Deuteronomy 24

Οταν τις λαβη γυναικα και νυμφευθη μετ αυτης, και συμβη να μη ευρη χαριν εις τους οφθαλμους αυτου, διοτι ευρηκεν εν αυτη ασχημον πραγμα, τοτε ας γραψη εις αυτην γραμμα διαζυγιου, και ας δωση αυτο εις την χειρα αυτης, και ας αποπεμψη αυτην εκ της οικιας αυτου.

When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house.

Και αφου αναχωρηση απο της οικιας αυτου, δυναται να υπαγη και να συζευχθη μετα αλλου ανδρος.

And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man's wife.

Και εαν ο δευτερος ανηρ αυτης μισηση αυτην και γραψη εις αυτην γραμμα διαζυγιου και δωση αυτο εις την χειρα αυτης, και αποπεμψη αυτην απο της οικιας αυτου, η εαν αποθανη ο δευτερος ανηρ, ο λαβων αυτην εις γυναικα αυτου,

And if the latter husband hate her, and write her a bill of divorcement, and giveth it in her hand, and sendeth her out of his house; or if the latter husband die, which took her to be his wife;

ο πρωτος αυτης ανηρ, ο αποπεμψας αυτην, δεν δυναται να λαβη αυτην παλιν εις εαυτον γυναικα, αφου εμολυνθη διοτι ειναι βδελυγμα ενωπιον του Κυριου και δεν θελεις επιφερει αμαρτιαν εις την γην, την οποιαν Κυριος ο Θεος σου διδει εις σε κληρονομιαν.

Her former husband, which sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife, after that she is defiled; for that is abomination before the LORD: and thou shalt not cause the land to sin, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.

Εαν τις νεωστι λαβη γυναικα, δεν θελει εξελθει εις πολεμον, και δεν θελει επιφορτισθη επ αυτον ουδεν αλλα ελευθερος θελει εισθαι εν τη οικια αυτου εν ετος, και θελει ευφρανει την γυναικα αυτου την οποιαν ελαβε.

When a man hath taken a new wife, he shall not go out to war, neither shall he be charged with any business: but he shall be free at home one year, and shall cheer up his wife which he hath taken.

Δεν θελει λαβει ουδεις εις ενεχυρον την ανω ουδε την κατω πετραν του μυλου διοτι ζωην λαμβανει εις ενεχυρον.

No man shall take the nether or the upper millstone to pledge: for he taketh a man's life to pledge.

Εαν τις φωραθη κλεπτων τινα εκ των αδελφων αυτου εκ των υιων Ισραηλ, και καταδουλωσας αυτον επωλησε, τοτε ο κλεπτης ουτος θελει θανατονεσθαι και θελεις εξαφανισει το κακον εκ μεσου σου.

If a man be found stealing any of his brethren of the children of Israel, and maketh merchandise of him, or selleth him; then that thief shall die; and thou shalt put evil away from among you.

Προσεχε εις την πληγην της λεπρας, να φυλαττης επιμελως και να καμνης κατα παντα οσα οι ιερεις οι Λευιται σας διδαξωσι καθως προσεταξα εις αυτους, θελετε προσεχει να καμνητε.

Take heed in the plague of leprosy, that thou observe diligently, and do according to all that the priests the Levites shall teach you: as I commanded them, so ye shall observe to do.

Ενθυμου τι εκαμεν εις την Μαριαμ Κυριος ο Θεος σου καθ οδον, αφου εξηλθετε εξ Αιγυπτου.

Remember what the LORD thy God did unto Miriam by the way, after that ye were come forth out of Egypt.

Οταν δανεισης τι εις τον πλησιον σου, δεν θελεις εισελθει εις την οικιαν αυτου δια να λαβης το ενεχυρον αυτου

When thou dost lend thy brother any thing, thou shalt not go into his house to fetch his pledge.

εξω θελεις σταθη, και ο ανθρωπος εις τον οποιον δανειζεις θελει εκφερει εις σε το ενεχυρον.

Thou shalt stand abroad, and the man to whom thou dost lend shall bring out the pledge abroad unto thee.

Και εαν ο ανθρωπος ηναι πτωχος, δεν θελεις κοιμηθη μετα του ενεχυρου αυτου

And if the man be poor, thou shalt not sleep with his pledge:

εξαπαντος θελεις αποδωσει εις αυτον το ενεχυρον περι την δυσιν του ηλιου, και θελει κοιμηθη εν τω ιματιω αυτου και θελει σε ευλογησει και θελει εισθαι εις σε δικαιοσυνη ενωπιον Κυριου του Θεου σου.

In any case thou shalt deliver him the pledge again when the sun goeth down, that he may sleep in his own raiment, and bless thee: and it shall be righteousness unto thee before the LORD thy God.

Δεν θελεις αδικησει μισθωτον πτωχον και ενδεη, εκ των αδελφων σου η εκ των ξενων σου των εν τη γη σου, εντος των πυλων σου.

Thou shalt not oppress an hired servant that is poor and needy, whether he be of thy brethren, or of thy strangers that are in thy land within thy gates:

Αυθημερον θελεις δωσει τον μισθον αυτου, πριν δυση ο ηλιος επ αυτον διοτι ειναι πτωχος και εχει την ελπιδα αυτου εις αυτον δια να μη βοηση κατα σου προς Κυριον, και γεινη εις σε αμαρτια.

At his day thou shalt give him his hire, neither shall the sun go down upon it; for he is poor, and setteth his heart upon it: lest he cry against thee unto the LORD, and it be sin unto thee.

Οι πατερες δεν θελουσι θανατονεσθαι δια τα τεκνα, ουτε τα τεκνα θελουσι θανατονεσθαι δια τους πατερας εκαστος θελει θανατονεσθαι δια το ιδιον εαυτου αμαρτημα.

The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.

Δεν θελεις διαστρεφει την κρισιν του ξενου, του ορφανου, ουδε θελεις λαμβανει το ιματιον της χηρας ενεχυρον

Thou shalt not pervert the judgment of the stranger, nor of the fatherless; nor take a widow's raiment to pledge:

αλλα θελεις ενθυμεισθαι οτι δουλος εσταθης εν Αιγυπτω, και σε ελυτρωσε Κυριος ο Θεος σου εκειθεν δια τουτο εγω προσταζω εις σε να καμνης το πραγμα τουτο.

But thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in Egypt, and the LORD thy God redeemed thee thence: therefore I command thee to do this thing.

Οταν θεριζης το θερος σου εν τω αγρω σου, και λησμονησης χειροβολον τι εν τω αγρω, δεν θελεις επιστρεψει δια να λαβης αυτο δια τον ξενον θελει εισθαι, δια τον ορφανον και δια την χηραν δια να σε ευλογη Κυριος ο Θεος σου εις παντα τα εργα των χειρων σου.

When thou cuttest down thine harvest in thy field, and hast forgot a sheaf in the field, thou shalt not go again to fetch it: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow: that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all the work of thine hands.

Αφου τιναξης τας ελαιας σου, δεν θελεις παλιν ελαιολογησει τους κλαδους θελει εισθαι δια τον ξενον, δια τον ορφανον και δια την χηραν.

When thou beatest thine olive tree, thou shalt not go over the boughs again: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow.

Αφου τρυγησης τον αμπελωνα σου, δεν θελεις σταφυλολογησει παλιν θελει εισθαι δια τον ξενον, δια τον ορφανον και δια την χηραν.

When thou gatherest the grapes of thy vineyard, thou shalt not glean it afterward: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow.

Και θελεις ενθυμεισθαι οτι δουλος εσταθης εν γη Αιγυπτου δια τουτο εγω προσταζω εις σε να καμνης το πραγμα τουτο.

And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in the land of Egypt: therefore I command thee to do this thing.
