Psalms 101

I will sing of mercy and judgment: unto thee, O LORD, will I sing.

मैं प्रेम और खरेपन के गीत गाऊँगा। यहोवा मैं तेरे लिये गाऊँगा।

I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.

मैं पूरी सावधानी से शुद्ध जीवन जीऊँगा। मैं अपने घर में शुद्ध जीवन जीऊँगा। हे यहोवा तू मेरे पास कब आयेगा

I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me.

मैं कोई भी प्रतिमा सामने नहीं रखूँगा। जो लोग इस प्रकार तेरे विमुख होते हैं, मुझो उनसे घृणा है। मैं कभी भी ऐसा नहीं करूँगा।

A froward heart shall depart from me: I will not know a wicked person.

मैं सच्चा रहूँगा। मैं बुरे काम नहीं करूँगा।

Whoso privily slandereth his neighbour, him will I cut off: him that hath an high look and a proud heart will not I suffer.

यदि कोई व्यक्ति छिपे छिपे अपने पड़ोसी के लिये दुर्वचन कहे, मैं उस व्यक्ति को ऐसा करने से रोकूँगा। मैं लोगों को अभिमानी बनने नहीं दूँगा और मैं उन्हें सोचने नहीं दूँगा, कि वे दूसरे लोगों से उत्तम हैं।

Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: he that walketh in a perfect way, he shall serve me.

मैं सारे ही देश में उन लोगों पर दृष्टि रखूँगा। जिन पर भरोसा किया जा सकता और मैं केवल उन्हीं लोगों को अपने लिये काम करने दूँगा। बस केवल ऐसे लोग मेरे सेवक हो सकते जो शुद्ध जीवन जीते हैं।

He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that telleth lies shall not tarry in my sight.

मैं अपने घर में ऐसे लोगों को रहने नहीं दूँगा जो झूठ बोलते हैं। मैं झूठों को अपने पास भी फटकने नहीं दूँगा।

I will early destroy all the wicked of the land; that I may cut off all wicked doers from the city of the LORD.

मैं उन दुष्टों को सदा ही नष्ट करूँगा, जो इस देश में रहते है। मै उन दुष्ट लोगों को विवश करूँगा, कि वे यहोवा के नगर को छोड़े।
