II Samuel 9

Ary hoy Davida: Mbola misy sisa ihany va ny tamingan'i Saoly mba hasiako soa noho ny amin'i Jonatana?
And David said, Is there yet any that is left of the house of Saul, that I may shew him kindness for Jonathan's sake?
Ary nisy mpanompon'ny fianakavian'i Saoly, Ziba no anarany. Ary nantsoiny hankany amin'i Davida izy, ka hoy ny mpanjaka taminy: Hianao moa no Ziba? Ary hoy izy: Izaho mpanomponao no izy.
And there was of the house of Saul a servant whose name was Ziba. And when they had called him unto David, the king said unto him, Art thou Ziba? And he said, Thy servant is he.
Ary hoy ny mpanjaka: Mbola misy sisa ihany va ny tamingan'i Saoly mba hasiako soa araka ny fanaon'Andriamanitra? Dia hoy Ziba tamin'ny mpanjaka: Mbola misy zanakalahin'i Jonatana iray ihany ao, nefa malemy tongotra izy.
And the king said, Is there not yet any of the house of Saul, that I may shew the kindness of God unto him? And Ziba said unto the king, Jonathan hath yet a son, which is lame on his feet.
Ary hoy ny mpanjaka taminy; Aiza anefa izy? Dia hoy Ziba tamin'ny mpanjaka: Indro izy ao an-tranon'i Makira, zanak'i Amiela, ao Lo-debara.
And the king said unto him, Where is he? And Ziba said unto the king, Behold, he is in the house of Machir, the son of Ammiel, in Lo–debar.
Ary Davida mpanjaka naniraka haka azy tao an-tranon'i Makira, zanak'i Amiela, tao Lodebara.
Then king David sent, and fetched him out of the house of Machir, the son of Ammiel, from Lo–debar.
Ary nony tonga teo amin'i Davida Mefiboseta, zanak'i Jonatana, zanak'i Saoly, dia niankohoka sy nitsaoka azy izy. Ary hoy Davida: Mefiboseta! Dia hoy izy: Inty ny mpanomponao.
Now when Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, was come unto David, he fell on his face, and did reverence. And David said, Mephibosheth. And he answered, Behold thy servant!
Ary hoy Davida taminy: Aza matahotra, fa hasiako soa tokoa ianao noho ny amin'i Jonatana rainao, ary hampodiko ho anao ny tany rehetra izay an'i Saoly rainao, ary ianao hihinana eo amin'ny latabatro mandrakariva.
And David said unto him, Fear not: for I will surely shew thee kindness for Jonathan thy father's sake, and will restore thee all the land of Saul thy father; and thou shalt eat bread at my table continually.
Dia niankohoka izy ka nanao hoe: Zinona moa aho mpanomponao izay toy ny alika maty, no mba jerenao?
And he bowed himself, and said, What is thy servant, that thou shouldest look upon such a dead dog as I am?
Dia niantso an'i Ziba, mpanompon'i Saoly, ny mpanjaka ka nanao taminy hoe: Izay rehetra nananan'i Saoly sy ny mpianakaviny rehetra dia nomeko ny zanakalahin'ny tomponao.
Then the king called to Ziba, Saul's servant, and said unto him, I have given unto thy master's son all that pertained to Saul and to all his house.
Koa ianao sy ny zanakaolahy ary ny mpanomponao no hiasa ny tany ho azy ka hanatitra hanin-kohanina ho an'ny zanakalahin'ny tomponao; fa Mefiboseta, zanakalahin'ny tomponao, hihinana eo amin'ny latabatro mandrakariva. Ary Ziba nanana zanakalahy dimy ambin'ny folo sy mpanompo roa-polo.
Thou therefore, and thy sons, and thy servants, shall till the land for him, and thou shalt bring in the fruits, that thy master's son may have food to eat: but Mephibosheth thy master's son shall eat bread alway at my table. Now Ziba had fifteen sons and twenty servants.
Ary hoy Ziba tamin'ny mpanjaka: Araka izay rehetra nandidianao mpanjaka tompoko no hataon'ny mpanomponao. Fa ny amin'i Mefiboseta, hoy Davida, dia hihinana eo amin'ny latabatro toy ny anankiray amin'ny zanakalahin'ny mpanjaka izy.
Then said Ziba unto the king, According to all that my lord the king hath commanded his servant, so shall thy servant do. As for Mephibosheth, said the king, he shall eat at my table, as one of the king's sons.
Ary Mefiboseta nanan-janakalahy tanora, Mika no anarany. Ary izay rehetra nitoetra tao an-tranon'i Ziba dia mpanompon'i Mefiboseta avokoa.
And Mephibosheth had a young son, whose name was Micha. And all that dwelt in the house of Ziba were servants unto Mephibosheth.
Ary Mefiboseta nonina tany Jerosalema; fa teo amin'ny latabatry ny mpanjaka no nihinanany mandrakariva; ary nalemy ny tongony roa.
So Mephibosheth dwelt in Jerusalem: for he did eat continually at the king's table; and was lame on both his feet.
