Zechariah 13

In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness.

اُس دن داؤد کے گھرانے اور یروشلم کے باشندوں کے لئے چشمہ کھولا جائے گا جس کے ذریعے وہ اپنے گناہوں اور ناپاکی کو دُور کر سکیں گے۔“

And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall no more be remembered: and also I will cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out of the land.

رب الافواج فرماتا ہے، ”اُس دن مَیں تمام بُتوں کو ملک میں سے مٹا دوں گا۔ اُن کا نام و نشان تک نہیں رہے گا، اور وہ کسی کو یاد نہیں رہیں گے۔ نبیوں اور ناپاکی کی روح کو بھی مَیں ملک سے دُور کروں گا۔

And it shall come to pass, that when any shall yet prophesy, then his father and his mother that begat him shall say unto him, Thou shalt not live; for thou speakest lies in the name of the LORD: and his father and his mother that begat him shall thrust him through when he prophesieth.

اِس کے بعد اگر کوئی نبوّت کرے تو اُس کے اپنے ماں باپ اُس سے کہیں گے، ’تُو زندہ نہیں رہ سکتا، کیونکہ تُو نے رب کا نام لے کر جھوٹ بولا ہے۔‘ جب وہ پیش گوئیاں سنائے گا تو اُس کے اپنے والدین اُسے چھید ڈالیں گے۔

And it shall come to pass in that day, that the prophets shall be ashamed every one of his vision, when he hath prophesied; neither shall they wear a rough garment to deceive:

اُس وقت ہر نبی کو اپنی رویا پر شرم آئے گی جب نبوّت کرے گا۔ وہ نبی کا بالوں سے بنا لباس نہیں پہنے گا تاکہ فریب دے

But he shall say, I am no prophet, I am an husbandman; for man taught me to keep cattle from my youth.

بلکہ کہے گا، ’مَیں نبی نہیں بلکہ کاشت کار ہوں۔ جوانی سے ہی میرا پیشہ کھیتی باڑی رہا ہے۔‘

And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.

اگر کوئی پوچھے، ’تو پھر تیرے سینے پر زخموں کے نشان کس طرح لگے؟‘ تو جواب دے گا، ’مَیں اپنے دوستوں کے گھر میں زخمی ہوا‘۔“

Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.

رب الافواج فرماتا ہے، ”اے تلوار، جاگ اُٹھ! میرے گلہ بان پر حملہ کر، اُس پر جو میرے قریب ہے۔ گلہ بان کو مار ڈال تاکہ بھیڑبکریاں تتر بتر ہو جائیں۔ مَیں خود اپنے ہاتھ کو چھوٹوں کے خلاف اُٹھاؤں گا۔“

And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein.

رب فرماتا ہے، ”پورے ملک میں لوگوں کے تین حصوں میں سے دو حصوں کو مٹایا جائے گا۔ دو حصے ہلاک ہو جائیں گے اور صرف ایک ہی حصہ بچا رہے گا۔

And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.

اِس بچے ہوئے حصے کو مَیں آگ میں ڈال کر چاندی یا سونے کی طرح پاک صاف کروں گا۔ تب وہ میرا نام پکاریں گے، اور مَیں اُن کی سنوں گا۔ مَیں کہوں گا، ’یہ میری قوم ہے،‘ اور وہ کہیں گے، ’رب ہمارا خدا ہے‘۔“
