Psalms 43

Fă-mi dreptate, Dumnezeule, apără-mi pricina împotriva unui neam nemilos! Izbăveşte-mă de oamenii plini de vicleşug şi de fărădelege!

Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation: O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man.

Tu eşti Dumnezeul, care mă ocroteşte: pentruce mă lepezi? Pentruce trebuie să umblu plin de întristare, supt apăsarea vrăjmaşului?

For thou art the God of my strength: why dost thou cast me off? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?

Trimete lumina şi credincioşia Ta, ca să mă călăuzească, şi să mă ducă la muntele Tău cel sfînt şi la locaşurile Tale!

O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles.

Atunci voi merge la altarul lui Dumnezeu, la altarul lui Dumnezeu, care este bucuria şi veselia mea, şi Te voi lăuda cu arfa, Dumnezeule, Dumnezeul meu!

Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God my God.

Pentruce te mîhneşti, suflete, şi gemi înlăuntrul meu? Nădăjduieşte în Dumnezeu, căci iarăş Îl voi lăuda: El este mîntuirea mea şi Dumnezeul meu.

Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.
