Psalms 2

Δια τι εφρυαξαν τα εθνη και οι λαοι εμελετησαν ματαια;

Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

Παρεσταθησαν οι βασιλεις της γης, και οι αρχοντες συνηχθησαν ομου, κατα του Κυριου, και κατα του χριστου αυτου, λεγοντες,

The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,

Ας διασπασωμεν τους δεσμους αυτων, και ας απορριψωμεν αφ ημων τας αλυσεις αυτων.

Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

Ο καθημενος εν ουρανοις θελει γελασει ο Κυριος θελει εκμυκτηρισει αυτους.

He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.

Τοτε θελει λαλησει προς αυτους εν τη οργη αυτου, και εν τω θυμω αυτου θελει συνταραξει αυτους.

Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.

Αλλ εγω, θελει ειπει, εχρισα τον Βασιλεα μου επι Σιων, το ορος το αγιον μου.

Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.

Εγω θελω αναγγειλει το προσταγμα ο Κυριος ειπε προς εμε, Υιος μου εισαι συ εγω σημερον σε εγεννησα

I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.

Ζητησον παρ εμου, και θελω σοι δωσει τα εθνη κληρονομιαν σου, και ιδιοκτησιαν σου τα περατα της γης

Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

θελεις ποιμανει αυτους εν ραβδω σιδηρα ως σκευος κεραμεως θελεις συντριψει αυτους.

Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.

Τωρα λοιπον, βασιλεις, συνετισθητε διδαχθητε, κριται της γης.

Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.

Δουλευετε τον Κυριον εν φοβω και αγαλλεσθε εν τρομω.

Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

Φιλειτε τον Υιον, μηποτε οργισθη, και απολεσθητε εκ της οδου, οταν εξαφθη ταχεως ο θυμος αυτου. Μακαριοι παντες οι πεποιθοτες επ αυτον.

Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.
