Psalms 128

Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways.

Hodočasnička pjesma. Blago svakome koji se Jahve boji, koji njegovim hodi stazama!

For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.

Plod ruku svojih ti ćeš uživati, blago tebi, dobro će ti biti.

Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.

Žena će ti biti kao plodna loza u odajama tvoje kuće; sinovi tvoji k'o mladice masline oko stola tvojega.

Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD.

Eto, tako će biti blagoslovljen čovjek koji se Jahve boji!

The LORD shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.

Blagoslovio te Jahve sa Siona, uživao sreću Jeruzalema sve dane života svog!

Yea, thou shalt see thy children's children, and peace upon Israel.

Vidio djecu svojih sinova, mir nad Izraelom!
