Psalms 136

O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

 Tacken HERREN, ty han är god,      ty hans nåd varar evinnerligen.

O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever.

 Tacken gudarnas Gud,      ty hans nåd varar evinnerligen.

O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever.

 Tacken herrarnas HERRE,      ty hans nåd varar evinnerligen;

To him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for ever.

 honom som allena gör stora under,      ty hans nåd varar evinnerligen;

To him that by wisdom made the heavens: for his mercy endureth for ever.

 honom som har gjort himmelen med förstånd,      ty hans nåd varar evinnerligen;

To him that stretched out the earth above the waters: for his mercy endureth for ever.

 honom som har utbrett jorden över vattnen,      ty hans nåd varar evinnerligen;

To him that made great lights: for his mercy endureth for ever:

 honom som har gjort de stora ljusen,      ty hans nåd varar evinnerligen:

The sun to rule by day: for his mercy endureth for ever:

 solen till att råda över dagen,      ty hans nåd varar evinnerligen,

The moon and stars to rule by night: for his mercy endureth for ever.

 månen och stjärnorna till att råda över natten,      ty hans nåd varar evinnerligen;

To him that smote Egypt in their firstborn: for his mercy endureth for ever:

 honom som slog Egypten i dess förstfödda,      ty hans nåd varar evinnerligen,

And brought out Israel from among them: for his mercy endureth for ever:

 och som förde Israel ut därifrån,      ty hans nåd varar evinnerligen,

With a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm: for his mercy endureth for ever.

 med stark hand och uträckt arm,      ty hans nåd varar evinnerligen;

To him which divided the Red sea into parts: for his mercy endureth for ever:

 honom som delade Röda havet itu,      ty hans nåd varar evinnerligen,

And made Israel to pass through the midst of it: for his mercy endureth for ever:

 och lät Israel gå mitt därigenom,      ty hans nåd varar evinnerligen,

But overthrew Pharaoh and his host in the Red sea: for his mercy endureth for ever.

 och kringströdde Farao och hans här i Röda havet,      ty hans nåd varar evinnerligen;

To him which led his people through the wilderness: for his mercy endureth for ever.

 honom som förde sitt folk genom öknen,      ty hans nåd varar evinnerligen,

To him which smote great kings: for his mercy endureth for ever:

 honom som slog stora konungar,      ty hans nåd varar evinnerligen,

And slew famous kings: for his mercy endureth for ever:

 och dräpte väldiga konungar,      ty hans nåd varar evinnerligen:

Sihon king of the Amorites: for his mercy endureth for ever:

 Sihon, amoréernas konung,      ty hans nåd varar evinnerligen,

And Og the king of Bashan: for his mercy endureth for ever:

 och Og, konungen i Basan,      ty hans nåd varar evinnerligen;

And gave their land for an heritage: for his mercy endureth for ever:

 och som gav deras land till arvedel,      ty hans nåd varar evinnerligen,

Even an heritage unto Israel his servant: for his mercy endureth for ever.

 till arvedel åt sin tjänare Israel,      ty hans nåd varar evinnerligen;

Who remembered us in our low estate: for his mercy endureth for ever:

 honom som tänkte på oss i vår förnedring,      ty hans nåd varar evinnerligen,

And hath redeemed us from our enemies: for his mercy endureth for ever.

 och som ryckte oss ur våra ovänners våld,      ty hans nåd varar evinnerligen;

Who giveth food to all flesh: for his mercy endureth for ever.

 honom som giver mat åt allt levande,      ty hans nåd varar evinnerligen.

O give thanks unto the God of heaven: for his mercy endureth for ever.

 Tacken himmelens Gud,      ty hans nåd varar evinnerligen.
