I John 5

Ko nga tangata katoa e whakapono ana ko Ihu te Karaiti, kua whanau i te Atua: ko nga tangata katoa ano hoki e aroha ana ki te papa, e aroha ana ano ki tana whanau.

Jeder, der da glaubt, daß Jesus der Christus ist, ist aus Gott geboren; und jeder, der den liebt, welcher geboren hat, liebt auch den, der aus ihm geboren ist.

Ma konei tatou ka matau ai e aroha ana tatou ki nga tamariki a te Atua, ma te mea ka aroha tatou ki te Atua, ka pupuri ano i ana ture.

Hieran wissen wir, daß wir die Kinder Gottes lieben, wenn wir Gott lieben und seine Gebote halten.

Ko te aroha hoki tenei ki te Atua, kia pupuri tatou i ana ture: ehara hoki ana ture i te mea taimaha.

Denn dies ist die Liebe Gottes, daß wir seine Gebote halten, und seine Gebote sind nicht schwer.

Ko nga mea katoa hoki kua whanau i te Atua e kaha ana i te ao: ko te wikitoria hoki tenei e taea ai te ao, ko to tatou whakapono.

Denn alles, was aus Gott geboren ist, überwindet die Welt; und dies ist der Sieg, der die Welt überwunden hat: unser Glaube.

Wer ist es, der die Welt überwindet, wenn nicht der, welcher glaubt, daß Jesus der Sohn Gottes ist?

Ko ia tenei i haere mai nei i runga i te wai, i te toto, ko Ihu Karaiti; ehara i te mea i runga i te wai anake, engari i runga i te wai, i te toto. Ko te Wairua hoki te kaiwhakaatu, he pono hoki te Wairua.

Dieser ist es, der gekommen ist durch Wasser und Blut, Jesus, der Christus; nicht durch das Wasser allein, sondern durch das Wasser und das Blut. Und der Geist ist es, der da zeugt, weil der Geist die Wahrheit ist.

Tokotoru hoki nga kaiwhakaatu i te rangi, ko te Matua, ko te Kupu, ko te Wairua Tapu: kotahi ano enei tokotoru.

Denn drei sind, die da zeugen:

Tokotoru hoki nga kaiwhakaatu, i te whenua, ko te Wairua, ko te wai, ko te toto: kotahi ano to ratou tokotoru.

der Geist und das Wasser und das Blut, und die drei sind einstimmig.

Ki te whakaae atu tatou ki ta nga tangata whakaatu, he nui ke ta te Atua whakaatu: ko ta te Atua whakaatu hoki tenei, kua whakaaturia nei e ia mo tana Tama.

Wenn wir das Zeugnis der Menschen annehmen, das Zeugnis Gottes ist größer; denn dies ist das Zeugnis Gottes, welches er gezeugt hat über seinen Sohn.

Wer an den Sohn Gottes glaubt, hat das Zeugnis in sich selbst; wer Gott nicht glaubt, hat ihn zum Lügner gemacht, weil er nicht an das Zeugnis geglaubt hat, welches Gott gezeugt hat über seinen Sohn.

Ko te whakaatu hoki tenei, ara kua homai e te Atua ki a tatou te ora tonu; kei roto ano i tana Tama tenei ora.

Und dies ist das Zeugnis: daß Gott uns ewiges Leben gegeben hat, und dieses Leben ist in seinem Sohne.

Ko te tangata kei a ia te Tama, kei a ia ano te ora; ko te tangata kahore nei i a ia te Tama a te Atua, kahore i a ia te ora.

Wer den Sohn hat, hat das Leben; wer den Sohn Gottes nicht hat, hat das Leben nicht.

Dies habe ich euch geschrieben, auf daß ihr wisset, daß ihr ewiges Leben habt, die ihr glaubet an den Namen des Sohnes Gottes.

Und dies ist die Zuversicht, die wir zu ihm haben, daß, wenn wir etwas nach seinem Willen bitten, er uns hört.

Und wenn wir wissen, daß er uns hört, um was irgend wir bitten, so wissen wir, daß wir die Bitten haben, die wir von ihm erbeten haben.

Wenn jemand seinen Bruder sündigen sieht, eine Sünde nicht zum Tode, so wird er bitten, und er wird ihm das Leben geben, denen, die nicht zum Tode sündigen. Es gibt Sünde zum Tode; nicht für diese sage ich, daß er bitten solle.

He hara nga he katoa: tenei ano tetahi hara ehara nei i te mea e mate ai.

Jede Ungerechtigkeit ist Sünde; und es gibt Sünde, die nicht zum Tode ist.

E matau ana tatou, na, ko te tangata kua whanau ai te Atua kahore e hara; engari ka tiaki te tangata kua whanau i te Atua i a ia ano, e kore hoki te wairua kino e pa ki a ia.

Wir wissen, daß jeder, der aus Gott geboren ist, nicht sündigt; sondern der aus Gott Geborene bewahrt sich, und der Böse tastet ihn nicht an.

Wir wissen, daß wir aus Gott sind, und die ganze Welt liegt in dem Bösen.

Na e matau ana ano tatou kua tae mai te Tama a te Atua, kua homai e ia ki a tatou he matauranga, kia mohio ai tatou ki a ia, ki te mea pono; kei roto ano hoki tatou i a ia, i te mea pono, ara i tana Tama, i a Ihu Karaiti. Ko te Atua pono tenei, ko te ora tonu.

Wir wissen aber, daß der Sohn Gottes gekommen ist und uns ein Verständnis gegeben hat, auf daß wir den Wahrhaftigen kennen; und wir sind in dem Wahrhaftigen, in seinem Sohne Jesu Christo. Dieser ist der wahrhaftige Gott und das ewige Leben.
