Psalms 148

Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the LORD from the heavens: praise him in the heights.

رب کی حمد ہو! آسمان سے رب کی ستائش کرو، بلندیوں پر اُس کی تمجید کرو!

Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts.

اے اُس کے تمام فرشتو، اُس کی حمد کرو! اے اُس کے تمام لشکرو، اُس کی تعریف کرو!

Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.

اے سورج اور چاند، اُس کی حمد کرو! اے تمام چمک دار ستارو، اُس کی ستائش کرو!

Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens.

اے بلند ترین آسمانو اور آسمان کے اوپر کے پانی، اُس کی حمد کرو!

Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created.

وہ رب کے نام کی ستائش کریں، کیونکہ اُس نے فرمایا تو وہ وجود میں آئے۔

He hath also stablished them for ever and ever: he hath made a decree which shall not pass.

اُس نے ناقابلِ منسوخ فرمان جاری کر کے اُنہیں ہمیشہ کے لئے قائم کیا ہے۔

Praise the LORD from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps:

اے سمندر کے اژدہاؤ اور تمام گہرائیو، زمین سے رب کی تمجید کرو!

Fire, and hail; snow, and vapour; stormy wind fulfilling his word:

اے آگ، اولو، برف، دُھند اور اُس کے حکم پر چلنے والی آندھیو، اُس کی حمد کرو!

Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars:

اے پہاڑو اور پہاڑیو، پھل دار درختو اور تمام دیودارو، اُس کی تعریف کرو!

Beasts, and all cattle; creeping things, and flying fowl:

اے جنگلی جانورو، مویشیو، رینگنے والی مخلوقات اور پرندو، اُس کی حمد کرو!

Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth:

اے زمین کے بادشاہو اور تمام قومو، سردارو اور زمین کے تمام حکمرانو، اُس کی تمجید کرو!

Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children:

اے نوجوانو اور کنواریو، بزرگو اور بچو، اُس کی حمد کرو!

Let them praise the name of the LORD: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.

سب رب کے نام کی ستائش کریں، کیونکہ صرف اُسی کا نام عظیم ہے، اُس کی عظمت آسمان و زمین سے اعلیٰ ہے۔

He also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the LORD.

اُس نے اپنی قوم کو سرفراز کر کے اپنے تمام ایمان داروں کی شہرت بڑھائی ہے، یعنی اسرائیلیوں کی شہرت، اُس قوم کی جو اُس کے قریب رہتی ہے۔ رب کی حمد ہو!
