Zechariah 6

مَیں نے پھر اپنی نگاہ اُٹھائی تو کیا دیکھتا ہوں کہ چار رتھ پیتل کے دو پہاڑوں کے بیچ میں سے نکل رہے ہیں۔

And I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came four chariots out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of brass.

6:2

پہلے رتھ کے گھوڑے سرخ، دوسرے کے سیاہ،

In the first chariot were red horses; and in the second chariot black horses;

6:3

تیسرے کے سفید اور چوتھے کے دھبے دار تھے۔ سب طاقت ور تھے۔

And in the third chariot white horses; and in the fourth chariot grisled and bay horses.

6:4

جو فرشتہ مجھ سے بات کر رہا تھا اُس سے مَیں نے سوال کیا، ”میرے آقا، اِن کا کیا مطلب ہے؟“

Then I answered and said unto the angel that talked with me, What are these, my lord?

6:5

اُس نے جواب دیا، ”یہ آسمان کی چار روحیں ہیں۔ پہلے یہ پوری دنیا کے مالک کے حضور کھڑی تھیں، لیکن اب وہاں سے نکل رہی ہیں۔

And the angel answered and said unto me, These are the four spirits of the heavens, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth.

6:6

سیاہ گھوڑوں کا رتھ شمالی ملک کی طرف جا رہا ہے، سفید گھوڑوں کا مغرب کی طرف، اور دھبے دار گھوڑوں کا جنوب کی طرف۔“

The black horses which are therein go forth into the north country; and the white go forth after them; and the grisled go forth toward the south country.

6:7

یہ طاقت ور گھوڑے بڑی بےتابی سے اِس انتظار میں تھے کہ دنیا کی گشت کریں۔ پھر اُس نے حکم دیا، ”چلو، دنیا کی گشت کرو۔“ وہ فوراً نکل کر دنیا کی گشت کرنے لگے۔

And the bay went forth, and sought to go that they might walk to and fro through the earth: and he said, Get you hence, walk to and fro through the earth. So they walked to and fro through the earth.

6:8

فرشتے نے مجھے آواز دے کر کہا، ”اُن گھوڑوں پر خاص دھیان دو جو شمالی ملک کی طرف بڑھ رہے ہیں۔ یہ اُس ملک پر میرا غصہ اُتاریں گے۔“

Then cried he upon me, and spake unto me, saying, Behold, these that go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country.

6:9

رب کا کلام مجھ پر نازل ہوا،

And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
