Psalms 131

LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.

हे यहोवा, मैं अभिमानी नहीं हूँ। मैं महत्वपूर्ण होने का जतन नहीं करता हूँ। मैं वो काम करने का जतन नहीं करता हूँ जो मेरे लिये बहुत कठिन हैं। ऐसी उन बातों की मुझे चिंता नहीं है।

Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.

मैं निश्चल हूँ, मेरी आत्मा शांत है। मेरी आत्मा शांत और अचल है, जैसे कोई शिशु अपनी माता की गोद में तृप्त होता है।

Let Israel hope in the LORD from henceforth and for ever.

इस्राएल, यहोवा पर भरोसा रखो। उसका भरोसा रखो, अब और सदा सदा ही उसका भरोसा रखो!
