Και μετα την πληγην ελαλησε Κυριος προς τον Μωυσην και προς τον Ελεαζαρ τον υιον του Ααρων τον ιερεα, λεγων,

And it came to pass after the plague, that the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, saying,

Λαβετε το κεφαλαιον πασης της συναγωγης των υιων Ισραηλ απο εικοσι ετων και επανω, κατα τους οικους των πατερων αυτων, παντας τους δυναμενους εν τω Ισραηλ να εξελθωσιν εις πολεμον.

Take the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, from twenty years old and upward, throughout their fathers' house, all that are able to go to war in Israel.

Και ελαλησαν ο Μωυσης και Ελεαζαρ ο ιερευς προς αυτους εις τας πεδιαδας Μωαβ παρα τον Ιορδανην, κατεναντι της Ιεριχω, λεγοντες,

And Moses and Eleazar the priest spake with them in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho, saying,

Αριθμησατε αυτους απο εικοσι ετων και επανω, καθως προσεταξε Κυριος εις τον Μωυσην και εις τους υιους Ισραηλ, τους εξελθοντας εκ γης Αιγυπτου.

Take the sum of the people, from twenty years old and upward; as the LORD commanded Moses and the children of Israel, which went forth out of the land of Egypt.

Ρουβην, ο πρωτοτοκος του Ισραηλ οι υιοι Ρουβην ησαν Ανωχ, εξ ου η συγγενεια των Ανωχιτων εκ Φαλλου, η συγγενεια των Φαλλουιτων

Reuben, the eldest son of Israel: the children of Reuben; Hanoch, of whom cometh the family of the Hanochites: of Pallu, the family of the Palluites:

εξ Εσρων, η συγγενεια των Εσρωνιτων εκ του Χαρμι, η συγγενεια των Χαρμιτων.

Of Hezron, the family of the Hezronites: of Carmi, the family of the Carmites.

Αυται ειναι αι συγγενειαι των Ρουβηνιτων και η απαριθμησις αυτων ητο τεσσαρακοντα τρεις χιλιαδες και επτακοσιοι τριακοντα.

These are the families of the Reubenites: and they that were numbered of them were forty and three thousand and seven hundred and thirty.

και οι υιοι του Φαλλου ησαν Ελιαβ

And the sons of Pallu; Eliab.

και οι υιοι του Ελιαβ, Νεμουηλ και Δαθαν και Αβειρων. Ουτοι ειναι ο Δαθαν και ο Αβειρων, οι ονομαστοι εκεινοι εν τη συναγωγη, οι στασιασαντες κατα του Μωυσεως και κατα του Ααρων εν τη συνοδια του Κορε, οτε εστασιασαν κατα του Κυριου

And the sons of Eliab; Nemuel, and Dathan, and Abiram. This is that Dathan and Abiram, which were famous in the congregation, who strove against Moses and against Aaron in the company of Korah, when they strove against the LORD:

και ηνοιξεν η γη το στομα αυτης και κατεπιεν αυτους μετα του Κορε, εν τω εξολοθρευμω της συνοδιας αυτου, οτε το πυρ κατεφαγε τους διακοσιους πεντηκοντα ανθρωπους και εγειναν εις σημειον

And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up together with Korah, when that company died, what time the fire devoured two hundred and fifty men: and they became a sign.

του Κορε ομως οι υιοι δεν απεθανον.

Notwithstanding the children of Korah died not.

Οι υιοι Συμεων κατα τας οικογενειας αυτων ησαν, εκ Νεμουηλ, η συγγενεια των Νεμουηλιτων εξ Ιαμειν, η συγγενεια των Ιαμεινιτων εξ Ιαχειν, η συγγενεια των Ιαχεινιτων

The sons of Simeon after their families: of Nemuel, the family of the Nemuelites: of Jamin, the family of the Jaminites: of Jachin, the family of the Jachinites:

εκ Ζερα, η συγγενεια των Ζεριτων εκ Σαουλ, η συγγενεια των Σαουλιτων.

Of Zerah, the family of the Zarhites: of Shaul, the family of the Shaulites.

Αυται ειναι αι συγγενειαι των Συμεωνιτων κατα την απαριθμησιν αυτων, εικοσιδυο χιλιαδες και διακοσιοι.

These are the families of the Simeonites, twenty and two thousand and two hundred.

Οι υιοι Γαδ κατα τας συγγενειας αυτων ησαν, εκ του Σιφων, η συγγενεια των Σιφωνιτων εξ Αγγι, η συγγενεια των Αγγιτων εκ Σουνι, η συγγενεια των Σουνιτων

The children of Gad after their families: of Zephon, the family of the Zephonites: of Haggi, the family of the Haggites: of Shuni, the family of the Shunites:

εξ Αζενι, η συγγενεια των Αζενιτων εξ Ηρι, η συγγενεια των Ηριτων

Of Ozni, the family of the Oznites: of Eri, the family of the Erites:

εξ Αροδ, η συγγενεια των Αροδιτων εξ Αριηλι, η συγγενεια των Αριηλιτων.

Of Arod, the family of the Arodites: of Areli, the family of the Arelites.

Αυται ειναι αι συγγενειαι των υιων Γαδ κατα την απαριθμησιν αυτων, τεσσαρακοντα χιλιαδες και πεντακοσιοι.

These are the families of the children of Gad according to those that were numbered of them, forty thousand and five hundred.

Οι υιοι Ιουδα ησαν Ηρ και Αυναν και απεθανον ο Ηρ και ο Αυναν εν τη γη Χανααν.

The sons of Judah were Er and Onan: and Er and Onan died in the land of Canaan.

Και οι υιοι Ιουδα κατα τας συγγενειας αυτων ησαν, εκ Σηλα, η συγγενεια των Σηλανιτων εκ Φαρες, η συγγενεια των Φαρεσιτων εκ Ζαρα, η συγγενεια των Ζαριτων

And the sons of Judah after their families were; of Shelah, the family of the Shelanites: of Pharez, the family of the Pharzites: of Zerah, the family of the Zarhites.

και οι υιοι Φαρες ησαν εξ Εσρων, η συγγενεια των Εσρωνιτων εξ Αμουλ, η συγγενεια των Αμουλιτων.

And the sons of Pharez were; of Hezron, the family of the Hezronites: of Hamul, the family of the Hamulites.

Αυται ειναι αι συγγενειαι Ιουδα κατα την απαριθμησιν αυτων, εβδομηκοντα εξ χιλιαδες και πεντακοσιοι.

These are the families of Judah according to those that were numbered of them, threescore and sixteen thousand and five hundred.

Οι υιοι Ισσαχαρ κατα τας συγγενειας αυτων ησαν, εκ Θωλα, συγγενεια των Θωλαιτων εκ Φουα, η συγγενεια των Φουνιτων

Of the sons of Issachar after their families: of Tola, the family of the Tolaites: of Pua, the family of the Punites:

εξ Ιασουβ, η συγγενεια των Ιασουβιτων εκ Σιμβρων, η συγγενεια των Σιμβρωνιτων.

Of Jashub, the family of the Jashubites: of Shimron, the family of the Shimronites.

Αυται ειναι αι συγγενειαι Ισσαχαρ κατα την απαριθμησιν αυτων, εξηκοντα τεσσαρες χιλιαδες και τριακοσιοι.

These are the families of Issachar according to those that were numbered of them, threescore and four thousand and three hundred.

Οι υιοι Ζαβουλων κατα τας συγγενειας αυτων ησαν, εκ Σερεδ, συγγενεια των Σερεδιτων εξ Αιλων, η συγγενεια των Αιλωνιτων εξ Ιαλεηλ, η συγγενεια των Ιαλεηλιτων.

Of the sons of Zebulun after their families: of Sered, the family of the Sardites: of Elon, the family of the Elonites: of Jahleel, the family of the Jahleelites.

Αυται ειναι αι συγγενειαι των Ζαβουλωνιτων κατα την απαριθμησιν αυτων, εξηκοντα χιλιαδες και πεντακοσιοι.

These are the families of the Zebulunites according to those that were numbered of them, threescore thousand and five hundred.

Οι υιοι Ιωσηφ κατα τας συγγενειας αυτων ησαν Μανασσης και Εφραιμ.

The sons of Joseph after their families were Manasseh and Ephraim.

Οι υιοι Μανασση ησαν, εκ Μαχειρ, η συγγενεια των Μαχειριτων. Και ο Μαχειρ εγεννησε τον Γαλααδ εκ δε του Γαλααδ η συγγενεια των Γαλααδιτων

Of the sons of Manasseh: of Machir, the family of the Machirites: and Machir begat Gilead: of Gilead come the family of the Gileadites.

ουτοι ειναι οι υιοι Γαλααδ εξ Αχιεζερ, η συγγενεια των Αχιεζεριτων εκ Χελεκ, η συγγενεια των Χελεκιτων

These are the sons of Gilead: of Jeezer, the family of the Jeezerites: of Helek, the family of the Helekites:

και εξ Ασριηλ, η συγγενεια των Ασριηλιτων εκ Συχεμ, η συγγενεια των Συχεμιτων και εκ Σεμιδα, η συγγενεια των Σεμιδαιτων

And of Asriel, the family of the Asrielites: and of Shechem, the family of the Shechemites:

και εξ Εφερ, η συγγενεια των Εφεριτων

And of Shemida, the family of the Shemidaites: and of Hepher, the family of the Hepherites.

και Σαλπααδ, ο υιος του Εφερ, δεν ειχεν υιους, αλλα θυγατερας τα δε ονοματα των θυγατερων του Σαλπααδ ησαν Μααλα και Νουα, Αγλα, Μελχα και Θερσα.

And Zelophehad the son of Hepher had no sons, but daughters: and the names of the daughters of Zelophehad were Mahlah, and Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.

Αυται ειναι αι συγγενειαι Μανασση και η απαριθμησις αυτων, πεντηκοντα δυο χιλιαδες και επτακοσιοι.

These are the families of Manasseh, and those that were numbered of them, fifty and two thousand and seven hundred.

Ουτοι ειναι οι υιοι Εφραιμ κατα τας συγγενειας αυτων εκ Σουθαλα, η συγγενεια των Σουθαλαιτων εκ Βεχερ, η συγγενεια των Βεχεριτων εκ Ταχαν, η συγγενεια των Ταχανιτων

These are the sons of Ephraim after their families: of Shuthelah, the family of the Shuthalhites: of Becher, the family of the Bachrites: of Tahan, the family of the Tahanites.

και ουτοι ειναι οι υιοι Σουθαλα εξ Εραν, η συγγενεια των Ερανιτων.

And these are the sons of Shuthelah: of Eran, the family of the Eranites.

Αυται ειναι αι συγγενειαι των υιων Εφραιμ κατα την απαριθμησιν αυτων, τριακοντα δυο χιλιαδες και πεντακοσιοι. Ουτοι ειναι οι υιοι Ιωσηφ κατα τας συγγενειας αυτων.

These are the families of the sons of Ephraim according to those that were numbered of them, thirty and two thousand and five hundred. These are the sons of Joseph after their families.

Οι υιοι Βενιαμιν κατα τας συγγενειας αυτων ησαν, εκ Βελα, η συγγενεια των Βελαιτων εξ Ασβηλ, η συγγενεια των Ασβηλιτων εξ Αχιραμ, η συγγενεια των Αχιραμιτων

The sons of Benjamin after their families: of Bela, the family of the Belaites: of Ashbel, the family of the Ashbelites: of Ahiram, the family of the Ahiramites:

εκ Σουφαμ, η συγγενεια των Σουφαμιτων εξ Ουφαμ, η συγγενεια των Ουφαμιτων

Of Shupham, the family of the Shuphamites: of Hupham, the family of the Huphamites.

και οι υιοι Βελα ησαν Αρεδ και Νααμαν εξ Αρεδ, η συγγενεια των Αρεδιτων εκ Νααμαν, συγγενεια των Νααμιτων.

And the sons of Bela were Ard and Naaman: of Ard, the family of the Ardites: and of Naaman, the family of the Naamites.

Ουτοι ειναι οι υιοι Βενιαμιν κατα τας συγγενειας αυτων και η απαριθμησις αυτων ητο τεσσαρακοντα πεντε χιλιαδες και εξακοσιοι.

These are the sons of Benjamin after their families: and they that were numbered of them were forty and five thousand and six hundred.

Ουτοι ειναι οι υιοι Δαν κατα τας συγγενειας αυτων εκ Σουαμ, η συγγενεια των Σουαμιτων αυται ειναι αι συγγενειαι Δαν κατα τας συγγενειας αυτων

These are the sons of Dan after their families: of Shuham, the family of the Shuhamites. These are the families of Dan after their families.

πασαι αι συγγενειαι των Σουαμιτων, κατα την απαριθμησιν αυτων, ησαν εξηκοντα τεσσαρες χιλιαδες και τετρακοσιοι.

All the families of the Shuhamites, according to those that were numbered of them, were threescore and four thousand and four hundred.

Οι υιοι Ασηρ κατα τας συγγενειας αυτων ησαν, εξ Ιεμνα, η συγγενεια των Ιεμνιτων εξ Ιεσουι, η συγγενεια των Ιεσουιτων εκ Βερια, η συγγενεια των Βεριαιτων

Of the children of Asher after their families: of Jimna, the family of the Jimnites: of Jesui, the family of the Jesuites: of Beriah, the family of the Beriites.

εκ των υιων Βερια ησαν, εξ Εβερ, η συγγενεια των Εβεριτων εκ Μαλχιηλ, η συγγενεια των Μαλχιηλιτων

Of the sons of Beriah: of Heber, the family of the Heberites: of Malchiel, the family of the Malchielites.

και το ονομα της θυγατρος του Ασηρ ητο Σαρα.

And the name of the daughter of Asher was Sarah.

Αυται ειναι αι συγγενειαι των υιων Ασηρ κατα την απαριθμησιν αυτων, πεντηκοντα τρεις χιλιαδες και τετρακοσιοι.

These are the families of the sons of Asher according to those that were numbered of them; who were fifty and three thousand and four hundred.

Οι υιοι Νεφθαλι κατα τας συγγενειας αυτων ησαν, εξ Ιασιηλ, συγγενεια των Ιασιηλιτων εκ Γουνι, η συγγενεια των Γουνιτων

Of the sons of Naphtali after their families: of Jahzeel, the family of the Jahzeelites: of Guni, the family of the Gunites:

εξ Ιεσερ, η συγγενεια των Ιεσεριτων εκ Σιλλημ, η συγγενεια των Σιλλημιτων.

Of Jezer, the family of the Jezerites: of Shillem, the family of the Shillemites.

Αυται ειναι αι συγγενειαι Νεφθαλι κατα τας συγγενειας αυτων και απαριθμησις αυτων ητο τεσσαρακοντα πεντε χιλιαδες και τετρακοσιοι.

These are the families of Naphtali according to their families: and they that were numbered of them were forty and five thousand and four hundred.

Αυτη ειναι η απαριθμησις των υιων Ισραηλ, εξακοσιαι χιλιαδες και χιλιοι επτακοσιοι τριακοντα.

These were the numbered of the children of Israel, six hundred thousand and a thousand seven hundred and thirty.

Και ελαλησε Κυριος προς τον Μωυσην, λεγων,

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

Εις τουτους θελει μοιρασθη η γη εις κληρονομιαν κατα τον αριθμον των ονοματων αυτων

Unto these the land shall be divided for an inheritance according to the number of names.

εις τους περισσοτερους θελεις δωσει περισσοτεραν κληρονομιαν και εις τους ολιγωτερους θελεις δωσει ολιγωτεραν κληρονομιαν εις εκαστον θελει δοθη κληρονομια αυτου κατα την απαριθμησιν αυτου

To many thou shalt give the more inheritance, and to few thou shalt give the less inheritance: to every one shall his inheritance be given according to those that were numbered of him.

και η γη θελει μοιρασθη δια κληρων κατα τα ονοματα των φυλων, κατα τας πατριας αυτων, θελουσι κληρονομησει

Notwithstanding the land shall be divided by lot: according to the names of the tribes of their fathers they shall inherit.

κατα τον κληρον θελει μοιρασθη η κληρονομια αυτων μεταξυ πολλων και ολιγων.

According to the lot shall the possession thereof be divided between many and few.

Και αυτη ειναι η απαριθμησις των Λευιτων, κατα τας συγγενειας αυτων εκ Γηρσων, η συγγενεια των Γηρσωνιτων εκ Κααθ, η συγγενεια των Κααθιτων εκ Μεραρι, η συγγενεια των Μεραριτων.

And these are they that were numbered of the Levites after their families: of Gershon, the family of the Gershonites: of Kohath, the family of the Kohathites: of Merari, the family of the Merarites.

Αυται ειναι αι συγγενειαι των Λευιτων η συγγενεια των Λιβνιτων, η συγγενεια των Χεβρωνιτων, η συγγενεια των Μααλιτων, συγγενεια των Μουσιτων, η συγγενεια των Κοραιτων και ο Κααθ εγεννησε τον Αμραμ.

These are the families of the Levites: the family of the Libnites, the family of the Hebronites, the family of the Mahlites, the family of the Mushites, the family of the Korathites. And Kohath begat Amram.

Το δε ονομα της γυναικος του Αμραμ ητο Ιωχαβεδ, θυγατηρ του Λευι, ητις εγεννηθη εις τον Λευι εν Αιγυπτω και εγεννησεν εις τον Αμραμ τον Ααρων και τον Μωυσην και Μαριαμ την αδελφην αυτων.

And the name of Amram's wife was Jochebed, the daughter of Levi, whom her mother bare to Levi in Egypt: and she bare unto Amram Aaron and Moses, and Miriam their sister.

Και εγεννηθησαν εις τον Ααρων Ναδαβ και Αβιουδ, Ελεαζαρ και Ιθαμαρ.

And unto Aaron was born Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

Απεθανον δε ο Ναδαβ και ο Αβιουδ, οτε προσεφεραν πυρ ξενον ενωπιον του Κυριου.

And Nadab and Abihu died, when they offered strange fire before the LORD.

Και η απαριθμησις αυτων ητο εικοσιτρεις χιλιαδες, παν αρσενικον απο ενος μηνος και επανω διοτι δεν απηριθμηθησαν μεταξυ των υιων Ισραηλ, επειδη δεν εδοθη εις αυτους κληρονομια μεταξυ των υιων Ισραηλ.

And those that were numbered of them were twenty and three thousand, all males from a month old and upward: for they were not numbered among the children of Israel, because there was no inheritance given them among the children of Israel.

Ουτοι ειναι οι απαριθμηθεντες δια του Μωυσεως και Ελεαζαρ του ιερεως, οιτινες απηριθμησαν τους υιους Ισραηλ εις τας πεδιαδας Μωαβ παρα τον Ιορδανην κατεναντι της Ιεριχω.

These are they that were numbered by Moses and Eleazar the priest, who numbered the children of Israel in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho.

Μεταξυ δε τουτων δεν ευρισκετο ανθρωπος εκ των απαριθμηθεντων υπο του Μωυσεως και Ααρων του ιερεως, οτε απηριθμησαν τους υιους Ισραηλ εν τη ερημω Σινα.

But among these there was not a man of them whom Moses and Aaron the priest numbered, when they numbered the children of Israel in the wilderness of Sinai.

Διοτι ο Κυριος ειπε περι αυτων, Εξαπαντος θελουσιν αποθανει εν τη ερημω. Και δεν εναπελειφθη εξ αυτων ουδεις, ει μη Χαλεβ ο υιος του Ιεφοννη και Ιησους ο υιος του Ναυη.

For the LORD had said of them, They shall surely die in the wilderness. And there was not left a man of them, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.
