Fihirana fiakarana. Nataon'i Davida. Jehovah ô, tsy nirehareha ny foko, ary tsy niandranandrana ny masoko: Ary tsy nisaintsaina izay zavatra ambony loatra aho, Na izay saro-pantarina tsy takatro.

LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.

Fa nampionona sy nampangina ny fanahiko aho; Tahaka ny zaza efa maoty eo amin-dreniny. Dia tahaka Izany ny fanahiko ato anatiko.

Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.

Ry Isiraely ô, manantenà an'i Jehovah Hatramin'izao ka ho mandrakizay.

Let Israel hope in the LORD from henceforth and for ever.
