Psalms 101

داؤد کا زبور۔ مَیں شفقت اور انصاف کا گیت گاؤں گا۔ اے رب، مَیں تیری مدح سرائی کروں گا۔

I will sing of mercy and judgment: unto thee, O LORD, will I sing.

مَیں بڑی احتیاط سے بےالزام راہ پر چلوں گا۔ لیکن تُو کب میرے پاس آئے گا؟ مَیں خلوص دلی سے اپنے گھر میں زندگی گزاروں گا۔

I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.

مَیں شرارت کی بات اپنے سامنے نہیں رکھتا اور بُری حرکتوں سے نفرت کرتا ہوں۔ ایسی چیزیں میرے ساتھ لپٹ نہ جائیں۔

I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me.

جھوٹا دل مجھ سے دُور رہے۔ مَیں بُرائی کو جاننا ہی نہیں چاہتا۔

A froward heart shall depart from me: I will not know a wicked person.

جو چپکے سے اپنے پڑوسی پر تہمت لگائے اُسے مَیں خاموش کراؤں گا، جس کی آنکھیں مغرور اور دل متکبر ہو اُسے برداشت نہیں کروں گا۔

Whoso privily slandereth his neighbour, him will I cut off: him that hath an high look and a proud heart will not I suffer.

میری آنکھیں ملک کے وفاداروں پر لگی رہتی ہیں تاکہ وہ میرے ساتھ رہیں۔ جو بےالزام راہ پر چلے وہی میری خدمت کرے۔

Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: he that walketh in a perfect way, he shall serve me.

دھوکے باز میرے گھر میں نہ ٹھہرے، جھوٹ بولنے والا میری موجودگی میں قائم نہ رہے۔

He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that telleth lies shall not tarry in my sight.

ہر صبح کو مَیں ملک کے تمام بےدینوں کو خاموش کراؤں گا تاکہ تمام بدکاروں کو رب کے شہر میں سے مٹایا جائے۔

I will early destroy all the wicked of the land; that I may cut off all wicked doers from the city of the LORD.
