Isaiah 61

The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

Πνευμα Κυριου του Θεου ειναι επ εμε διοτι ο Κυριος με εχρισε δια να ευαγγελιζωμαι εις τους πτωχους με απεστειλε δια να ιατρευσω τους συντετριμμενους την καρδιαν, να κηρυξω ελευθεριαν εις τους αιχμαλωτους και ανοιξιν δεσμωτηριου εις τους δεσμιους

To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

δια να κηρυξω ενιαυτον ευπροσδεκτον του Κυριου και ημεραν εκδικησεως του Θεου ημων δια να παρηγορησω παντας τους πενθουντας

To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

δια να θεσω εις τους πενθουντας εν Σιων, να δωσω εις αυτους ωραιοτητα αντι της στακτης, ελαιον ευφροσυνης αντι του πενθους, στολην αινεσεως αντι του πνευματος της ακηδιας δια να ονομαζωνται δενδρα δικαιοσυνης, φυτευμα του Κυριου, εις δοξαν αυτου.

And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.

Και θελουσιν ανοικοδομησει τας παλαιας ερημωσεις, θελουσιν ανεγειρει τα αρχαια ερειπια, και θελουσιν ανακαινισει τας ερημους πολεις, τας ηρημωμενας απο γενεας γενεων.

And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers.

Και αλλογενεις θελουσιν ιστασθαι και βοσκει τα ποιμνια σας, και οι υιοι των αλλογενων θελουσιν εισθαι οι γεωργοι σας και οι αμπελουργοι σας.

But ye shall be named the Priests of the LORD: men shall call you the Ministers of our God: ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall ye boast yourselves.

Σεις δε ιερεις του Κυριου θελετε ονομαζεσθαι λειτουργους του Θεου ημων θελουσι σας λεγει θελετε τρωγει τα αγαθα των εθνων και εις την δοξαν αυτων θελετε καυχασθαι.

For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.

Αντι της αισχυνης σας θελετε εχει διπλασια και αντι της εντροπης θελουσιν εχει αγαλλιασιν εν τη κληρονομια αυτων οθεν εν τη γη αυτων θελουσι κληρονομησει το διπλουν αιωνιος ευφροσυνη θελει εισθαι εις αυτους.

For I the LORD love judgment, I hate robbery for burnt offering; and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.

Διοτι εγω ειμαι ο Κυριος, ο αγαπων δικαιοσυνην, ο μισων αρπαγην και αδικιαν και θελω ανταποδωσει το εργον αυτων πιστα και θελω καμει προς αυτους διαθηκην αιωνιον.

And their seed shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people: all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which the LORD hath blessed.

Και το σπερμα αυτων θελει φημισθη μεταξυ των εθνων και οι εκγονοι αυτων μεταξυ των λαων πας ο βλεπων αυτους θελει γνωριζει αυτους, οτι ειναι το σπερμα, το οποιον ο Κυριος ευλογησε.

I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.

Θελω ευφρανθη τα μεγιστα επι τον Κυριον η ψυχη μου θελει αγαλλιασθη εις τον Θεον μου διοτι με ενεδυσεν ιματιον σωτηριας, με εφορεσεν επενδυμα δικαιοσυνης, ως νυμφιον ευπρεπισμενον με μιτραν και ως νυμφην κεκοσμημενην με τα πολυτιμα αυτης καλλωπισματα.

For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.

Διοτι καθως η γη αναδιδει το βλαστημα αυτης και καθως ο κηπος εκφυει τα σπειρομενα εν αυτω ουτω Κυριος ο Θεος θελει καμει την δικαιοσυνην και την αινεσιν να βλαστησωσιν ενωπιον παντων των εθνων.
