Psalms 53

Al Músico principal: sobre Mahalath: Masquil de David. DIJO el necio en su corazón: No hay Dios. Corrompiéronse é hicieron abominable maldad: No hay quien haga bien.

The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.

Dios desde los cielos miró sobre los hijos de los hombres, Por ver si hay algún entendido Que busque á Dios.

God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.

Cada uno se había vuelto atrás; todos se habían corrompido: No hay quien haga bien, no hay ni aun uno.

Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

¿No tienen conocimiento todos esos que obran iniquidad? Que comen á mi pueblo como si comiesen pan: Á Dios no han invocado.

Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread: they have not called upon God.

Allí se sobresaltaron de pavor donde no había miedo: Porque Dios ha esparcido los huesos del que asentó campo contra ti: Los avergonzaste, porque Dios los desechó.

There were they in great fear, where no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee: thou hast put them to shame, because God hath despised them.

¡Oh quién diese de Sión saludes á Israel! En volviendo Dios la cautividad de su pueblo, Gozarse ha Jacob, y alegraráse Israel.

Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When God bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
