I Samuel 28

And it came to pass in those days, that the Philistines gathered their armies together for warfare, to fight with Israel. And Achish said unto David, Know thou assuredly, that thou shalt go out with me to battle, thou and thy men.

А в онези дни филистимците събраха войските си за война, за да се бият с Израил. И Анхус каза на Давид: Да знаеш със сигурност, че ще излезеш с мен в стана, ти и мъжете ти!

And David said to Achish, Surely thou shalt know what thy servant can do. And Achish said to David, Therefore will I make thee keeper of mine head for ever.

Тогава Давид каза на Анхус: Така ще разбереш какво ще направи слугата ти! А Анхус каза на Давид: Затова ще те направя мой телохранител завинаги.

Now Samuel was dead, and all Israel had lamented him, and buried him in Ramah, even in his own city. And Saul had put away those that had familiar spirits, and the wizards, out of the land.

А Самуил беше вече умрял и целият Израил го беше оплакал и го беше погребал в града му Рама. И Саул беше махнал от земята викачите на мъртви и врачките.

And the Philistines gathered themselves together, and came and pitched in Shunem: and Saul gathered all Israel together, and they pitched in Gilboa.

И филистимците се събраха и дойдоха, и се разположиха на стан в Сунам. А Саул събра целия Израил и се разположи на стан в Гелвуе.

And when Saul saw the host of the Philistines, he was afraid, and his heart greatly trembled.

И когато Саул видя стана на филистимците, той се уплаши и сърцето му силно се разтрепери.

And when Saul enquired of the LORD, the LORD answered him not, neither by dreams, nor by Urim, nor by prophets.

И Саул се допита до ГОСПОДА, но ГОСПОД не му отговори, нито чрез сънища, нито чрез Урим, нито чрез пророците.

Then said Saul unto his servants, Seek me a woman that hath a familiar spirit, that I may go to her, and enquire of her. And his servants said to him, Behold, there is a woman that hath a familiar spirit at Endor.

Тогава Саул каза на слугите си: Потърсете ми жена медиум, която вика мъртви, за да отида при нея и да се допитам до нея. И слугите му казаха: Ето, има една жена в Ендор, която е медиум и вика мъртви.

And Saul disguised himself, and put on other raiment, and he went, and two men with him, and they came to the woman by night: and he said, I pray thee, divine unto me by the familiar spirit, and bring me him up, whom I shall name unto thee.

Тогава Саул се предреши, като облече други дрехи, и отиде, той и двама мъже с него; и дойдоха при жената през нощта. И той каза: Моля те, врачувай ми чрез викане на мъртви и ми изведи когото ти кажа.

And the woman said unto him, Behold, thou knowest what Saul hath done, how he hath cut off those that have familiar spirits, and the wizards, out of the land: wherefore then layest thou a snare for my life, to cause me to die?

А жената му каза: Ето, ти знаеш какво направи Саул, как изтреби от земята викачите на мъртви и врачките. Защо слагаш примка за живота ми, за да ме убиеш?

And Saul sware to her by the LORD, saying, As the LORD liveth, there shall no punishment happen to thee for this thing.

И Саул й се закле в ГОСПОДА и каза: Жив е ГОСПОД — никакво наказание няма да те сполети за това!

Then said the woman, Whom shall I bring up unto thee? And he said, Bring me up Samuel.

Тогава жената каза: Кого да ти изведа? А той каза: Изведи ми Самуил.

And when the woman saw Samuel, she cried with a loud voice: and the woman spake to Saul, saying, Why hast thou deceived me? for thou art Saul.

И когато жената видя Самуил, извика със силен глас. И жената говори на Саул и каза: Защо ме измами? Ти си Саул!

And the king said unto her, Be not afraid: for what sawest thou? And the woman said unto Saul, I saw gods ascending out of the earth.

И царят й каза: Не се страхувай. Какво виждаш? И жената каза на Саул: Виждам едно свръхестествено същество да излиза от земята.

And he said unto her, What form is he of? And she said, An old man cometh up; and he is covered with a mantle. And Saul perceived that it was Samuel, and he stooped with his face to the ground, and bowed himself.

И той й каза: Как изглежда? А тя каза: Един старец излиза и е обвит в мантия. И Саул разбра, че това беше Самуил, и се наведе с лице до земята, и се поклони.

And Samuel said to Saul, Why hast thou disquieted me, to bring me up? And Saul answered, I am sore distressed; for the Philistines make war against me, and God is departed from me, and answereth me no more, neither by prophets, nor by dreams: therefore I have called thee, that thou mayest make known unto me what I shall do.

И Самуил каза на Саул: Защо ме обезпокои, като ме изведе? А Саул отговори: Много съм притеснен, защото филистимците се бият против мен, а Бог се е оттеглил от мен и не ми отговаря вече нито чрез пророците, нито чрез сънища. Затова повиках теб, за да ми кажеш какво да правя.

Then said Samuel, Wherefore then dost thou ask of me, seeing the LORD is departed from thee, and is become thine enemy?

Тогава Самуил каза: Защо тогава питаш мен, след като ГОСПОД се е оттеглил от теб и ти е станал враг?

And the LORD hath done to him, as he spake by me: for the LORD hath rent the kingdom out of thine hand, and given it to thy neighbour, even to David:

А ГОСПОД си извърши, както беше говорил чрез мен, и ГОСПОД откъсна царството от ръката ти и го даде на ближния ти, на Давид.

Because thou obeyedst not the voice of the LORD, nor executedst his fierce wrath upon Amalek, therefore hath the LORD done this thing unto thee this day.

Понеже ти не послуша гласа на ГОСПОДА и не изпълни страшния Му гняв над Амалик, затова ГОСПОД ти направи това нещо днес.

Moreover the LORD will also deliver Israel with thee into the hand of the Philistines: and to morrow shalt thou and thy sons be with me: the LORD also shall deliver the host of Israel into the hand of the Philistines.

При това ГОСПОД ще предаде и Израил заедно с теб в ръката на филистимците. И утре ти със синовете си ще бъдеш при мен. И ГОСПОД ще предаде израилевата войска в ръката на филистимците.

Then Saul fell straightway all along on the earth, and was sore afraid, because of the words of Samuel: and there was no strength in him; for he had eaten no bread all the day, nor all the night.

Тогава Саул внезапно падна с цялото си тяло на земята и ужасно се уплаши от думите на Самуил. И в него нямаше никаква сила, понеже не беше ял нищо през целия ден и през цялата нощ.

And the woman came unto Saul, and saw that he was sore troubled, and said unto him, Behold, thine handmaid hath obeyed thy voice, and I have put my life in my hand, and have hearkened unto thy words which thou spakest unto me.

И жената дойде при Саул и видя, че беше ужасен, и му каза: Ето, слугинята ти послуша гласа ти и аз изложих живота си на опасност и послушах думите ти, които ми говори.

Now therefore, I pray thee, hearken thou also unto the voice of thine handmaid, and let me set a morsel of bread before thee; and eat, that thou mayest have strength, when thou goest on thy way.

И сега, моля те, послушай и ти гласа на слугинята си и нека сложа пред теб малко хляб; и яж, за да имаш сила, когато отидеш по пътя си.

But he refused, and said, I will not eat. But his servants, together with the woman, compelled him; and he hearkened unto their voice. So he arose from the earth, and sat upon the bed.

Но той отказа и каза: Няма да ям. Но слугите му го увещаваха заедно с жената и той послуша гласа им, и стана от земята, и седна на леглото.

And the woman had a fat calf in the house; and she hasted, and killed it, and took flour, and kneaded it, and did bake unleavened bread thereof:

А жената имаше в къщата угоено теле и побърза да го заколи. И взе брашно, омеси го и изпече от него безквасен хляб.

And she brought it before Saul, and before his servants; and they did eat. Then they rose up, and went away that night.

И поднесе на Саул и на слугите му и те ядоха. И станаха и си тръгнаха същата нощ.
