Ezra 6

Then Darius the king made a decree, and search was made in the house of the rolls, where the treasures were laid up in Babylon.

Da gab der König Darius Befehl, und man suchte nach in dem Urkundenhause, worin man die Schätze niederlegte zu Babel.

And there was found at Achmetha, in the palace that is in the province of the Medes, a roll, and therein was a record thus written:

Und es wurde zu Achmetha, in der Burg, die in der Landschaft Medien liegt, eine Rolle gefunden; und darin war eine Denkschrift also geschrieben:

In the first year of Cyrus the king the same Cyrus the king made a decree concerning the house of God at Jerusalem, Let the house be builded, the place where they offered sacrifices, and let the foundations thereof be strongly laid; the height thereof threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof threescore cubits;

Im ersten Jahre des Königs Kores gab der König Kores Befehl: Das Haus Gottes in Jerusalem anlangend: Dieses Haus soll wieder aufgebaut werden als eine Stätte, wo man Schlachtopfer opfert. Und seine Grundlagen sollen aufgerichtet werden: seine Höhe sechzig Ellen, seine Breite sechzig Ellen;

With three rows of great stones, and a row of new timber: and let the expenses be given out of the king's house:

drei Lagen von Quadersteinen und eine Lage von neuen Balken. Und die Kosten sollen aus dem Hause des Königs bestritten werden.

And also let the golden and silver vessels of the house of God, which Nebuchadnezzar took forth out of the temple which is at Jerusalem, and brought unto Babylon, be restored, and brought again unto the temple which is at Jerusalem, every one to his place, and place them in the house of God.

Und auch die goldenen und silbernen Geräte des Hauses Gottes, welche Nebukadnezar aus dem Tempel, der zu Jerusalem war, herausgenommen und nach Babel gebracht hat, soll man zurückgeben, daß ein jedes wieder in den Tempel zu Jerusalem komme, an seinen Ort; und du sollst sie in dem Hause Gottes niederlegen. -

Now therefore, Tatnai, governor beyond the river, Shethar–boznai, and your companions the Apharsachites, which are beyond the river, be ye far from thence:

Nun denn, Tatnai, Landpfleger jenseit des Stromes, Schethar-Bosnai und eure Genossen, die Apharsakiter, die ihr jenseit des Stromes seid, entfernet euch von dannen!

Let the work of this house of God alone; let the governor of the Jews and the elders of the Jews build this house of God in his place.

Laßt die Arbeit geschehen an diesem Hause Gottes; der Landpfleger der Juden und die Ältesten der Juden mögen dieses Haus Gottes an seiner früheren Stätte wieder aufbauen.

Moreover I make a decree what ye shall do to the elders of these Jews for the building of this house of God: that of the king's goods, even of the tribute beyond the river, forthwith expenses be given unto these men, that they be not hindered.

Und von mir wird Befehl gegeben wegen dessen, was ihr diesen Ältesten der Juden für den Bau dieses Hauses Gottes tun sollt; nämlich, von den Gütern des Königs, aus der Steuer jenseit des Stromes, sollen diesen Männern die Kosten pünktlich gegeben werden, damit sie nicht gehindert seien.

And that which they have need of, both young bullocks, and rams, and lambs, for the burnt offerings of the God of heaven, wheat, salt, wine, and oil, according to the appointment of the priests which are at Jerusalem, let it be given them day by day without fail:

Und was nötig ist, sowohl junge Stiere, als auch Widder und Lämmer zu Brandopfern für den Gott des Himmels, Weizen, Salz, Wein und Öl, soll ihnen nach dem Geheiß der Priester, die in Jerusalem sind, Tag für Tag unfehlbar gegeben werden,

That they may offer sacrifices of sweet savours unto the God of heaven, and pray for the life of the king, and of his sons.

damit sie dem Gott des Himmels Opfer lieblichen Geruchs darbringen und für das Leben des Königs und seiner Söhne beten.

Also I have made a decree, that whosoever shall alter this word, let timber be pulled down from his house, and being set up, let him be hanged thereon; and let his house be made a dunghill for this.

Und von mir wird Befehl gegeben: Welcher Mensch diesen Erlaß abändern wird, von dessen Hause soll ein Balken ausgerissen und er, aufgehängt, daran geschlagen werden; und sein Haus soll dieserhalb zu einer Kotstätte gemacht werden.

And the God that hath caused his name to dwell there destroy all kings and people, that shall put to their hand to alter and to destroy this house of God which is at Jerusalem. I Darius have made a decree; let it be done with speed.

Der Gott aber, der seinen Namen daselbst wohnen läßt, stürze jeden König und jedes Volk nieder, die ihre Hand ausstrecken werden, diesen Erlaß abzuändern, um dieses Haus Gottes zu zerstören, das in Jerusalem ist! Ich, Darius, habe den Befehl gegeben; pünktlich soll er vollzogen werden!

Then Tatnai, governor on this side the river, Shethar–boznai, and their companions, according to that which Darius the king had sent, so they did speedily.

Da taten Tatnai, der Landpfleger jenseit des Stromes, Schethar-Bosnai und ihre Genossen, wegen dessen was der König Darius entboten hatte, pünktlich also.

And the elders of the Jews builded, and they prospered through the prophesying of Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the son of Iddo. And they builded, and finished it, according to the commandment of the God of Israel, and according to the commandment of Cyrus, and Darius, and Artaxerxes king of Persia.

Und die Ältesten der Juden bauten; und es gelang ihnen durch die Weissagung Haggais, des Propheten, und Sacharjas, des Sohnes Iddos; und sie bauten und vollendeten nach dem Befehle des Gottes Israels, und nach dem Befehl Kores’ und Darius’ und Artasastas, des Königs von Persien.

And this house was finished on the third day of the month Adar, which was in the sixth year of the reign of Darius the king.

Und dieses Haus wurde beendet bis zum dritten Tage des Monats Adar, das ist das sechste Jahr der Regierung des Königs Darius.

And the children of Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the rest of the children of the captivity, kept the dedication of this house of God with joy,

Und die Kinder Israel, die Priester und die Leviten und die übrigen Kinder der Wegführung, feierten die Einweihung dieses Hauses Gottes mit Freuden.

And offered at the dedication of this house of God an hundred bullocks, two hundred rams, four hundred lambs; and for a sin offering for all Israel, twelve he goats, according to the number of the tribes of Israel.

Und sie brachten dar zur Einweihung dieses Hauses Gottes hundert Stiere, zweihundert Widder, vierhundert Lämmer; und zum Sündopfer für ganz Israel zwölf Ziegenböcke, nach der Zahl der Stämme Israels.

And they set the priests in their divisions, and the Levites in their courses, for the service of God, which is at Jerusalem; as it is written in the book of Moses.

Und sie stellten die Priester in ihre Klassen und die Leviten in ihre Abteilungen zum Dienste Gottes in Jerusalem, nach der Vorschrift des Buches Moses.

And the children of the captivity kept the passover upon the fourteenth day of the first month.

Und die Kinder der Wegführung feierten das Passah am vierzehnten Tage des ersten Monats.

For the priests and the Levites were purified together, all of them were pure, and killed the passover for all the children of the captivity, and for their brethren the priests, and for themselves.

Denn die Priester und die Leviten hatten sich gereinigt wie ein Mann; sie waren alle rein. Und sie schlachteten das Passah für alle Kinder der Wegführung und für ihre Brüder, die Priester, und für sich selbst.

And the children of Israel, which were come again out of captivity, and all such as had separated themselves unto them from the filthiness of the heathen of the land, to seek the LORD God of Israel, did eat,

Und die Kinder Israel, welche aus der Wegführung zurückgekehrt waren, und ein jeder, der sich von der Unreinigkeit der Nationen des Landes zu ihnen abgesondert hatte, um Jehova, den Gott Israels, zu suchen, aßen das Passah.

And kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with joy: for the LORD had made them joyful, and turned the heart of the king of Assyria unto them, to strengthen their hands in the work of the house of God, the God of Israel.

Und sie feierten das Fest der ungesäuerten Brote sieben Tage mit Freuden; denn Jehova hatte ihnen Freude gegeben und ihnen das Herz des Königs von Assyrien zugewandt, so daß er ihre Hände stärkte in dem Werke des Hauses Gottes, des Gottes Israels.
