Psalms 53

(По слав. 52) За първия певец. По Махалат. Маскил на Давид. Безумният каза в сърцето си: Няма Бог! Поквариха се и извършиха отвратително беззаконие; няма никой, който да върши добро.

The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.

Бог погледна от небето над човешките синове, за да види има ли някой да е разумен и да търси Бога.

God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.

Всички се отклониха, заедно се поквариха; няма никой, който да върши добро, няма ни един.

Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

Нямат ли разум тези, които вършат грях, които изпояждат народа Ми, като че хляб ядат, и не призовават Бога?

Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread: they have not called upon God.

Тогава ги нападна голям ужас, без да има ужас; защото Бог разпръсна костите на онзи, който разполага стан против теб; ти си ги посрамил, защото Бог ги е отхвърлил.

There were they in great fear, where no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee: thou hast put them to shame, because God hath despised them.

О, дано да дойде спасението на Израил от Сион! Когато Бог върне народа Си от плен, ще ликува Яков, ще се развесели Израил.

Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When God bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
