II Corinthians 4

Na konei, i te mea kei a matou tenei mahi minita, i te mea ka tohungia nei matou, kahore matou e ngakaukore;

Darum, da wir diesen Dienst haben, wie wir begnadigt worden sind, ermatten wir nicht;

sondern wir haben die verborgenen Dingen der Scham entsagt, indem wir nicht in Arglist wandeln, noch das Wort Gottes verfälschen, sondern durch die Offenbarung der Wahrheit uns selbst jedem Gewissen der Menschen empfehlen vor Gott.

Wenn aber auch unser Evangelium verdeckt ist, so ist es in denen verdeckt, die verloren gehen,

Denn wir predigen nicht uns selbst, sondern Christum Jesum als Herrn, uns selbst aber als eure Knechte um Jesu willen.

Denn der Gott, der aus Finsternis Licht leuchten hieß, ist es, der in unsere Herzen geleuchtet hat zum Lichtglanz der Erkenntnis der Herrlichkeit Gottes im Angesicht Christi.

allezeit das Sterben Jesu am Leibe umhertragend, auf daß auch das Leben Jesu an unserem Leibe offenbar werde.

Denn wir, die wir leben, werden allezeit dem Tode überliefert um Jesu willen, auf daß auch das Leben Jesu an unserem sterblichen Fleische offenbar werde.

So denn wirkt der Tod in uns, das Leben aber in euch.

Da wir aber denselben Geist des Glaubens haben (nach dem, was geschrieben steht: "Ich habe geglaubt, darum habe ich geredet"), so glauben auch wir, darum reden wir auch,

indem wir wissen, daß der, welcher den Herrn Jesus auferweckt hat, auch uns mit Jesu auferwecken und mit euch darstellen wird;

Hei painga hoki ki a koutou na mea katoa, kia waiho ai ma te aroha noa, e whakanuia nei e te tokomaha, e whakawhetai, kia hira rawa ai te kororia o te Atua.

denn alles ist um euretwillen, auf daß die Gnade, überreich geworden durch die Vielen, die Danksagung zur Herrlichkeit Gottes überströmen lasse.

Deshalb ermatten wir nicht, sondern wenn auch unser äußerer Mensch verfällt, so wird doch der innere Tag für Tag erneuert.

Denn das schnell vorübergehende Leichte unserer Drangsal bewirkt uns ein über die Maßen überschwengliches, ewiges Gewicht von Herrlichkeit,

indem wir nicht das anschauen, was man sieht, sondern das, was man nicht sieht; denn das, was man sieht, ist zeitlich, das aber, was man nicht sieht, ewig.
