Philippians 1

Paoly sy Timoty, mpanompon'i Kristy Jesosy, mamangy ny olona masina rehetra ao amin'i Kristy Jesosy mbamin'ny mpitandrina sy ny diakona izay any Filipy;

Paul and Timotheus, the servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus which are at Philippi, with the bishops and deacons:

ho aminareo anie ny fahasoavana sy ny fiadanana avy amin'Andriamanitra Raintsika sy Jesosy Kristy Tompo.

Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

Misaotra an'Andriamanitro amin'ny fahatsiarovako anareo

I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,

mandrakariva aho amin'ny fivavahako rehetra ho anareo rehetra, ka mangataka amin'ny fifaliana,

Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,

noho ny firaisanareo hampandroso ny filazantsara hatramin'ny andro voalohany ka mandraka ankehitriny;

For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.

Fa Andriamanitra no vavolombeloko fa manina anareo rehetra indrindra aho amin'ny famindram-pon'i Kristy Jesosy.

For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ.

Ary izao no angatahiko, dia ny mbola hitomboan'ny fitiavanareo bebe kokoa amin'ny fahalalana tsara sy ny fahafantarana rehetra,

And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment;

mba hamantaranareo izay zavatra tsara indrindra, mba ho madio am-po ary tsy hanan-tsiny ho amin'ny andron'i Kristy ianareo,

That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ;

sady feno ny vokatry ny fahamarinana, izay avy amin'ny alalan'i Jesosy Kristy, ho voninahitra sy fiderana an'Andriamanitra.

Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

Ary tiako ho fantatrareo, ry rahalahy, fa izay zavatra nanjo ahy dia efa tonga fampandrosoana ny filazantsara kosa;

But I would ye should understand, brethren, that the things which happened unto me have fallen out rather unto the furtherance of the gospel;

ka ao amin'i Kristy ny fifatorako dia fantatry ny mpiambina andriana rehetra mbamin'ny olona hafa rehetra;

So that my bonds in Christ are manifest in all the palace, and in all other places;

ary ny ankabiazan'ny rahalahy dia efa matoky ao amin'ny Tompo noho ny fifatorako ka mihasahisahy kokoa hitory ny tenin'Andriamanitra tsy amin'ny tahotra.

And many of the brethren in the Lord, waxing confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.

Fialonana sy fifandirana aza no itorian'ny sasany an'i Kristy, ary fifaliana kosa ny an'ny sasany;

Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will:

fitiavana ny an'ny sasany, satria fantany fa voatendry ho mpanafa-tsiny ny filazantsara aho;

The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds:

fifampiandaniana kosa no itorian'ny sasany an'i Kristy, fa tsy mba fo madio, ka mihevitra hanampy fahoriana ny fifatorako.

But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel.

Ahoana ary no izy, afa-tsy izao? Amin'ny atao rehetra, na amin'ny fihatsaram-belatsihy, na amin'ny marina, dia Kristy no torina, ary mifaly amin'izany aho; eny, mbola hifaly ihany aho.

What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.

Fa fantatro fa ho tonga famonjena ahy izany noho ny fangatahanareo sy ny fanomezana ny Fanahin'i Jesosy Kristy,

For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,

araka ny hafatratry ny faniriako sy ny fanantenako fa tsy hahazo henatra aho, na amin'inona na amin'inona; fa amin'ny fahasahiana rehetra, tahaka ny amin'ny mandrakariva, dia ankehitriny koa no hankalazana an'i Kristy ao amin'ny tenako, na amin'ny fiainana, na amin'ny fahafatesana.

According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death.

Fa Kristy no anton'ny ahavelomako, ary ny fahafatesana no hahazoako tombony.

For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

Kanefa raha ny ho velona amin'ny nofo no hahavokaran'ny asako, dia tsy hitako izay hofidiko;

But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not.

fa sanganehana eo anelanelan'izy roroa aho, maniry hiala ka ho ao amin'i Kristy, satria tsara lavitra izany;

For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:

kanefa kosa ny hitoetra eo amin'ny nofo no mahasoa anareo kokoa.

Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you.

Ary satria matoky izany aho, dia fantatro fa hitoetra sy haharitra eo aminareo rehetra aho hahazoanareo fandrosoana sy fifaliana amin'ny finoanareo,

And having this confidence, I know that I shall abide and continue with you all for your furtherance and joy of faith;

mba hitombo noho ny ataoko ny firavoravoanareo ao amin'i Kristy Jesosy amin'ny hankanesako atỳ aminareo indray.

That your rejoicing may be more abundant in Jesus Christ for me by my coming to you again.

Fa hany ataoko: aoka ny fitondran-tenanareo ho miendrika ny filazantsaran'i Kristy, mba handrenesako ny toetrareo (na ho tonga aho ka hahita anareo, na tsy ho tonga), fa maharitra amin'ny fanahy iray ianareo ka miray fo hiara-miezaka hampandroso ny finoana ny filazantsara,

Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;

ka tsy ho azon'ny fahavalo ampitahorina ianareo na amin'inona na amin'inona; fa amin'ireo dia mariky ny fahaverezana izany, nefa mariky ny famonjena anareo kosa, sady avy amin'Andriamanitra.

And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.

Fa ianareo efa nomena noho ny an'i Kristy, tsy ny hino Azy ihany, fa ny hiharam-pahoriana koa noho ny aminy,

For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;

dia manana izany ady izany ianareo, izay hitanareo teo amiko sady mbola renareo fa ato amiko ihany ankehitriny.

Having the same conflict which ye saw in me, and now hear to be in me.
