Psalms 128

En vallfartssång.  Säll är envar som fruktar HERREN      och vandrar på hans vägar.

Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways.

 Ja, av dina händers arbete      får du njuta frukten;      säll är du, och väl dig!

For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.

 Lik ett fruktsamt vinträd varder din hustru,      därinne i ditt hus,  lika olivtelningar dina barn,      omkring ditt bord.

Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.

 Ty se, så varder den man välsignad,      som fruktar HERREN.

Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD.

 HERREN välsigne dig från Sion;  må du få se Jerusalems välgång      i alla dina livsdagar,

The LORD shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.

 och må du få se barn av dina barn.      Frid över Israel!

Yea, thou shalt see thy children's children, and peace upon Israel.
