Job 41

Indro, foana ny fihendrena azy; Tsy mahakivy va na dia ny fijery azy aza?
Canst thou draw out leviathan with an hook? or his tongue with a cord which thou lettest down?
Tsy misy sahy manao vi-very hanaitra azy; Koa iza kosa no mahajanona eo anatrehako?
Canst thou put an hook into his nose? or bore his jaw through with a thorn?
Iza no nanome Ahy aloha mba hamaliako azy? Ny eny ambanin'ny lanitra rehetra dia Ahy avokoa.
Will he make many supplications unto thee? will he speak soft words unto thee?
Tsy mbola hangina Aho ny amin'ny momba ny tenany sy ny heriny ary ny fahatsaran'ny endriny.
Will he make a covenant with thee? wilt thou take him for a servant for ever?
Iza no mahasonga ny fitafiany anoloany? Na iza no sahy hiditra ao amin'ny nifiny roa sosona?
Wilt thou play with him as with a bird? or wilt thou bind him for thy maidens?
Iza no mahasokatra ny varavaran'ny tavany? Mahatsiravina ny nifiny manodidina!
Shall the companions make a banquet of him? shall they part him among the merchants?
Reharehany ny faharaoraon'ny kirany, mihidy avokoa toy ny voapetaka mafy amin'ny tombo-kase ireo;
Canst thou fill his skin with barbed irons? or his head with fish spears?
Mikirindro ireo, ka tsy azon'ny rivotra idirana eo anelanelany.
Lay thine hand upon him, remember the battle, do no more.
Mifanindry lany ireo sady mifaniditra ka tsy azo sarahina,
Behold, the hope of him is in vain: shall not one be cast down even at the sight of him?
Ny fieviny dia mampamirapiratra fahazavana, ary ny masony dia tahaka ny hodimason'ny maraina.
None is so fierce that dare stir him up: who then is able to stand before me?
Lelafo no mivoaka avy amin'ny vavany; Kilalaon'afo no mipariaka avy aminy.
Who hath prevented me, that I should repay him? whatsoever is under the whole heaven is mine.
Ny vavorony dia ivoahan'ny setroka, tahaka ny avy amin'ny vilany mangotraka, na amin'ny fahandroana.
I will not conceal his parts, nor his power, nor his comely proportion.
Ny fofonainy mampirehitra arina, ary misy lelafo mivoaka avy amin'ny vavany.
Who can discover the face of his garment? or who can come to him with his double bridle?
Ny vozony no itoeran'ny hery; Ary mibitaka eo alohany ny fampahatahorana.
Who can open the doors of his face? his teeth are terrible round about.
Mivalombalona ny hotraka amin'ny tenany; Mafy ireny ka tsy azo endahana.
His scales are his pride, shut up together as with a close seal.
Mafy tahaka ny vato ny fony; Eny, mafy tahaka ny vato fikosoham-bary.
One is so near to another, that no air can come between them.
Raha mitsangana izy, dia raiki-tahotra ny mahery; Eny, toran-kovitra ireo ka tsy mahavoa.
They are joined one to another, they stick together, that they cannot be sundered.
Raha misy mamely azy amin'ny sabatra dia tsy mahalaitra, na amin'ny lefom-pohy, na ny firombaka, na ny zana-tsipìka.
By his neesings a light doth shine, and his eyes are like the eyelids of the morning.
Ataony toy ny mololo ny vy, ary toy ny hazo momoka ny varahina.
Out of his mouth go burning lamps, and sparks of fire leap out.
Tsy mampandositra azy ny zana-tsipìka; Ataony ho toy ny vodivary ny vaton'antsamotady.
Out of his nostrils goeth smoke, as out of a seething pot or caldron.
Ataony ho toy ny vodivary koa ny langilangy; Ihomehezany ny fanetsehana ny lefona.
His breath kindleth coals, and a flame goeth out of his mouth.
Ny takibany dia tahaka ny tavim-bilany maranitra; Mamelatra fivelezam-bary maranitra eo amin'ny fotaka izy.
In his neck remaineth strength, and sorrow is turned into joy before him.
Mampandevy ny lalina ho tahaka ny ao am-bilany izy; Manao ny ranomasina ho tahaka ny vilany misy menaka manitra izy.
The flakes of his flesh are joined together: they are firm in themselves; they cannot be moved.
Mampahazava ny lalany eo aoriany izy. Ataon'ny olona ho toy ny volo fotsy ny lalina.
His heart is as firm as a stone; yea, as hard as a piece of the nether millstone.
Tsy misy tahaka azy eny ambonin'ny tany, izay voaforona tsy hahalala tahotra.
When he raiseth up himself, the mighty are afraid: by reason of breakings they purify themselves.
Ny avo rehetra jereny avokoa; Mpanjakan'ny bibi-dia rehetra izy
The sword of him that layeth at him cannot hold: the spear, the dart, nor the habergeon.
He esteemeth iron as straw, and brass as rotten wood.
The arrow cannot make him flee: slingstones are turned with him into stubble.
Darts are counted as stubble: he laugheth at the shaking of a spear.
Sharp stones are under him: he spreadeth sharp pointed things upon the mire.
He maketh the deep to boil like a pot: he maketh the sea like a pot of ointment.
He maketh a path to shine after him; one would think the deep to be hoary.
Upon earth there is not his like, who is made without fear.
He beholdeth all high things: he is a king over all the children of pride.
