Malachi 4

For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

رب الافواج فرماتا ہے، ”یقیناً وہ دن آنے والا ہے جب میرا غضب بھڑکتی بھٹی کی طرح نازل ہو کر ہر گستاخ اور بےدین شخص کو بھوسے کی طرح بھسم کر دے گا۔ وہ جڑ سے لے کر شاخ تک مٹ جائیں گے۔

But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

لیکن تم پر جو میرے نام کا خوف مانتے ہو راستی کا سورج طلوع ہو گا، اور اُس کے پَروں تلے شفا ہو گی۔ تب تم باہر نکل کر کھلے چھوڑے ہوئے بچھڑوں کی طرح خوشی سے کودتے پھاندتے پھرو گے۔

And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.

جس دن مَیں یہ کچھ کروں گا اُس دن تم بےدینوں کو یوں کچل ڈالو گے کہ وہ پاؤں تلے کی خاک بن جائیں گے۔“ یہ رب الافواج کا فرمان ہے۔

Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.

”میرے خادم موسیٰ کی شریعت کو یاد رکھو یعنی وہ تمام احکام اور ہدایات جو مَیں نے اُسے حورب یعنی سینا پہاڑ پر اسرائیلی قوم کے لئے دی تھیں۔

Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:

رب کے اُس عظیم اور ہول ناک دن سے پہلے مَیں تمہارے پاس الیاس نبی کو بھیجوں گا۔

And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

جب وہ آئے گا تو باپ کا دل بیٹے اور بیٹے کا دل باپ کی طرف مائل کرے گا تاکہ مَیں آ کر ملک کو اپنے لئے مخصوص کر کے نیست و نابود نہ کروں۔“
