Psalms 27

Ðức Giê-hô-va là ánh sáng và là sự cứu rỗi tôi: Tôi sẽ sợ ai? Ðức Giê-hô-va là đồn lũy của mạng sống tôi: Tôi sẽ hãi hùng ai?

The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Khi kẻ làm ác, kẻ cừu địch và thù nghịch tôi, xông vào tôi, Ðặng ăn nuốt thịt tôi, Thì chúng nó đều vấp ngã.

When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.

Dầu một đạo binh đóng đối cùng tôi, Lòng tôi sẽ chẳng sợ; Dầu giặc giã dấy nghịch cùng tôi, Khi ấy tôi cũng có lòng tin cậy vững bền.

Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.

Tôi đã xin Ðức Giê-hô-va một điều, và sẽ tìm kiếm điều ấy! Ấy là tôi muốn trọn đời được ở trong nhà Ðức Giê-hô-va, Ðể nhìn xem sự tốt đẹp của Ðức Giê-hô-va, Và cầu hỏi trong đền của Ngài.

One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.

Vì trong ngày tai họa, Ngài sẽ che khuất tôi trong lều Ngài, Giấu tôi nơi kín mật của trại Ngài; Cũng sẽ đỡ tôi lên trên một hòn đá.

For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.

Bây giờ đầu tôi sẽ được ngước cao hơn các kẻ thù nghịch vây quanh tôi; Trong trại Ngài tôi sẽ dâng của lễ bằng sự vui vẻ; Tôi sẽ hát mừng, và ca tụng Ðức Giê-hô-va.

And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.

Hỡi Ðức Giê-hô-va, xin hãy nghe; tiếng tôi kêu cầu cùng Ngài: hãy thương xót tôi, và nhậm lời tôi.

Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me.

Khi Chúa phán rằng: Các ngươi hãy tim mặt ta; Thì lòng tôi thưa cùng Chúa rằng: Ðức Giê-hô-va ôi! tôi sẽ tìm mặt Ngài.

When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek.

Hỡi Ðức Chúa Trời về sự cứu rỗi tôi, Xin chớ ẩn mặt Chúa với tôi, Chớ xô đuổi kẻ tôi tớ Chúa trong khi Chúa nổi giận. Khi trước Chúa là sự tiếp trợ tôi, xin chớ lìa tôi, chớ bỏ tôi.

Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.

Khi cha mẹ bỏ tôi đi, Thì Ðức Giê-hô-va sẽ tiếp nhận tôi.

When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.

Hỡi Ðức Giê-hô-va, xin chỉ dạy tôi con đường Ngài; Nhơn vì các kẻ thù nghịch tôi, Xin hỡi dẫn tôi vào lối bằng thẳng.

Teach me thy way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies.

Chớ phó tôi cho ý muốn kẻ cừu địch tôi; Vì những chứng dối, Và kẻ buông ra sự hung bạo, đã dấy nghịch cùng tôi.

Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty.

Ôi! Nếu tôi không tin chắc rằng sẽ thấy ơn của Ðức Giê-hô-va tại đất kẻ sống, Thì tôi hẳn đã ngã lòng rồi!

I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.

Hãy trông đợi Ðức Giê-hô-va; Hãy vững lòng bền chí! Phải, hãy trông đợi Ðức Giê-hô-va.

Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
