Jeremiah 44

Словото което беше към Еремия за всичките юдеи, които живееха в египетската земя, които живееха в Мигдол и в Тафнес, и в Мемфис, и в земята Патрос, и каза:

The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the Jews which dwell in the land of Egypt, which dwell at Migdol, and at Tahpanhes, and at Noph, and in the country of Pathros, saying,

Така казва ГОСПОД на Войнствата, Израилевият Бог: Видяхте цялото зло, което докарах върху Ерусалим и върху всичките юдови градове. И ето ги, запустели са днес и няма в тях жител,

Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Ye have seen all the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, and upon all the cities of Judah; and, behold, this day they are a desolation, and no man dwelleth therein,

заради злото им, което вършиха и Ме разгневяваха, като отиваха да кадят и да служат на други богове, които нито те познаваха, нито вие, нито бащите ви.

Because of their wickedness which they have committed to provoke me to anger, in that they went to burn incense, and to serve other gods, whom they knew not, neither they, ye, nor your fathers.

И пращах до вас всичките Си слуги, пророците, като ставах рано и ги пращах, и казвах: Ах, не правете това гнусно нещо, което мразя!

Howbeit I sent unto you all my servants the prophets, rising early and sending them, saying, Oh, do not this abominable thing that I hate.

Но те не послушаха и не приклониха ухото си да се върнат от злото си и да не кадят на други богове.

But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear to turn from their wickedness, to burn no incense unto other gods.

Затова яростта Ми и гневът ми се изляха и се разгоряха в юдовите градове и по ерусалимските улици и те станаха разорени и пусти, както са и днес.

Wherefore my fury and mine anger was poured forth, and was kindled in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem; and they are wasted and desolate, as at this day.

И сега, така казва ГОСПОД на Войнствата, Израилевият Бог: Защо вършите това голямо зло против душите си, да си отсечете мъж и жена, дете и кърмаче отсред Юда и да не ви остане остатък,

Therefore now thus saith the LORD, the God of hosts, the God of Israel; Wherefore commit ye this great evil against your souls, to cut off from you man and woman, child and suckling, out of Judah, to leave you none to remain;

като Ме разгневявате с делата на ръцете си и кадите на други богове в египетската земя, където дойдохте да живеете като чужденци, за да бъдете изтребени и да станете за клетва и за присмех между всичките народи на земята?

In that ye provoke me unto wrath with the works of your hands, burning incense unto other gods in the land of Egypt, whither ye be gone to dwell, that ye might cut yourselves off, and that ye might be a curse and a reproach among all the nations of the earth?

Забравихте ли злодеянията на бащите си и злодеянията на юдовите царе, и злодеянията на жените им, и своите злодеяния, и злодеянията на жените си, които извършиха в юдовата земя и по ерусалимските улици?

Have ye forgotten the wickedness of your fathers, and the wickedness of the kings of Judah, and the wickedness of their wives, and your own wickedness, and the wickedness of your wives, which they have committed in the land of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem?

И до днес не се смириха и не се убояха, и не ходиха в Моя закон и в Моите правила, които поставих пред вас и пред бащите ви.

They are not humbled even unto this day, neither have they feared, nor walked in my law, nor in my statutes, that I set before you and before your fathers.

Затова, така казва ГОСПОД на Войнствата, Израилевият Бог: Ето, Аз ще насоча лицето Си против вас за зло и за изтреблението на целия Юда.

Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will set my face against you for evil, and to cut off all Judah.

И ще отнема остатъка от Юда, тези, които насочиха лицата си да отидат в египетската земя, за да живеят там като чужденци; ще паднат от меч, ще се довършат от глад, от най-малкия до най-големия, ще измрат от меч и от глад и ще бъдат за проклятие и за смайване, за клетва и за присмех.

And I will take the remnant of Judah, that have set their faces to go into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, and they shall all be consumed, and fall in the land of Egypt; they shall even be consumed by the sword and by the famine: they shall die, from the least even unto the greatest, by the sword and by the famine: and they shall be an execration, and an astonishment, and a curse, and a reproach.

Защото ще накажа живеещите в египетската земя, както наказах Ерусалим — с меч, с глад и с мор.

For I will punish them that dwell in the land of Egypt, as I have punished Jerusalem, by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence:

И остатъкът от Юда, който е отишъл в египетската земя да живеят там като чужденци, няма да има избягал или оцелял да се върне в юдовата земя, в която те копнеят да се върнат да живеят там — защото няма да се върнат освен неколцина избягали.

So that none of the remnant of Judah, which are gone into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, shall escape or remain, that they should return into the land of Judah, to the which they have a desire to return to dwell there: for none shall return but such as shall escape.

Тогава всички мъже, които знаеха, че жените им кадяха на други богове, и всички жени, които стояха там, голямо множество, и целият народ, който живееше в египетската земя, в Патрос, отговориха на Еремия и казаха:

Then all the men which knew that their wives had burned incense unto other gods, and all the women that stood by, a great multitude, even all the people that dwelt in the land of Egypt, in Pathros, answered Jeremiah, saying,

За словото, което ти ни говори в Името на ГОСПОДА, няма да те послушаме,

As for the word that thou hast spoken unto us in the name of the LORD, we will not hearken unto thee.

а непременно ще вършим всичко, което е излязло от устата ни, ще кадим на небесната царица и ще й принасяме възлияния, както правехме ние и бащите ни, царете ни и първенците ни в юдовите градове и по ерусалимските улици, защото тогава имахме хляб до ситост и ни беше добре, и зло не видяхме.

But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil.

Но откакто престанахме да кадим на небесната царица и да й принасяме възлияния, бяхме лишени от всичко и се довършихме от меч и от глад.

But since we left off to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, we have wanted all things, and have been consumed by the sword and by the famine.

А жените казаха: И когато кадяхме на небесната царица и й принасяхме възлияния, без мъжете си ли й правехме питки с нейния образ и й принасяхме възлияния?

And when we burned incense to the queen of heaven, and poured out drink offerings unto her, did we make her cakes to worship her, and pour out drink offerings unto her, without our men?

И Еремия говори на целия народ, на мъжете и на жените, на целия народ, който му отговори така, като каза:

Then Jeremiah said unto all the people, to the men, and to the women, and to all the people which had given him that answer, saying,

Не си ли спомни ГОСПОД каденето, което кадяхте в юдовите градове и по ерусалимските улици, вие и бащите ви, царете ви и първенците ви, и народа на тази земя, и не дойде ли в ума Му?

The incense that ye burned in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, ye, and your fathers, your kings, and your princes, and the people of the land, did not the LORD remember them, and came it not into his mind?

И ГОСПОД не можа повече да търпи заради злите ви дела и заради гнусотиите, които вършихте. Затова земята ви стана пустош, за смайване и за проклятие, без жители, както е днес.

So that the LORD could no longer bear, because of the evil of your doings, and because of the abominations which ye have committed; therefore is your land a desolation, and an astonishment, and a curse, without an inhabitant, as at this day.

Понеже кадяхте и съгрешавахте против ГОСПОДА, и не послушахте гласа на ГОСПОДА, и не ходихте в закона Му и в наредбите Му, и в свидетелствата Му, затова ви постигна това зло, както е днес.

Because ye have burned incense, and because ye have sinned against the LORD, and have not obeyed the voice of the LORD, nor walked in his law, nor in his statutes, nor in his testimonies; therefore this evil is happened unto you, as at this day.

И Еремия каза на целия народ и на всичките жени: Слушайте ГОСПОДНОТО слово, всички от Юда, които сте в египетската земя.

Moreover Jeremiah said unto all the people, and to all the women, Hear the word of the LORD, all Judah that are in the land of Egypt:

Така говори ГОСПОД на Войнствата, Израилевият Бог, и казва: Вие и жените ви говорихте с устата си и извършихте с ръцете си, и казахте: Непременно ще изпълним обреците си, които обрекохме, да кадим на небесната царица и да й принасяме възлияния! Пазете обреците си и изпълнявайте обреците си!

Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying; Ye and your wives have both spoken with your mouths, and fulfilled with your hand, saying, We will surely perform our vows that we have vowed, to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her: ye will surely accomplish your vows, and surely perform your vows.

Затова, слушайте ГОСПОДНОТО слово всички от Юда, които живеете в египетската земя: Ето, заклех се с великото Си Име, казва ГОСПОД, че Името Ми няма вече да се произнесе от устата на никой мъж от Юда, който да каже: Жив е ГОСПОД! — в цялата египетска земя!

Therefore hear ye the word of the LORD, all Judah that dwell in the land of Egypt; Behold, I have sworn by my great name, saith the LORD, that my name shall no more be named in the mouth of any man of Judah in all the land of Egypt, saying, The Lord GOD liveth.

Ето, Аз бдя над тях за зло, а не за добро; и всичките юдови мъже, които са в египетската земя, ще загинат от меч и глад, докато се довършат.

Behold, I will watch over them for evil, and not for good: and all the men of Judah that are in the land of Egypt shall be consumed by the sword and by the famine, until there be an end of them.

И избягналите от меча ще се върнат от египетската земя в юдовата земя и ще бъдат броени мъже. И целият остатък от Юда, който отиде в египетската земя, за да живеят там като чужденци, ще познае, чие слово ще се сбъдне — Моето или тяхното.

Yet a small number that escape the sword shall return out of the land of Egypt into the land of Judah, and all the remnant of Judah, that are gone into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, shall know whose words shall stand, mine, or theirs.

И това ще ви бъде знамението, заявява ГОСПОД, че ще ви накажа на това място, за да познаете, че думите Ми против вас непременно ще се сбъднат за зло.

And this shall be a sign unto you, saith the LORD, that I will punish you in this place, that ye may know that my words shall surely stand against you for evil:

Така казва ГОСПОД: Ето, Аз предавам египетския цар, фараон Вафрий, в ръката на враговете му и в ръката на онези, които търсят да отнемат живота му, както предадох юдовия цар Седекия в ръката на врага му Навуходоносор, вавилонския цар, който търсеше да отнеме живота му.

Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will give Pharaoh–hophra king of Egypt into the hand of his enemies, and into the hand of them that seek his life; as I gave Zedekiah king of Judah into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, his enemy, and that sought his life.
