I Chronicles 26

Concerning the divisions of the porters: Of the Korhites was Meshelemiah the son of Kore, of the sons of Asaph.

رب کے گھر کے صحن کے دروازوں پر پہرہ داری کرنے کے گروہ بھی مقرر کئے گئے۔ اُن میں ذیل کے آدمی شامل تھے: قورح کے خاندان کا فرد مسلمیاہ بن قورے جو آسف کی اولاد میں سے تھا۔

And the sons of Meshelemiah were, Zechariah the firstborn, Jediael the second, Zebadiah the third, Jathniel the fourth,

مسلمیاہ کے سات بیٹے بڑے سے لے کر چھوٹے تک زکریاہ، یدیع ایل، زبدیاہ، یتنی ایل،

Elam the fifth, Jehohanan the sixth, Elioenai the seventh.

عیلام، یوحنان اور اِلیہوعینی تھے۔

Moreover the sons of Obed–edom were, Shemaiah the firstborn, Jehozabad the second, Joah the third, and Sacar the fourth, and Nethaneel the fifth,

عوبید ادوم بھی دربان تھا۔ اللہ نے اُسے برکت دے کر آٹھ بیٹے دیئے تھے۔ بڑے سے لے کر چھوٹے تک اُن کے نام سمعیاہ، یہوزبد، یوآخ، سکار، نتنی ایل، عمی ایل، اِشکار اور فعولّتی تھے۔

Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Peulthai the eighth: for God blessed him.

عوبید ادوم بھی دربان تھا۔ اللہ نے اُسے برکت دے کر آٹھ بیٹے دیئے تھے۔ بڑے سے لے کر چھوٹے تک اُن کے نام سمعیاہ، یہوزبد، یوآخ، سکار، نتنی ایل، عمی ایل، اِشکار اور فعولّتی تھے۔

Also unto Shemaiah his son were sons born, that ruled throughout the house of their father: for they were mighty men of valour.

سمعیاہ بن عوبید ادوم کے بیٹے خاندانی سربراہ تھے، کیونکہ وہ کافی اثر و رسوخ رکھتے تھے۔

The sons of Shemaiah; Othni, and Rephael, and Obed, Elzabad, whose brethren were strong men, Elihu, and Semachiah.

اُن کے نام عُتنی، رفائیل، عوبید اور اِلزبد تھے۔ سمعیاہ کے رشتے دار اِلیہو اور سمکیاہ بھی گروہ میں شامل تھے، کیونکہ وہ بھی خاص حیثیت رکھتے تھے۔

All these of the sons of Obed–edom: they and their sons and their brethren, able men for strength for the service, were threescore and two of Obed–edom.

عوبید ادوم سے نکلے یہ تمام آدمی لائق تھے۔ وہ اپنے بیٹوں اور رشتے داروں سمیت کُل 62 افراد تھے اور سب مہارت سے اپنی خدمت سرانجام دیتے تھے۔

And Meshelemiah had sons and brethren, strong men, eighteen.

مسلمیاہ کے بیٹے اور رشتے دار کُل 18 آدمی تھے۔ سب لائق تھے۔

Also Hosah, of the children of Merari, had sons; Simri the chief, (for though he was not the firstborn, yet his father made him the chief;)

مِراری کے خاندان کا فرد حوسہ کے چار بیٹے سِمری، خِلقیاہ، طبلیاہ اور زکریاہ تھے۔ حوسہ نے سِمری کو خدمت کے گروہ کا سربراہ بنا دیا تھا اگرچہ وہ پہلوٹھا نہیں تھا۔

Hilkiah the second, Tebaliah the third, Zechariah the fourth: all the sons and brethren of Hosah were thirteen.

دوسرے بیٹے بڑے سے لے کر چھوٹے تک خِلقیاہ، طبلیاہ اور زکریاہ تھے۔ حوسہ کے کُل 13 بیٹے اور رشتے دار تھے۔

Among these were the divisions of the porters, even among the chief men, having wards one against another, to minister in the house of the LORD.

دربانوں کے اِن گروہوں میں خاندانی سرپرست اور تمام آدمی شامل تھے۔ باقی لاویوں کی طرح یہ بھی رب کے گھر میں اپنی خدمت سرانجام دیتے تھے۔

And they cast lots, as well the small as the great, according to the house of their fathers, for every gate.

قرعہ اندازی سے مقرر کیا گیا کہ کون سا گروہ صحن کے کس دروازے کی پہرہ داری کرے۔ اِس سلسلے میں بڑے اور چھوٹے خاندانوں میں امتیاز نہ کیا گیا۔

And the lot eastward fell to Shelemiah. Then for Zechariah his son, a wise counsellor, they cast lots; and his lot came out northward.

یوں جب قرعہ ڈالا گیا تو مسلمیاہ کے خاندان کا نام مشرقی دروازے کی پہرہ داری کرنے کے لئے نکلا۔ زکریاہ بن مسلمیاہ کے خاندان کا نام شمالی دروازے کی پہرہ داری کرنے کے لئے نکلا۔ زکریاہ اپنے دانا مشوروں کے لئے مشہور تھا۔

To Obed–edom southward; and to his sons the house of Asuppim.

جب قرعہ جنوبی دروازے کی پہرہ داری کے لئے ڈالا گیا تو عوبید ادوم کا نام نکلا۔ اُس کے بیٹوں کو گودام کی پہرہ داری کرنے کی ذمہ داری دی گئی۔

To Shuppim and Hosah the lot came forth westward, with the gate Shallecheth, by the causeway of the going up, ward against ward.

جب مغربی دروازے اور سلکت دروازے کے لئے قرعہ ڈالا گیا تو سُفّیم اور حوسہ کے نام نکلے۔ سلکت دروازہ چڑھنے والے راستے پر ہے۔ پہرہ داری کی خدمت یوں بانٹی گئی:

Eastward were six Levites, northward four a day, southward four a day, and toward Asuppim two and two.

روزانہ مشرقی دروازے پر چھ لاوی پہرہ دیتے تھے، شمالی اور جنوبی دروازوں پر چار چار افراد اور گودام پر دو۔

At Parbar westward, four at the causeway, and two at Parbar.

رب کے گھر کے صحن کے مغربی دروازے پر چھ لاوی پہرہ دیتے تھے، چار راستے پر اور دو صحن میں۔

These are the divisions of the porters among the sons of Kore, and among the sons of Merari.

یہ سب دربانوں کے گروہ تھے۔ سب قورح اور مِراری کے خاندانوں کی اولاد تھے۔

And of the Levites, Ahijah was over the treasures of the house of God, and over the treasures of the dedicated things.

دوسرے کچھ لاوی اللہ کے گھر کے خزانوں اور رب کے لئے مخصوص کی گئی چیزیں سنبھالتے تھے۔

As concerning the sons of Laadan; the sons of the Gershonite Laadan, chief fathers, even of Laadan the Gershonite, were Jehieli.

دو بھائی زیتام اور یوایل رب کے گھر کے خزانوں کی پہرہ داری کرتے تھے۔ وہ یحی ایل کے خاندان کے سرپرست تھے اور یوں لعدان جَیرسونی کی اولاد تھے۔

The sons of Jehieli; Zetham, and Joel his brother, which were over the treasures of the house of the LORD.

دو بھائی زیتام اور یوایل رب کے گھر کے خزانوں کی پہرہ داری کرتے تھے۔ وہ یحی ایل کے خاندان کے سرپرست تھے اور یوں لعدان جَیرسونی کی اولاد تھے۔

Of the Amramites, and the Izharites, the Hebronites, and the Uzzielites:

عمرام، اِضہار، حبرون اور عُزی ایل کے خاندانوں کی یہ ذمہ داریاں تھیں:

And Shebuel the son of Gershom, the son of Moses, was ruler of the treasures.

سبوایل بن جَیرسوم بن موسیٰ خزانوں کا نگران تھا۔

And his brethren by Eliezer; Rehabiah his son, and Jeshaiah his son, and Joram his son, and Zichri his son, and Shelomith his son.

جَیرسوم کے بھائی اِلی عزر کا بیٹا رحبیاہ تھا۔ رحبیاہ کا بیٹا یسعیاہ، یسعیاہ کا بیٹا یورام، یورام کا بیٹا زِکری اور زِکری کا بیٹا سلومیت تھا۔

Which Shelomith and his brethren were over all the treasures of the dedicated things, which David the king, and the chief fathers, the captains over thousands and hundreds, and the captains of the host, had dedicated.

سلومیت اپنے بھائیوں کے ساتھ اُن مُقدّس چیزوں کو سنبھالتا تھا جو داؤد بادشاہ، خاندانی سرپرستوں، ہزار ہزار اور سَو سَو فوجیوں پر مقرر افسروں اور دوسرے اعلیٰ افسروں نے رب کے لئے مخصوص کی تھیں۔

Out of the spoils won in battles did they dedicate to maintain the house of the LORD.

یہ چیزیں جنگوں میں لُوٹے ہوئے مال میں سے لے کر رب کے گھر کو مضبوط کرنے کے لئے مخصوص کی گئی تھیں۔

And all that Samuel the seer, and Saul the son of Kish, and Abner the son of Ner, and Joab the son of Zeruiah, had dedicated; and whosoever had dedicated any thing, it was under the hand of Shelomith, and of his brethren.

اِن میں وہ سامان بھی شامل تھا جو سموایل غیب بین، ساؤل بن قیس، ابنیر بن نیر اور یوآب بن ضرویاہ نے مقدِس کے لئے مخصوص کیا تھا۔ سلومیت اور اُس کے بھائی اِن تمام چیزوں کو سنبھالتے تھے۔

Of the Izharites, Chenaniah and his sons were for the outward business over Israel, for officers and judges.

اِضہار کے خاندان کے افراد یعنی کننیاہ اور اُس کے بیٹوں کو رب کے گھر سے باہر کی ذمہ داریاں دی گئیں۔ اُنہیں نگرانوں اور قاضیوں کی حیثیت سے اسرائیل پر مقرر کیا گیا۔

And of the Hebronites, Hashabiah and his brethren, men of valour, a thousand and seven hundred, were officers among them of Israel on this side Jordan westward in all the business of the LORD, and in the service of the king.

حبرون کے خاندان کے افراد یعنی حسبیاہ اور اُس کے بھائیوں کو دریائے یردن کے مغرب کے علاقے کو سنبھالنے کی ذمہ داری دی گئی۔ وہاں وہ رب کے گھر سے متعلق کاموں کے علاوہ بادشاہ کی خدمت بھی سرانجام دیتے تھے۔ اِن لائق آدمیوں کی کُل تعداد 1,700 تھی۔

Among the Hebronites was Jerijah the chief, even among the Hebronites, according to the generations of his fathers. In the fortieth year of the reign of David they were sought for, and there were found among them mighty men of valour at Jazer of Gilead.

داؤد بادشاہ کی حکومت کے 40ویں سال میں نسب ناموں کی تحقیق کی گئی تاکہ حبرون کے خاندان کے بارے میں معلومات حاصل ہو جائیں۔ پتا چلا کہ اُس کے کئی لائق رُکن جِلعاد کے علاقے کے شہر یعزیر میں آباد ہیں۔ یریاہ اُن کا سرپرست تھا۔

And his brethren, men of valour, were two thousand and seven hundred chief fathers, whom king David made rulers over the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh, for every matter pertaining to God, and affairs of the king.

داؤد بادشاہ نے اُسے روبن، جد اور منسّی کے مشرقی علاقے کو سنبھالنے کی ذمہ داری دی۔ یریاہ کی اِس خدمت میں اُس کے خاندان کے مزید 2,700 افراد بھی شامل تھے۔ سب لائق اور اپنے اپنے خاندانوں کے سرپرست تھے۔ اُس علاقے میں وہ رب کے گھر سے متعلق کاموں کے علاوہ بادشاہ کی خدمت بھی سرانجام دیتے تھے۔
