God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;

Бог для нас охорона та сила, допомога в недолях, що часто трапляються,

Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.

тому не лякаємось ми, як трясеться земля, і коли гори зсуваються в серце морів!

There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.

Шумлять і киплять Його води, через велич Його тремтять гори. Села.

God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.

Річка, відноги її веселять місто Боже, найсвятіше із місць пробування Всевишнього.

The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.

Бог серед нього, нехай не хитається, Бог поможе йому, коли ранок настане.

The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

Шуміли народи, хиталися царства, а Він голос подав Свій і земля розпливлася.

Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth.

З нами Господь Саваот, наша твердиня Бог Яковів. Села.

He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.

ідіть, оглядайте Господні діла, які руйнування вчинив на землі!

Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

Аж до краю землі припиняє Він війни, ламає Він лука й торощить списа, палить огнем колесниці!

The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

Вгамуйтесь та знайте, що Бог Я, піднесусь між народами, піднесусь на землі! З нами Господь Саваот, наша твердиня Бог Яковів! Села.
