Revelation of John 3

And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.

سردیس میں موجود جماعت کے فرشتے کو یہ لکھ دینا: یہ اُس کا فرمان ہے جو اللہ کی سات روحوں اور سات ستاروں کو اپنے ہاتھ میں تھامے رکھتا ہے۔ مَیں تیرے کاموں کو جانتا ہوں۔ تُو زندہ تو کہلاتا ہے لیکن ہے مُردہ۔

Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.

جاگ اُٹھ! جو باقی رہ گیا ہے اور مرنے والا ہے اُسے مضبوط کر۔ کیونکہ مَیں نے تیرے کام اپنے خدا کی نظر میں مکمل نہیں پائے۔

Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

چنانچہ جو کچھ تجھے ملا ہے اور جو تُو نے سنا ہے اُسے یاد رکھنا۔ اُسے محفوظ رکھ اور توبہ کر۔ اگر تُو بیدار نہ ہو تو مَیں چور کی طرح آؤں گا اور تجھے معلوم نہیں ہو گا کہ مَیں کب تجھ پر آن پڑوں گا۔

Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.

لیکن سردیس میں تیرے کچھ ایسے لوگ ہیں جنہوں نے اپنے لباس آلودہ نہیں کئے۔ وہ سفید کپڑے پہنے ہوئے میرے ساتھ چلیں پھریں گے، کیونکہ وہ اِس کے لائق ہیں۔

He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

جو غالب آئے گا وہ بھی اُن کی طرح سفید کپڑے پہنے ہوئے پھرے گا۔ مَیں اُس کا نام کتابِ حیات سے نہیں مٹاؤں گا بلکہ اپنے باپ اور اُس کے فرشتوں کے سامنے اقرار کروں گا کہ یہ میرا ہے۔

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

جو سن سکتا ہے وہ سن لے کہ روح القدس جماعتوں کو کیا کچھ بتا رہا ہے۔

And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;

فلدلفیہ میں موجود جماعت کے فرشتے کو یہ لکھ دینا: یہ اُس کا فرمان ہے جو قدوس اور سچا ہے، جس کے ہاتھ میں داؤد کی چابی ہے۔ جو کچھ وہ کھولتا ہے اُسے کوئی بند نہیں کر سکتا، اور جو کچھ وہ بند کر دیتا ہے اُسے کوئی کھول نہیں سکتا۔

I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.

مَیں تیرے کاموں کو جانتا ہوں۔ دیکھ، مَیں نے تیرے سامنے ایک ایسا دروازہ کھول رکھا ہے جسے کوئی بند نہیں کر سکتا۔ مجھے معلوم ہے کہ تیری طاقت کم ہے۔ لیکن تُو نے میرے کلام کو محفوظ رکھا ہے اور میرے نام کا انکار نہیں کیا۔

Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

دیکھ، جہاں تک اُن کا تعلق ہے جو ابلیس کی جماعت سے ہیں، وہ جو یہودی ہونے کا دعویٰ کرتے ہیں حالانکہ وہ جھوٹ بولتے ہیں، مَیں اُنہیں تیرے پاس آنے دوں گا، اُنہیں تیرے پاؤں میں جھک کر یہ تسلیم کرنے پر مجبور کروں گا کہ مَیں نے تجھے پیار کیا ہے۔

Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

تُو نے میرا ثابت قدم رہنے کا حکم پورا کیا، اِس لئے مَیں تجھے آزمائش کی اُس گھڑی سے بچائے رکھوں گا جو پوری دنیا پر آ کر اُس میں بسنے والوں کو آزمائے گی۔

Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

مَیں جلد آ رہا ہوں۔ جو کچھ تیرے پاس ہے اُسے مضبوطی سے تھامے رکھنا تاکہ کوئی تجھ سے تیرا تاج چھین نہ لے۔

Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

جو غالب آئے گا اُسے مَیں اپنے خدا کے گھر میں ستون بناؤں گا، ایسا ستون جو اُسے کبھی نہیں چھوڑے گا۔ مَیں اُس پر اپنے خدا کا نام اور اپنے خدا کے شہر کا نام لکھ دوں گا، اُس نئے یروشلم کا نام جو میرے خدا کے ہاں سے اُترنے والا ہے۔ ہاں، مَیں اُس پر اپنا نیا نام بھی لکھ دوں گا۔

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

جو سن سکتا ہے وہ سن لے کہ روح القدس جماعتوں کو کیا کچھ بتا رہا ہے۔

And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;

لودیکیہ میں موجود جماعت کے فرشتے کو یہ لکھ دینا: یہ اُس کا فرمان ہے جو آمین ہے، وہ جو وفادار اور سچا گواہ اور اللہ کی کائنات کا منبع ہے۔

I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.

مَیں تیرے کاموں کو جانتا ہوں۔ تُو نہ تو سرد ہے، نہ گرم۔ کاش تُو اِن میں سے ایک ہوتا!

So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

لیکن چونکہ تُو نیم گرم ہے، نہ گرم، نہ سرد، اِس لئے مَیں تجھے قَے کر کے اپنے منہ سے نکال پھینکوں گا۔

Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

تُو کہتا ہے، ”مَیں امیر ہوں، مَیں نے بہت دولت حاصل کر لی ہے اور مجھے کسی بھی چیز کی ضرورت نہیں۔“ اور تُو نہیں جانتا کہ تُو اصل میں بدبخت، قابلِ رحم، غریب، اندھا اور ننگا ہے۔

I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

مَیں تجھے مشورہ دیتا ہوں کہ مجھ سے آگ میں خالص کیا گیا سونا خرید لے۔ تب ہی تُو دولت مند بنے گا۔ اور مجھ سے سفید لباس خریدلے جس کو پہننے سے تیرے ننگے پن کی شرم ظاہر نہیں ہو گی۔ اِس کے علاوہ مجھ سے آنکھوں میں لگانے کے لئے مرہم خرید لے تاکہ تُو دیکھ سکے۔

As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

جن کو مَیں پیار کرتا ہوں اُن کی مَیں سزا دے کر تربیت کرتا ہوں۔ اب سنجیدہ ہو جا اور توبہ کر۔

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

دیکھ، مَیں دروازے پر کھڑا کھٹکھٹا رہا ہوں۔ اگر کوئی میری آواز سن کر دروازہ کھولے تو مَیں اندر آ کر اُس کے ساتھ کھانا کھاؤں گا اور وہ میرے ساتھ۔

To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

جو غالب آئے اُسے مَیں اپنے ساتھ اپنے تخت پر بیٹھنے کا حق دوں گا، بالکل اُسی طرح جس طرح مَیں خود بھی غالب آ کر اپنے باپ کے ساتھ اُس کے تخت پر بیٹھ گیا۔

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

جو سن سکتا ہے وہ سن لے کہ روح القدس جماعتوں کو کیا کچھ بتا رہا ہے۔“
