Psalms 108

O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.

Пісня. Псалом Давидів.

Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.

Моє серце зміцнилося, Боже, я буду співати та славити разом з своєю хвалою!

I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.

Збудися ж ти, арфо та цитро, я буду будити досвітню зорю!

For thy mercy is great above the heavens: and thy truth reacheth unto the clouds.

Я буду Тебе вихваляти, о Господи, серед народів, і буду співати Тобі між племенами,

Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth;

бо більше від неба Твоє милосердя, а правда Твоя аж до хмар!

That thy beloved may be delivered: save with thy right hand, and answer me.

Піднесися ж, о Боже, над небо, а слава Твоя над усією землею!

God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.

Щоб любі Твої були визволені, Своєю правицею допоможи й обізвися до нас!

Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; Judah is my lawgiver;

У святині Своїй Бог промовив: Нехай Я звеселюся, розділю Я Сихем, і долину Суккотську поміряю.

Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe; over Philistia will I triumph.

Належить Мені Ґілеад, і Мені Манасія, а Єфрем охорона Моєї голови, Юда берло Моє.

Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?

Моав то мідниця Мого миття, на Едом узуттям Своїм кину, над Филистеєю буду погукувати!

Wilt not thou, O God, who hast cast us off? and wilt not thou, O God, go forth with our hosts?

Хто мене запровадить до міста твердинного, хто до Едому мене приведе?

Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.

Хіба ж Ти покинув нас, Боже, і серед нашого війська не вийдеш вже, Боже?

Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.

Подай же нам поміч на ворога, людська бо поміч марнота! Ми мужність покажемо в Бозі, і Він потопче противників наших!
