Psalms 15

Psalam. Davidov. Jahve, tko smije prebivati u šatoru tvome, tko li stanovati na svetoj gori tvojoj?

LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?

Onaj samo tko živi čestito, koji čini pravicu, i istinu iz srca zbori,

He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.

i ne kleveće jezikom; koji bližnjem zla ne nanosi i ne sramoti susjeda svoga;

He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.

koji zlikovca prezire, a poštuje one što se Jahve boje;

In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not.

koji se zaklinje prijatelju, a ne krši prisege, i ne daje novca na lihvu, i ne prima mita protiv nedužna. Tko tako čini, pokolebat' se neće dovijeka.

He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.
