Isaiah 11

And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:

یسّی کے مُڈھ میں سے کونپل پھوٹ نکلے گی، اور اُس کی بچی ہوئی جڑوں سے شاخ نکل کر پھل لائے گی۔

And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;

رب کا روح اُس پر ٹھہرے گا یعنی حکمت اور سمجھ کا روح، مشورت اور قوت کا روح، عرفان اور رب کے خوف کا روح۔

And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:

رب کا خوف اُسے عزیز ہو گا۔ نہ وہ دکھاوے کی بنا پر فیصلہ کرے گا، نہ سنی سنائی باتوں کی بنا پر فتویٰ دے گا

But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.

بلکہ انصاف سے بےبسوں کی عدالت کرے گا اور غیرجانب داری سے ملک کے مصیبت زدوں کا فیصلہ کرے گا۔ اپنے کلام کی لاٹھی سے وہ زمین کو مارے گا اور اپنے منہ کی پھونک سے بےدین کو ہلاک کرے گا۔

And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.

وہ راست بازی کے پٹکے اور وفاداری کے زیرجامے سے ملبّس رہے گا۔

The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.

بھیڑیا اُس وقت بھیڑ کے بچے کے پاس ٹھہرے گا، اور چیتا بھیڑ کے بچے کے پاس آرام کرے گا۔ بچھڑا، جوان شیرببر اور موٹا تازہ بَیل مل کر رہیں گے، اور چھوٹا لڑکا اُنہیں ہانک کر سنبھالے گا۔

And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.

گائے ریچھ کے ساتھ چَرے گی، اور اُن کے بچے ایک دوسرے کے ساتھ آرام کریں گے۔ شیرببر بَیل کی طرح بھوسا کھائے گا۔

And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den.

شیرخوار بچہ ناگ کی بانبی کے قریب کھیلے گا، اور جوان بچہ اپنا ہاتھ زہریلے سانپ کے بِل میں ڈالے گا۔

They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

میرے تمام مُقدّس پہاڑ پر نہ غلط اور نہ تباہ کن کام کیا جائے گا۔ کیونکہ ملک رب کے عرفان سے یوں معمور ہو گا جس طرح سمندر پانی سے بھرا رہتا ہے۔

And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.

اُس دن یسّی کی جڑ سے پھوٹی ہوئی کونپل اُمّتوں کے لئے جھنڈا ہو گا۔ قومیں اُس کی طالب ہوں گی، اور اُس کی سکونت گاہ جلالی ہو گی۔

And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.

اُس دن رب ایک بار پھر اپنا ہاتھ بڑھائے گا تاکہ اپنی قوم کا وہ بچا کھچا حصہ دوبارہ حاصل کرے جو اسور، شمالی اور جنوبی مصر، ایتھوپیا، عیلام، بابل، حمات اور ساحلی علاقوں میں منتشر ہو گا۔

And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.

وہ قوموں کے لئے جھنڈا گاڑ کر اسرائیل کے جلاوطنوں کو اکٹھا کرے گا۔ ہاں، وہ یہوداہ کے بکھرے افراد کو دنیا کے چاروں کونوں سے لا کر جمع کرے گا۔

The envy also of Ephraim shall depart, and the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off: Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not vex Ephraim.

تب اسرائیل کا حسد ختم ہو جائے گا، اور یہوداہ کے دشمن نیست و نابود ہو جائیں گے۔ نہ اسرائیل یہوداہ سے حسد کرے گا، نہ یہوداہ اسرائیل سے دشمنی رکھے گا۔

But they shall fly upon the shoulders of the Philistines toward the west; they shall spoil them of the east together: they shall lay their hand upon Edom and Moab; and the children of Ammon shall obey them.

پھر دونوں مغرب میں فلستی ملک پر جھپٹ پڑیں گے اور مل کر مشرق کے باشندوں کو لُوٹ لیں گے۔ ادوم اور موآب اُن کے قبضے میں آئیں گے، اور عمون اُن کے تابع ہو جائے گا۔

And the LORD shall utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea; and with his mighty wind shall he shake his hand over the river, and shall smite it in the seven streams, and make men go over dryshod.

رب بحرِ قُلزم کو خشک کرے گا اور ساتھ ساتھ دریائے فرات کے اوپر ہاتھ ہلا کر اُس پر زوردار ہَوا چلائے گا۔ تب دریا سات ایسی نہروں میں بٹ جائے گا جو پیدل ہی پار کی جا سکیں گی۔

And there shall be an highway for the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria; like as it was to Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.

ایک ایسا راستہ بنے گا جو رب کے بچے ہوئے افراد کو اسور سے اسرائیل تک پہنچائے گا، بالکل اُس راستے کی طرح جس نے اسرائیلیوں کو مصر سے نکلتے وقت اسرائیل تک پہنچایا تھا۔
