Esther 8

On that day did the king Ahasuerus give the house of Haman the Jews' enemy unto Esther the queen. And Mordecai came before the king; for Esther had told what he was unto her.

В същия ден цар Асуир даде на царица Естир дома на Аман, притеснителя на юдеите. И Мардохей дойде пред царя, защото Естир му беше открила какъв й е той.

And the king took off his ring, which he had taken from Haman, and gave it unto Mordecai. And Esther set Mordecai over the house of Haman.

И царят извади пръстена си, който беше взел от Аман, и го даде на Мардохей. А Естир постави Мардохей над дома на Аман.

And Esther spake yet again before the king, and fell down at his feet, and besought him with tears to put away the mischief of Haman the Agagite, and his device that he had devised against the Jews.

И Естир говори отново пред царя и падна в краката му, и го моли със сълзи да отвърне злото на агагеца Аман и замисъла, който беше замислил против юдеите.

Then the king held out the golden sceptre toward Esther. So Esther arose, and stood before the king,

И царят простря към Естир златния скиптър. Тогава Естир се изправи и застана пред царя, и каза:

And said, If it please the king, and if I have found favour in his sight, and the thing seem right before the king, and I be pleasing in his eyes, let it be written to reverse the letters devised by Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, which he wrote to destroy the Jews which are in all the king's provinces:

Ако е угодно на царя и ако съм придобила неговото благоволение, и това се вижда право на царя, и ако съм му угодна, нека се напише да се отменят писмата, замисъла на агагеца Аман, сина на Амидата, които той писа, за да се унищожат юдеите, които са по всичките царски области,

For how can I endure to see the evil that shall come unto my people? or how can I endure to see the destruction of my kindred?

защото как бих могла да гледам злото, което ще сполети народа ми? И как бих могла да гледам унищожението на рода си?

Then the king Ahasuerus said unto Esther the queen and to Mordecai the Jew, Behold, I have given Esther the house of Haman, and him they have hanged upon the gallows, because he laid his hand upon the Jews.

И цар Асуир каза на царица Естир и на юдеина Мардохей: Ето, дадох на Естир дома на Аман, а него обесиха на бесилката, защото вдигна ръката си против юдеите.

Write ye also for the Jews, as it liketh you, in the king's name, and seal it with the king's ring: for the writing which is written in the king's name, and sealed with the king's ring, may no man reverse.

Сега вие пишете по отношение на юдеите, каквото ви се вижда добро, в името на царя, и го подпечатайте с царския пръстен, защото писмо, писано в името на царя и подпечатано с царския пръстен, не може да се отмени.

Then were the king's scribes called at that time in the third month, that is, the month Sivan, on the three and twentieth day thereof; and it was written according to all that Mordecai commanded unto the Jews, and to the lieutenants, and the deputies and rulers of the provinces which are from India unto Ethiopia, an hundred twenty and seven provinces, unto every province according to the writing thereof, and unto every people after their language, and to the Jews according to their writing, and according to their language.

Тогава, в онова време, на двадесет и третия ден от третия месец, който е месец Сиван, повикаха царските писари и се писа точно според това, което заповяда Мардохей, на юдеите и на сатрапите, и на областните управители, и на началниците на областите, от Индия до Етиопия, сто двадесет и седем области; на всяка област според писмеността й и на всеки народ според езика му, и на юдеите според писмеността им и според езика им.

And he wrote in the king Ahasuerus' name, and sealed it with the king's ring, and sent letters by posts on horseback, and riders on mules, camels, and young dromedaries:

И Мардохей писа в името на цар Асуир и подпечата с царския пръстен, и изпрати писмата с бързоходци, конници, които яздеха на бързи коне, употребявани в царската служба, от отбрани кобили,

Wherein the king granted the Jews which were in every city to gather themselves together, and to stand for their life, to destroy, to slay, and to cause to perish, all the power of the people and province that would assault them, both little ones and women, and to take the spoil of them for a prey,

писма, чрез които царят разрешаваше на юдеите, които са във всеки град, да се съберат и да защитят живота си, да изтребят, да избият и да унищожат всичките сили на онзи народ и на онази област, които биха ги нападнали, и децата и жените им, и да разграбят имота им;

Upon one day in all the provinces of king Ahasuerus, namely, upon the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, which is the month Adar.

в един ден по всичките области на цар Асуир, на тринадесетия ден от дванадесетия месец, който е месец Адар.

The copy of the writing for a commandment to be given in every province was published unto all people, and that the Jews should be ready against that day to avenge themselves on their enemies.

И за да се издаде заповедта във всяка област, преписът от писмото се оповести между всичките народи, за да бъдат юдеите готови за онзи ден, за да отмъстят на враговете си.

So the posts that rode upon mules and camels went out, being hastened and pressed on by the king's commandment. And the decree was given at Shushan the palace.

Бързоходците, които яздеха на бързи коне, употребявани в царската служба, излязоха бързо, принудени от царската заповед. Разпоредбата се издаде в крепостта Суса.

And Mordecai went out from the presence of the king in royal apparel of blue and white, and with a great crown of gold, and with a garment of fine linen and purple: and the city of Shushan rejoiced and was glad.

А Мардохей излезе от присъствието на царя в царско облекло от син и бял памук и с голяма златна корона, и с наметало от висон и пурпур. А градът Суса ликуваше и се веселеше.

The Jews had light, and gladness, and joy, and honour.

И юдеите имаха светлина и веселие, и радост, и почест.

And in every province, and in every city, whithersoever the king's commandment and his decree came, the Jews had joy and gladness, a feast and a good day. And many of the people of the land became Jews; for the fear of the Jews fell upon them.

И във всяка област и във всеки град, навсякъде, където стигна заповедта на царя и разпоредбата му, имаше веселие и радост за юдеите, пируване и празник. И мнозина от народите на земята станаха юдеи, защото ги обзе страх от юдеите.
