Psalms 43

Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation: O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man.

ای خدای من، در برابر مردم بی‌رحم از من دفاع کن و بی‌گناهی مرا اعلام نما، مرا از دست مردم شریر و دروغگو برهان.

For thou art the God of my strength: why dost thou cast me off? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?

خدایا، تو پناهگاه من هستی. چرا رهایم کرده‌ای؟ چرا از دست ظلم دشمنان همیشه رنج بکشم؟

O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles.

نور و راستی خود را بفرست تا راهنمای من باشند و مرا به کوه مقدّس که بارگاه توست برسانند.

Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God my God.

آنگاه در برابر قربانگاه تو خواهم ایستاد و برای تو ای خدا، خدای من که سرچشمهٔ شادی هستی، با بربط خواهم نواخت و سرود شکرگزاری خواهم سرایید.

Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.

ای جان من چرا افسرده و غمگین هستی؟ بر خدا امید داشته باش زیرا که دوباره او را ستایش خواهی کرد، چون او خدای من و مددکار من است.
