Canto dei pellegrinaggi. Di Davide. Ecco, quant’è buono e quant’è piacevole che fratelli dimorino assieme!

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

E’ come l’olio squisito che, sparso sul capo, scende sulla barba, sulla barba d’Aaronne, che scende fino all’orlo de’ suoi vestimenti;

It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;

è come la rugiada dell’Hermon, che scende sui monti di Sion; poiché quivi l’Eterno ha ordinato che sia la benedizione, la vita in eterno.

As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.
