Jeremiah 45

Словото, което пророк Еремия говори на Варух, сина на Нирия, когато написа на книга тези думи от устата на Еремия в четвъртата година на юдовия цар Йоаким, сина на Йосия, като каза:

The word that Jeremiah the prophet spake unto Baruch the son of Neriah, when he had written these words in a book at the mouth of Jeremiah, in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, saying,

Така казва ГОСПОД, Израилевият Бог, за теб, Варух:

Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, unto thee, O Baruch;

Ти казваш: О, горко ми, защото ГОСПОД прибави печал на скръбта ми! Изморих се от въздишането си и не намирам почивка.

Thou didst say, Woe is me now! for the LORD hath added grief to my sorrow; I fainted in my sighing, and I find no rest.

Така да му кажеш: Така казва ГОСПОД: Ето, онова, което съградих, Аз събарям; и онова, което насадих, Аз изкоренявам, и то по цялата тази земя.

Thus shalt thou say unto him, The LORD saith thus; Behold, that which I have built will I break down, and that which I have planted I will pluck up, even this whole land.

А ти търсиш ли за себе си големи неща? Не търси; защото, ето, Аз докарвам зло върху всяка плът, заявява ГОСПОД, но на теб подарявам живота ти за плячка на всички места, където отидеш.

And seekest thou great things for thyself? seek them not: for, behold, I will bring evil upon all flesh, saith the LORD: but thy life will I give unto thee for a prey in all places whither thou goest.
