Isaiah 54

Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD.

Ευφρανθητι, στειρα, η μη τικτουσα αναβοησον εν αγαλλιασει και τερπου, η μη ωδινουσα διοτι πλειοτερα ειναι τα τεκνα της ηρημωμενης παρα τα τεκνα της εχουσης τον ανδρα, λεγει Κυριος.

Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes;

Πλατυνον τον τοπον της σκηνης σου και ας εκτεινωσι τα παραπετασματα των κατοικιων σου μη φεισθης μακρυνον τα σχοινια σου και στερεωσον τους πασσαλους σου.

For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.

Διοτι θελεις εκταθη εις τα δεξια και εις τα αριστερα και το σπερμα σου θελει κληρονομησει τα εθνη και θελει καμει τας ηρημωμενας πολεις να κατοικισθωσι.

Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more.

Μη φοβου διοτι δεν θελεις καταισχυνθη μηδε εντρεπου διοτι δεν θελεις αισχυνθη διοτι θελεις λησμονησει την αισχυνην της νεοτητος σου και δεν θελεις ενθυμηθη πλεον το ονειδος της χηρειας σου.

For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.

Διοτι ο ανηρ σου ειναι ο Ποιητης σου το ονομα αυτου ειναι, Ο Κυριος των δυναμεων και ο Λυτρωτης σου ειναι ο Αγιος του Ισραηλ αυτος θελει ονομασθη, Ο Θεος πασης της γης.

For the LORD hath called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy God.

Διοτι ο Κυριος σε εκαλεσεν ως γυναικα εγκαταλελειμμενην και τεθλιμμενην το πνευμα και γυναικα νεοτητος αποβεβλημενην, λεγει ο Θεος σου.

For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee.

Σε εγκατελιπον δια ολιγον καιρον πλην με ελεος μεγα θελω σε περισυναξει.

In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the LORD thy Redeemer.

Εν θυμω μικρω εκρυψα το προσωπον μου απο σου δια μιαν στιγμην με ελεος ομως αιωνιον θελω σε ελεησει, λεγει Κυριος ο Λυτρωτης σου.

For this is as the waters of Noah unto me: for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.

Διοτι τουτο ειναι εις εμε ως τα υδατα του Νωε επειδη, καθως ωμοσα οτι τα υδατα του Νωε δεν θελουσιν επελθει πλεον επι την γην, ουτως ωμοσα οτι δεν θελω θυμωθη πλεον κατα σου ουδε σε ελεγξει.

For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee.

Διοτι τα ορη θελουσι μετατοπισθη και οι λοφοι μετακινηθη πλην το ελεος μου δεν θελει εκλειψει απο σου ουδε η διαθηκη της ειρηνης μου μετακινηθη, λεγει Κυριος ο ελεων σε.

O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted, behold, I will lay thy stones with fair colours, and lay thy foundations with sapphires.

Ω τεθλιμμενη, τεταραγμενη, απαρηγορητος, ιδου, εγω θελω στρωσει τους λιθους σου εκ μαρμαρων πορφυρων και θελω βαλει τα θεμελια σου εκ σαπφειρων.

And I will make thy windows of agates, and thy gates of carbuncles, and all thy borders of pleasant stones.

Και θελω καμει τας επαλξεις σου εξ αχατου και τας πυλας σου εξ ανθρακων και απαντα τον περιβολον σου εκ λιθων εκλεκτων.

And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children.

Παντες δε οι υιοι σου θελουσιν εισθαι διδακτοι του Κυριου, και θελει εισθαι μεγαλη η ειρηνη των υιων σου.

In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.

Εν δικαιοσυνη θελεις στερεωθη μακραν απο της καταδυναστειας θελεις εισθαι, διοτι δεν θελεις φοβεισθαι και απο του τρομου, διοτι δεν θελει σε πλησιασει.

Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.

Ιδου, βεβαιως θελουσι συναχθη ομου εναντιον σου, πλην ουχι δι εμου Οσοι συναχθωσιν ομου εναντιον σου, ενεκα σου, θελουσι πεσει.

Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.

Ιδου, εγω εκαμον τον χαλκεα, οστις φυσα τους ανθρακας εν τω πυρι και εξαγει το εργαλειον δια το εργον αυτου και εγω εκαμον τον πορθητην δια να καταστρεφη.

No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

Ουδεν οπλον κατασκευασθεν εναντιον σου θελει ευοδωθη και πασαν γλωσσαν, ητις ηθελε κινηθη κατα σου, θελεις νικησει εν τη κρισει. Αυτη ειναι η κληρονομια των δουλων του Κυριου και η δικαιοσυνη αυτων ειναι εξ εμου, λεγει ο Κυριος.
