Jeremiah 39

In the ninth year of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the tenth month, came Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon and all his army against Jerusalem, and they besieged it.

В деветата година на юдовия цар Седекия, в десетия месец, вавилонският цар Навуходоносор беше дошъл с цялата си войска против Ерусалим и го обсадиха.

And in the eleventh year of Zedekiah, in the fourth month, the ninth day of the month, the city was broken up.

А в единадесетата година на Седекия, в четвъртия месец, на деветия ден от месеца, портата на града беше разбита.

And all the princes of the king of Babylon came in, and sat in the middle gate, even Nergal–sharezer, Samgar–nebo, Sarsechim, Rab–saris, Nergal–sharezer, Rab–mag, with all the residue of the princes of the king of Babylon.

И всичките първенци на вавилонския цар дойдоха и седнаха в средната порта: Нергал-Саресер, Самгар-Нево, Сарсехим, началникът на скопците, Нергал-Саресер, началникът на магьосниците и всички други първенци на вавилонския цар.

And it came to pass, that when Zedekiah the king of Judah saw them, and all the men of war, then they fled, and went forth out of the city by night, by the way of the king's garden, by the gate betwixt the two walls: and he went out the way of the plain.

А когато юдовият цар Седекия и всичките воини ги видяха, побягнаха и излязоха през нощта от града по пътя на царската градина, през портата, която е между двете стени; и царят излезе по пътя към равнината.

But the Chaldeans' army pursued after them, and overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho: and when they had taken him, they brought him up to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon to Riblah in the land of Hamath, where he gave judgment upon him.

А войската на халдейците ги преследва и настигнаха Седекия в равнините на Ерихон, и го взеха, и го заведоха при вавилонския цар Навуходоносор в Ривла, в земята Емат, и той произнесе присъда над него.

Then the king of Babylon slew the sons of Zedekiah in Riblah before his eyes: also the king of Babylon slew all the nobles of Judah.

И вавилонският цар посече синовете на Седекия в Ривла пред очите му, и вавилонският цар посече всичките благородни на Юда.

Moreover he put out Zedekiah's eyes, and bound him with chains, to carry him to Babylon.

И избоде очите на Седекия и го окова в бронзови окови, за да го отведе във Вавилон.

And the Chaldeans burned the king's house, and the houses of the people, with fire, and brake down the walls of Jerusalem.

А халдейците изгориха с огън царския дворец и къщите на народа и събориха стените на Ерусалим.

Then Nebuzar–adan the captain of the guard carried away captive into Babylon the remnant of the people that remained in the city, and those that fell away, that fell to him, with the rest of the people that remained.

А началникът на телохранителите Навузардан откара в плен във Вавилон остатъка от народа, който остана в града, и бежанците, които бяха прибягнали при него, и остатъка от народа, който остана.

But Nebuzar–adan the captain of the guard left of the poor of the people, which had nothing, in the land of Judah, and gave them vineyards and fields at the same time.

И началникът на телохранителите Навузардан остави в юдовата земя някои от народа, сиромасите, които нямаха нищо, и им даде лозя и ниви в онзи ден.

Now Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon gave charge concerning Jeremiah to Nebuzar–adan the captain of the guard, saying,

А вавилонският цар Навуходоносор заповяда на началника на телохранителите Навузардан относно Еремия, като каза:

Take him, and look well to him, and do him no harm; but do unto him even as he shall say unto thee.

Вземи го и имай грижа за него, и да не му направиш нищо лошо, а каквото ти каже, това да му направиш.

So Nebuzar–adan the captain of the guard sent, and Nebushasban, Rab–saris, and Nergal–sharezer, Rab–mag, and all the king of Babylon's princes;

И началникът на телохранителите Навузардан изпрати, и Навусазван, началникът на скопците, и Нергал-Саресер, началникът на магьосниците, и всички по-главни служители на вавилонския цар,

Even they sent, and took Jeremiah out of the court of the prison, and committed him unto Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan, that he should carry him home: so he dwelt among the people.

изпратиха и взеха Еремия от двора на стражата и го предадоха на Годолия, сина на Ахикам, син на Сафан, за да го заведе в къщата. И той живееше сред народа.

Now the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah, while he was shut up in the court of the prison, saying,

А ГОСПОДНОТО слово беше към Еремия, когато беше затворен в двора на стражата, и каза:

Go and speak to Ebed–melech the Ethiopian, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring my words upon this city for evil, and not for good; and they shall be accomplished in that day before thee.

Иди и говори на етиопеца Авдемелех, като кажеш: Така казва ГОСПОД на Войнствата, Израилевият Бог: Ето, Аз докарвам думите Си върху този град за зло, а не за добро; и ще се сбъднат пред теб в онзи ден.

But I will deliver thee in that day, saith the LORD: and thou shalt not be given into the hand of the men of whom thou art afraid.

Но теб ще избавя в онзи ден, заявява ГОСПОД, и няма да бъдеш предаден в ръката на хората, от които се страхуваш.

For I will surely deliver thee, and thou shalt not fall by the sword, but thy life shall be for a prey unto thee: because thou hast put thy trust in me, saith the LORD.

Защото непременно ще те избавя и няма да паднеш от меч, а животът ти ще ти бъде плячка, понеже си се уповал на Мен, заявява ГОСПОД.
