Psalms 128

Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways.

(O cîntare a treptelor.) Ferice de oricine se teme de Domnul, şi umblă pe căile Lui!

For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.

Căci atunci te bucuri de lucrul mînilor tale, eşti fericit, şi-ţi merge bine.

Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.

Nevastă-ta este ca o viţă roditoare înlăuntrul casei tale; copiii tăi stau ca nişte lăstari de măslin împrejurul mesei tale.

Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD.

Aşa este binecuvîntat omul care se teme de Domnul.

The LORD shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.

Să te binecuvînteze Domnul din Sion, să vezi fericirea Ierusalimului, în toate zilele vieţii tale,

Yea, thou shalt see thy children's children, and peace upon Israel.

şi să vezi pe copiii copiilor tăi! Pacea să fie peste Israel!
