде на него; а който се пази, ще избави живота си.

He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul.

Но ако стражът види, че мечът идва, и не затръби тръбата, и народът не се пази, и мечът дойде и постигне някого от тях, той ще бъде постигнат заради беззаконието си, но кръвта му ще изискам от ръката на стража.

But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.

И ти, сине човешки, поставих те страж на израилевия дом. И така, чуй словото от устата Ми и ги предупреди от Моя страна.

So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.

Когато кажа на безбожния: Безбожнико, непременно ще умреш! — а ти не проговориш, за да предупредиш безбожния да се обърне от пътя си, онзи безбожник ще умре заради беззаконието си, но кръвта му ще изискам от ръката ти.

When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

Но ако предупредиш безбожния за пътя му, да се обърне от него, а той не се обърне от пътя си, той ще умре заради беззаконието си, а ти си спасил душата си.

Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

Затова, сине човешки, кажи на израилевия дом: Така говорихте, казвайки: Престъпленията ни и греховете ни са върху нас и ние чезнем заради тях! Как ще живеем?

Therefore, O thou son of man, speak unto the house of Israel; Thus ye speak, saying, If our transgressions and our sins be upon us, and we pine away in them, how should we then live?

Кажи им: Жив съм Аз, заявява Господ БОГ — нямам благоволение в смъртта на безбожния, а да се обърне безбожният от пътя си и да живее! Обърнете се, обърнете се от злите си пътища, защо да умрете, доме израилев?

Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

И ти, сине човешки, кажи на народа си: Правдата на праведния няма да го спаси в деня, когато извърши престъпление; и безбожният няма да падне заради безбожието си в деня, когато се обърне от безбожието си, също както и праведният няма да живее заради правдата си в деня, когато съгреши.

Therefore, thou son of man, say unto the children of thy people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression: as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live for his righteousness in the day that he sinneth.

Когато кажа на праведния, че непременно ще живее, и той се уповае на правдата си и върши беззаконие, всичките му праведни дела няма да се спомнят и заради беззаконието си, което е извършил, той ще умре.

When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it.

И когато кажа на безбожния: Непременно ще умреш! — и той се обърне от греха си и върши правда и правота,

Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right;

ако безбожният върне залог, плати ограбеното, ходи в правилата на живота, без да върши беззаконие, непременно ще живее, няма да умре.

If the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he had robbed, walk in the statutes of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die.

Всичките му грехове, които е извършил, няма да му се помнят — той е вършил правда и правота, непременно ще живее.

None of his sins that he hath committed shall be mentioned unto him: he hath done that which is lawful and right; he shall surely live.

Но синовете на народа ти казват: Пътят на Господа не е прав. А техният път е крив.

Yet the children of thy people say, The way of the Lord is not equal: but as for them, their way is not equal.

Когато праведният се обърне от правдата си и върши неправда, заради нея ще умре.

When the righteous turneth from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, he shall even die thereby.

А когато безбожният се обърне от безбожието си и върши правда и правота, той ще живее заради това.

But if the wicked turn from his wickedness, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall live thereby.

А вие казвате: Пътят на Господа не е прав. Ще ви съдя всекиго според пътищата му, доме израилев!

Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. O ye house of Israel, I will judge you every one after his ways.

И в дванадесетата година на плена ни, в десетия месец, на петия ден от месеца, дойде при мен един избягал от Ерусалим и каза: Градът е превзет.

And it came to pass in the twelfth year of our captivity, in the tenth month, in the fifth day of the month, that one that had escaped out of Jerusalem came unto me, saying, The city is smitten.

А вечерта, преди да дойде избягалият, ръката на ГОСПОДА беше върху мен и отвори устата ми, докато той дойде при мен сутринта; и устата ми се отвори и вече не бях ням.

Now the hand of the LORD was upon me in the evening, afore he that was escaped came; and had opened my mouth, until he came to me in the morning; and my mouth was opened, and I was no more dumb.

И ГОСПОДНОТО слово беше към мен и каза:

Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

Сине човешки, живеещите в онези опустошени места в израилевата земя говорят и казват: Авраам беше един и получи за притежание земята, а ние сме мнозина — на нас е право да се даде земята за притежание.

Son of man, they that inhabit those wastes of the land of Israel speak, saying, Abraham was one, and he inherited the land: but we are many; the land is given us for inheritance.

Затова им кажи: Така казва Господ БОГ: Ядете месо с кръвта му, вдигате очи към идолите си и проливате кръв — и ще притежавате ли земята?

Wherefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Ye eat with the blood, and lift up your eyes toward your idols, and shed blood: and shall ye possess the land?

Разчитате на меча си, вършите гнусотии и осквернявате всеки жената на ближния си — и ще притежавате ли земята?

Ye stand upon your sword, ye work abomination, and ye defile every one his neighbour's wife: and shall ye possess the land?

Така им кажи: Така казва Господ БОГ: Жив съм Аз — онези, които са в опустошените места, непременно ще паднат от меч; и който е на открито поле, ще го предам на зверовете да го изядат; а които са в крепостите и в пещерите, ще измрат от мор.

Say thou thus unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; As I live, surely they that are in the wastes shall fall by the sword, and him that is in the open field will I give to the beasts to be devoured, and they that be in the forts and in the caves shall die of the pestilence.

И ще обърна земята на пустош и да бъде за смайване, и гордата й сила ще пресекне, и израилевите планини ще запустеят, никой няма да минава там.

For I will lay the land most desolate, and the pomp of her strength shall cease; and the mountains of Israel shall be desolate, that none shall pass through.

И тогава ще познаят, че Аз съм ГОСПОД, когато обърна земята на пустош и да бъде за смайване заради всичките мерзости, които извършиха.

Then shall they know that I am the LORD, when I have laid the land most desolate because of all their abominations which they have committed.

А ти, сине човешки, синовете на народа ти говорят за теб при стените и входовете на къщите, и си говорят един на друг, всеки на брат си, и казват: Елате сега и чуйте какво е словото, което излиза от ГОСПОДА.

Also, thou son of man, the children of thy people still are talking against thee by the walls and in the doors of the houses, and speak one to another, every one to his brother, saying, Come, I pray you, and hear what is the word that cometh forth from the LORD.

Те идват при теб, както идва народ, и седят пред теб като Мой народ, и слушат думите ти, но не ги изпълняват, защото с устата си показват много любов, но сърцето им ходи след печалбите им.

And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness.

И, ето, ти си им като любима песен, като човек, с хубав глас, който свири добре, защото слушат думите ти, а не ги изпълняват.

And, lo, thou art unto them as a very lovely song of one that hath a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument: for they hear thy words, but they do them not.

А когато това дойде — ето, идва — тогава ще познаят, че е имало пророк между тях.

And when this cometh to pass, (lo, it will come,) then shall they know that a prophet hath been among them.
