Adam, Sheth, Enosh,

نوح تک آدم کی اولاد سیت، انوس،

Kenan, Mahalaleel, Jered,

قینان، مہلل ایل، یارد،

Henoch, Methuselah, Lamech,

حنوک، متوسلح، لمک،

Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

اور نوح تھی۔ نوح کے تین بیٹے سِم، حام اور یافت تھے۔

The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.

یافت کے بیٹے جُمر، ماجوج، مادی، یاوان، تُوبل، مسک اور تیراس تھے۔

And the sons of Gomer; Ashchenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.

جُمر کے بیٹے اشکناز، ریفت اور تُجرمہ تھے۔

And the sons of Javan; Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.

یاوان کے بیٹے اِلیسہ اور ترسیس تھے۔ کِتّی اور رودانی بھی اُس کی اولاد ہیں۔

The sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.

حام کے بیٹے کوش، مصر، فوط اور کنعان تھے۔

And the sons of Cush; Seba, and Havilah, and Sabta, and Raamah, and Sabtecha. And the sons of Raamah; Sheba, and Dedan.

کوش کے بیٹے سِبا، حویلہ، سبتہ، رعمہ اور سبتکہ تھے۔ رعمہ کے بیٹے سبا اور ددان تھے۔

And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be mighty upon the earth.

نمرود بھی کوش کا بیٹا تھا۔ وہ زمین پر پہلا سورما تھا۔

And Mizraim begat Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,

مصر ذیل کی قوموں کا باپ تھا: لودی، عنامی، لِہابی، نفتوحی،

And Pathrusim, and Casluhim, (of whom came the Philistines,) and Caphthorim.

فتروسی، کسلوحی (جن سے فلستی نکلے) اور کفتوری۔

And Canaan begat Zidon his firstborn, and Heth,

کنعان کا پہلوٹھا صیدا تھا۔ کنعان اِن قوموں کا باپ بھی تھا: حِتّی

The Jebusite also, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,

یبوسی، اموری، جرجاسی،

And the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,

حِوّی، عرقی، سینی،

And the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.

اروادی، صماری اور حماتی۔

The sons of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.

سِم کے بیٹے عیلام، اسور، ارفکسد، لُود اور اَرام تھے۔ اَرام کے بیٹے عُوض، حول، جتر اور مسک تھے۔

And Arphaxad begat Shelah, and Shelah begat Eber.

ارفکسد کا بیٹا سلح اور سلح کا بیٹا عِبر تھا۔

And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg; because in his days the earth was divided: and his brother's name was Joktan.

عِبر کے دو بیٹے پیدا ہوئے۔ ایک کا نام فلج یعنی تقسیم تھا، کیونکہ اُن ایام میں دنیا تقسیم ہوئی۔ فلج کے بھائی کا نام یُقطان تھا۔

And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,

یُقطان کے بیٹے الموداد، سلف، حصرماوت، اِراخ،

Hadoram also, and Uzal, and Diklah,

ہدورام، اُوزال، دِقلہ،

And Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba,

عوبال، ابی مائیل، سبا،

And Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan.

اوفیر، حویلہ اور یوباب تھے۔ یہ سب اُس کے بیٹے تھے۔

Shem, Arphaxad, Shelah,

سِم کا یہ نسب نامہ ہے: سِم، ارفکسد، سلح،

Eber, Peleg, Reu,

عِبر، فلج، رعو،

Serug, Nahor, Terah,

سروج، نحور، تارح

Abram; the same is Abraham.

اور ابرام یعنی ابراہیم۔

The sons of Abraham; Isaac, and Ishmael.

ابراہیم کے بیٹے اسحاق اور اسمٰعیل تھے۔

These are their generations: The firstborn of Ishmael, Nebaioth; then Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,

اُن کی درجِ ذیل اولاد تھی: اسمٰعیل کا پہلوٹھا نبایوت تھا۔ اُس کے باقی بیٹے قیدار، ادبئیل، مِبسام،

Mishma, and Dumah, Massa, Hadad, and Tema,

مِشماع، دُومہ، مسّا، حدد، تیما،

Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. These are the sons of Ishmael.

یطور، نفیس اور قِدمہ تھے۔ سب اسمٰعیل کے ہاں پیدا ہوئے۔

Now the sons of Keturah, Abraham's concubine: she bare Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah. And the sons of Jokshan; Sheba, and Dedan.

ابراہیم کی داشتہ قطورہ کے بیٹے زِمران، یُقسان، مِدان، مِدیان، اِسباق اور سوخ تھے۔ یُقسان کے دو بیٹے سبا اور ددان پیدا ہوئے

And the sons of Midian; Ephah, and Epher, and Henoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these are the sons of Keturah.

جبکہ مِدیان کے بیٹے عیفہ، عِفر، حنوک، ابیداع اور اِلدعا تھے۔ سب قطورہ کی اولاد تھے۔

And Abraham begat Isaac. The sons of Isaac; Esau and Israel.

ابراہیم کے بیٹے اسحاق کے دو بیٹے پیدا ہوئے، عیسَو اور اسرائیل۔

The sons of Esau; Eliphaz, Reuel, and Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah.

عیسَو کے بیٹے اِلی فز، رعوایل، یعوس، یعلام اور قورح تھے۔

The sons of Eliphaz; Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.

اِلی فز کے بیٹے تیمان، اومر، صفی، جعتام، قنز اور عمالیق تھے۔ عمالیق کی ماں تِمنع تھی۔

The sons of Reuel; Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.

رعوایل کے بیٹے نحت، زارح، سمّہ اور مِزّہ تھے۔

And the sons of Seir; Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan.

سعیر کے بیٹے لوطان، سوبل، صِبعون، عنہ، دیسون، ایصر اور دیسان تھے۔

And the sons of Lotan; Hori, and Homam: and Timna was Lotan's sister.

لوطان کے دو بیٹے حوری اور ہومام تھے۔ (تِمنع لوطان کی بہن تھی۔)

The sons of Shobal; Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. And the sons of Zibeon; Aiah, and Anah.

سوبل کے بیٹے علیان، مانحت، عیبال، سفی اور اونام تھے۔ صِبعون کے بیٹے ایّاہ اور عنہ تھے۔

The sons of Anah; Dishon. And the sons of Dishon; Amram, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.

عنہ کے ایک بیٹا دیسون پیدا ہوا۔ دیسون کے چار بیٹے حمران، اِشبان، یِتران اور کِران تھے۔

The sons of Ezer; Bilhan, and Zavan, and Jakan. The sons of Dishan; Uz, and Aran.

ایصر کے تین بیٹے بِلہان، زعوان اور عقان تھے۔ دیسان کے دو بیٹے عُوض اور اران تھے۔

Now these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom before any king reigned over the children of Israel; Bela the son of Beor: and the name of his city was Dinhabah.

اِس سے پہلے کہ اسرائیلیوں کا کوئی بادشاہ تھا ذیل کے بادشاہ یکے بعد دیگرے ملکِ ادوم میں حکومت کرتے تھے: بالع بن بعور جو دنہابا شہر کا تھا۔

And when Bela was dead, Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.

اُس کی موت پر یوباب بن زارح جو بُصرہ شہر کا تھا۔

And when Jobab was dead, Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.

اُس کی موت پر حُشام جو تیمانیوں کے ملک کا تھا۔

And when Husham was dead, Hadad the son of Bedad, which smote Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Avith.

اُس کی موت پر ہدد بن بِدد جس نے ملکِ موآب میں مِدیانیوں کو شکست دی۔ وہ عویت شہر کا تھا۔

And when Hadad was dead, Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead.

اُس کی موت پر سملہ جو مسرِقہ شہر کا تھا۔

And when Samlah was dead, Shaul of Rehoboth by the river reigned in his stead.

اُس کی موت پر ساؤل جو دریائے فرات پر رحوبوت شہر کا تھا۔

And when Shaul was dead, Baal–hanan the son of Achbor reigned in his stead.

اُس کی موت پر بعل حنان بن عکبور۔

And when Baal–hanan was dead, Hadad reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Pai; and his wife's name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.

اُس کی موت پر ہدد جو فاعُو شہر کا تھا۔ (بیوی کا نام مہیطب ایل بنت مطرِد بنت میزاہاب تھا۔)

Hadad died also. And the dukes of Edom were; duke Timnah, duke Aliah, duke Jetheth,

پھر ہدد مر گیا۔ ادومی قبیلوں کے سردار تِمنع، علیاہ، یتیت،

Duke Aholibamah, duke Elah, duke Pinon,

اُہلی بامہ، ایلہ، فینون،

Duke Kenaz, duke Teman, duke Mibzar,

قنز، تیمان، مِبصار،

Duke Magdiel, duke Iram. These are the dukes of Edom.

مجدی ایل اور عِرام تھے۔ یہی ادوم کے سردار تھے۔
