Micah 4

But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.

آخری ایام میں رب کے گھر کا پہاڑ مضبوطی سے قائم ہو گا۔ سب سے بڑا یہ پہاڑ دیگر تمام بلندیوں سے کہیں زیادہ سرفراز ہو گا۔ تب اُمّتیں جوق در جوق اُس کے پاس پہنچیں گی،

And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

اور بےشمار قومیں آ کر کہیں گی، ”آؤ، ہم رب کے پہاڑ پر چڑھ کر یعقوب کے خدا کے گھر کے پاس جائیں تاکہ وہ ہمیں اپنی مرضی کی تعلیم دے اور ہم اُس کی راہوں پر چلیں۔“ کیونکہ صیون پہاڑ سے رب کی ہدایت نکلے گی، اور یروشلم سے اُس کا کلام صادر ہو گا۔

And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

رب بین الاقوامی جھگڑوں کو نپٹائے گا اور دُور تک کی زورآور قوموں کا انصاف کرے گا۔ تب وہ اپنی تلواروں کو کوٹ کر پھالے بنائیں گی اور اپنے نیزوں کو کانٹ چھانٹ کے اوزار میں تبدیل کریں گی۔ اب سے نہ ایک قوم دوسری پر حملہ کرے گی، نہ لوگ جنگ کرنے کی تربیت حاصل کریں گے۔

But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken it.

ہر ایک اپنی انگور کی بیل اور اپنے انجیر کے درخت کے سائے میں بیٹھ کر آرام کرے گا۔ کوئی نہیں رہے گا جو اُنہیں اچانک دہشت زدہ کرے۔ کیونکہ رب الافواج نے یہ کچھ فرمایا ہے۔

For all people will walk every one in the name of his god, and we will walk in the name of the LORD our God for ever and ever.

ہر دوسری قوم اپنے دیوتا کا نام لے کر پھرتی ہے، لیکن ہم ہمیشہ تک رب اپنے خدا کا نام لے کر پھریں گے۔

In that day, saith the LORD, will I assemble her that halteth, and I will gather her that is driven out, and her that I have afflicted;

رب فرماتا ہے، ”اُس دن مَیں لنگڑوں کو جمع کروں گا اور اُنہیں اکٹھا کروں گا جنہیں مَیں نے منتشر کر کے دُکھ پہنچایا تھا۔

And I will make her that halted a remnant, and her that was cast far off a strong nation: and the LORD shall reign over them in mount Zion from henceforth, even for ever.

مَیں لنگڑوں کو قوم کا بچا ہوا حصہ بنا دوں گا اور جو دُور تک بھٹک گئے تھے اُنہیں طاقت ور اُمّت میں تبدیل کروں گا۔ تب رب اُن کا بادشاہ بن کر ابد تک صیون پہاڑ پر اُن پر حکومت کرے گا۔

And thou, O tower of the flock, the strong hold of the daughter of Zion, unto thee shall it come, even the first dominion; the kingdom shall come to the daughter of Jerusalem.

جہاں تک تیرا تعلق ہے، اے ریوڑ کے بُرج، اے صیون بیٹی کے پہاڑ، تجھے پہلے کی سی سلطنت حاصل ہو گی۔ یروشلم بیٹی کو دوبارہ بادشاہت ملے گی۔“

Now why dost thou cry out aloud? is there no king in thee? is thy counsellor perished? for pangs have taken thee as a woman in travail.

اے یروشلم بیٹی، اِس وقت تُو اِتنے زور سے کیوں چیخ رہی ہے؟ کیا تیرا کوئی بادشاہ نہیں؟ کیا تیرے مشیر سب ختم ہو گئے ہیں کہ تُو دردِ زہ میں مبتلا عورت کی طرح پیچ و تاب کھا رہی ہے؟

Be in pain, and labour to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail: for now shalt thou go forth out of the city, and thou shalt dwell in the field, and thou shalt go even to Babylon; there shalt thou be delivered; there the LORD shall redeem thee from the hand of thine enemies.

اے صیون بیٹی، جنم دینے والی عورت کی طرح تڑپتی اور چیختی جا! کیونکہ اب تجھے شہر سے نکل کر کھلے میدان میں رہنا پڑے گا، آخر میں تُو بابل تک پہنچے گی۔ لیکن وہاں رب تجھے بچائے گا، وہاں وہ عوضانہ دے کر تجھے دشمن کے ہاتھ سے چھڑائے گا۔

Now also many nations are gathered against thee, that say, Let her be defiled, and let our eye look upon Zion.

اِس وقت تو متعدد قومیں تیرے خلاف جمع ہو گئی ہیں۔ آپس میں وہ کہہ رہی ہیں، ”آؤ، یروشلم کی بےحرمتی ہو جائے، ہم صیون کی حالت دیکھ کر لطف اندوز ہو جائیں۔“

But they know not the thoughts of the LORD, neither understand they his counsel: for he shall gather them as the sheaves into the floor.

لیکن وہ رب کے خیالات کو نہیں جانتے، اُس کا منصوبہ نہیں سمجھتے۔ اُنہیں معلوم نہیں کہ وہ اُنہیں گندم کے پُولوں کی طرح اکٹھا کر رہا ہے تاکہ اُنہیں گاہ لے۔

Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion: for I will make thine horn iron, and I will make thy hoofs brass: and thou shalt beat in pieces many people: and I will consecrate their gain unto the LORD, and their substance unto the Lord of the whole earth.

”اے صیون بیٹی، اُٹھ کر گاہ لے! کیونکہ مَیں تجھے لوہے کے سینگوں اور پیتل کے کُھروں سے نوازوں گا تاکہ تُو بہت سی قوموں کو چُور چُور کر سکے۔ تب مَیں اُن کا لُوٹا ہوا مال رب کے لئے مخصوص کروں گا، اُن کی دولت پوری دنیا کے مالک کے حوالے کروں گا۔“
