Ezekiel 2

Ary hoy Izy tamiko: Ry zanak'olona, mitsangàna, fa hiteny aminao Aho.

And he said unto me, Son of man, stand upon thy feet, and I will speak unto thee.

Ary nisy fanahy tonga tao anatiko, raha niteny tamiko Izy, ka nampitsangana ahy, ary reko Izay niteny tamiko.

And the spirit entered into me when he spake unto me, and set me upon my feet, that I heard him that spake unto me.

Ary hoy Izy tamiko: Ry zanak'olona, maniraka anao ho amin'ny zanak'Isiraely Aho, eny, ho amin'ireo jentilisa mpiodina, izay efa niodina tamiko; izy sy ny razany dia samy efa nanota tamiko avokoa mandraka androany.

And he said unto me, Son of man, I send thee to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that hath rebelled against me: they and their fathers have transgressed against me, even unto this very day.

Ary ho any amin'ny zanaka mafy handrina sy madi-po no anirahako anao, ary ianao hanao aminy hoe: Izao no lazain'i Jehovah Tompo.

For they are impudent children and stiffhearted. I do send thee unto them; and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD.

Ary na hihaino izy na tsy hihaino (fa taranaka maditra izy), dia ho fantany fa efa nisy mpaminany teo aminy.

And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them.

Ary ianao, ry zanak'olona, aza matahotra azy, ary aza matahotra ny teniny, na dia voakasiky ny amiana sy ny tsilo aza ianao, ary na dia eo amin'ny maingoka aza no ipetrahanao; eny, aza matahotra ny fiteniny, ary aza mivadi-po noho ny tarehiny, fa taranaka maditra izy.

And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.

Ary holazainao aminy ihany ny amiko, na hihaino izy na tsy hihaino, fa tena naditra izy.

And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious.

Fa ianao kosa, ry zanak'olona, mihainoa izay lazaiko aminao; aza maditra tahaka izany taranaka maditra izany ianao; akafy ny vavanao, ka hano izay afahako anao.

But thou, son of man, hear what I say unto thee; Be not thou rebellious like that rebellious house: open thy mouth, and eat that I give thee.

Ary hitako fa, indro, nisy tanana nahinjitra tamiko, ary, indro, nisy horonan-taratasy ny aminy.

And when I looked, behold, an hand was sent unto me; and, lo, a roll of a book was therein;

Dia novelariny teo anatrehako izany, ary nisy soratra teo anatiny sy teo ivoany; ary fitomaniana sy fidradradradrana loza no voasoratra teo.

And he spread it before me; and it was written within and without: and there was written therein lamentations, and mourning, and woe.
