I Chronicles 6

The sons of Levi; Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.

Levis söner voro Gerson, Kehat och Merari.1 Mos. 46,11. 2 Mos. 6,16 f. 4 Mos. 26,57 f. 1 Krön. 23,6 f

And the sons of Kohath; Amram, Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel.

Kehats söner voro Amram, Jishar, Hebron och Ussiel.

And the children of Amram; Aaron, and Moses, and Miriam. The sons also of Aaron; Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

Amrams barn voro Aron, Mose och Mirjam. Arons söner voro Nadab och Abihu, Eleasar och Itamar.2 Mos. 2,1 f. 4 Mos. 3,2.

Eleazar begat Phinehas, Phinehas begat Abishua,

Eleasar födde Pinehas, Pinehas födde Abisua.

And Abishua begat Bukki, and Bukki begat Uzzi,

Abisua födde Bucki, och Bucki födde Ussi.

And Uzzi begat Zerahiah, and Zerahiah begat Meraioth,

Ussi födde Seraja, och Seraja födde Merajot.

Meraioth begat Amariah, and Amariah begat Ahitub,

Merajot födde Amarja, och Amarja födde Ahitub.

And Ahitub begat Zadok, and Zadok begat Ahimaaz,

Ahitub födde Sadok, och Sadok födde Ahimaas.2 Sam. 8,17. 15,27

And Ahimaaz begat Azariah, and Azariah begat Johanan,

Ahimaas födde Asarja, och Asarja födde Johanan.

And Johanan begat Azariah, (he it is that executed the priest's office in the temple that Solomon built in Jerusalem:)

Johanan födde Asarja; det var han som var präst i det tempel som Salomo byggde i Jerusalem.

And Azariah begat Amariah, and Amariah begat Ahitub,

Asarja födde Amarja, och Amarja födde Ahitub.

And Ahitub begat Zadok, and Zadok begat Shallum,

Ahitub födde Sadok, och Sadok födde Sallum.

And Shallum begat Hilkiah, and Hilkiah begat Azariah,

Sallum födde Hilkia, och Hilkia födde Asarja.2 Kon. 22,4.

And Azariah begat Seraiah, and Seraiah begat Jehozadak,

Asarja födde Seraja, och Seraja födde Josadak.

And Jehozadak went into captivity, when the LORD carried away Judah and Jerusalem by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar.

Men Josadak måste gå med i fångenskap, när HERREN lät Juda och Jerusalem föras bort genom Nebukadnessar.2 Kon. 25,1 f.

The sons of Levi; Gershom, Kohath, and Merari.

Levis söner voro Gersom, Kehat och Merari.4 Mos. 3,16 f.

And these be the names of the sons of Gershom; Libni, and Shimei.

Och dessa voro namnen på Gersoms söner: Libni och Simei.

And the sons of Kohath were, Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel.

Och Kehats söner voro Amram, Jishar, Hebron och Ussiel.

The sons of Merari; Mahli, and Mushi. And these are the families of the Levites according to their fathers.

Meraris söner voro Maheli och Musi. Dessa voro leviternas släkter, efter deras fäder.

Of Gershom; Libni his son, Jahath his son, Zimmah his son,

Från Gersom härstammade hans son Libni, dennes son Jahat, dennes son Simma,

Joah his son, Iddo his son, Zerah his son, Jeaterai his son.

dennes son Joa, dennes son Iddo, dennes son Sera, dennes son Jeaterai.

The sons of Kohath; Amminadab his son, Korah his son, Assir his son,

Kehats söner voro hans son Amminadab, dennes son Kora, dennes son Assir,

Elkanah his son, and Ebiasaph his son, and Assir his son,

dennes son Elkana, dennes son Ebjasaf, dennes son Assir,

Tahath his son, Uriel his son, Uzziah his son, and Shaul his son.

dennes son Tahat, dennes son Uriel, dennes son Ussia och dennes son Saul.

And the sons of Elkanah; Amasai, and Ahimoth.

Elkanas söner voro Amasai och Ahimot.

As for Elkanah: the sons of Elkanah; Zophai his son, and Nahath his son,

Hans son var Elkana; hans son var Elkana-Sofai; hans son var Nahat.

Eliab his son, Jeroham his son, Elkanah his son.

Hans son var Eliab; hans son var Jeroham; hans son var Elkana.1 Sam. 1,1.

And the sons of Samuel; the firstborn Vashni, and Abiah.

Och Samuels söner voro Vasni, den förstfödde, och Abia.1 Sam. 8,2.

The sons of Merari; Mahli, Libni his son, Shimei his son, Uzza his son,

Meraris söner voro Maheli, dennes son Libni, dennes son Simei, dennes son Ussa,

Shimea his son, Haggiah his son, Asaiah his son.

dennes son Simea, dennes son Haggia, dennes son Asaja.

And these are they whom David set over the service of song in the house of the LORD, after that the ark had rest.

Och dessa voro de som David anställde för att ombesörja sången i HERRENS hus, sedan arken hade fått en vilostad.

And they ministered before the dwelling place of the tabernacle of the congregation with singing, until Solomon had built the house of the LORD in Jerusalem: and then they waited on their office according to their order.

And these are they that waited with their children. Of the sons of the Kohathites: Heman a singer, the son of Joel, the son of Shemuel,

The son of Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Eliel, the son of Toah,

son till Elkana, son till Jeroham, son till Eliel, son till Toa,

The son of Zuph, the son of Elkanah, the son of Mahath, the son of Amasai,

son till Sif, son till Elkana, son till Mahat, son till Amasai,

The son of Elkanah, the son of Joel, the son of Azariah, the son of Zephaniah,

son till Elkana, son till Joel, son till Asarja, son till Sefanja,

The son of Tahath, the son of Assir, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah,

son till Tahat, son till Assir, son till Ebjasaf, son till Kora,

The son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, the son of Israel.

son till Jishar, son till Kehat, son till Levi, son till Israel;

And his brother Asaph, who stood on his right hand, even Asaph the son of Berachiah, the son of Shimea,

The son of Michael, the son of Baaseiah, the son of Malchiah,

The son of Ethan, the son of Zimmah, the son of Shimei,

son till Etan, son till Simma, son till Simei,

The son of Jahath, the son of Gershom, the son of Levi.

son till Jahat, son till Gersom, son till Levi.

And their brethren the sons of Merari stood on the left hand: Ethan the son of Kishi, the son of Abdi, the son of Malluch,

The son of Hashabiah, the son of Amaziah, the son of Hilkiah,

son till Hasabja, son till Amasja, son till Hilkia,

The son of Amzi, the son of Bani, the son of Shamer,

son till Amsi, son till Bani, son till Semer,

The son of Mahli, the son of Mushi, the son of Merari, the son of Levi.

son till Maheli, son till Musi, son till Merari, son till Levi.

Their brethren also the Levites were appointed unto all manner of service of the tabernacle of the house of God.

Och deras bröder, de övriga leviterna, hade blivit givna till allt slags tjänstgöring vid tabernaklet, Guds hus.

But Aaron and his sons offered upon the altar of the burnt offering, and on the altar of incense, and were appointed for all the work of the place most holy, and to make an atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses the servant of God had commanded.

Men Aron och hans söner ombesörjde offren på brännoffersaltaret och på rökelsealtaret, och skulle utföra all förrättning i det allraheligaste och bringa försoning för Israel, alldeles såsom Mose, Guds tjänare, hade bjudit.2 Mos. 30,7 f. 4 Mos. 4,16.

And these are the sons of Aaron; Eleazar his son, Phinehas his son, Abishua his son,

Och dessa voro Arons söner: hans son Eleasar, dennes son Pinehas, dennes son Abisua,

Bukki his son, Uzzi his son, Zerahiah his son,

dennes son Bucki, dennes son Ussi, dennes son Seraja,

Meraioth his son, Amariah his son, Ahitub his son,

dennes son Merajot, dennes son Amarja, dennes son Ahitub,

Zadok his son, Ahimaaz his son.

dennes son Sadok, dennes son Ahimaas.

Now these are their dwelling places throughout their castles in their coasts, of the sons of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathites: for theirs was the lot.

Och dessa voro deras boningsorter, efter deras tältläger inom deras område: Åt Arons söner av kehatiternas släkt -- ty dem träffade nu lotten --Jos. 21,9 f.

And they gave them Hebron in the land of Judah, and the suburbs thereof round about it.

åt dem gav man Hebron i Juda land med dess utmarker runt omkring.

But the fields of the city, and the villages thereof, they gave to Caleb the son of Jephunneh.

Men åkerjorden och byarna som hörde till staden gav man åt Kaleb, Jefunnes son.

And to the sons of Aaron they gave the cities of Judah, namely, Hebron, the city of refuge, and Libnah with her suburbs, and Jattir, and Eshtemoa, with their suburbs,

Åt Arons söner gav man alltså fristäderna Hebron och Libna med dess utmarker, vidare Jattir och Estemoa med dess utmarker.5 Mos. 19,1 f.

And Hilen with her suburbs, Debir with her suburbs,

Hilen med dess utmarker, Debir med dess utmarker,

And Ashan with her suburbs, and Beth–shemesh with her suburbs:

Asan med dess utmarker och Bet-Semes med dess utmarker;

And out of the tribe of Benjamin; Geba with her suburbs, and Alemeth with her suburbs, and Anathoth with her suburbs. All their cities throughout their families were thirteen cities.

och ur Benjamins stam Geba med dess utmarker, Alemet med dess utmarker och Anatot med dess utmarker, så att deras städer tillsammans utgjorde tretton städer, efter deras släkter.

And unto the sons of Kohath, which were left of the family of that tribe, were cities given out of the half tribe, namely, out of the half tribe of Manasseh, by lot, ten cities.

Och Kehats övriga barn fingo ur en stamsläkt, nämligen den stamhalva som utgjorde ena hälften av Manasse stam, genom lottkastning tio städer.

And to the sons of Gershom throughout their families out of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities.

Gersoms barn åter fingo, efter sina släkter, ur Isaskars stam, ur Asers stam, ur Naftali stam och ur Manasse stam i Basan tretton städer.

Unto the sons of Merari were given by lot, throughout their families, out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.

Meraris barn fingo, efter sina släkter, ur Rubens stam, ur Gads stam och ur Sebulons stam genom lottkastning tolv städer.

And the children of Israel gave to the Levites these cities with their suburbs.

Så gåvo Israels barn åt leviterna dessa städer med deras utmarker.

And they gave by lot out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, and out of the tribe of the children of Benjamin, these cities, which are called by their names.

Genom lottkastning gåvo de åt dem ur Juda barns stam, ur Simeons barns stam och ur Benjamins barns stam dessa städer, som de namngåvo.

And the residue of the families of the sons of Kohath had cities of their coasts out of the tribe of Ephraim.

Och bland Kehats barns släkter fingo några följande städer ur Efraims stam såsom sitt område:Jos. 21,20 f.

And they gave unto them, of the cities of refuge, Shechem in mount Ephraim with her suburbs; they gave also Gezer with her suburbs,

Man gav dem fristäderna Sikem med dess utmarker i Efraims bergsbygd, Geser med dess utmarker,

And Jokmeam with her suburbs, and Beth–horon with her suburbs,

Jokmeam med dess utmarker, Bet-Horon med dess utmarker;

And Aijalon with her suburbs, and Gath–rimmon with her suburbs:

vidare Ajalon med dess utmarker och Gat-Rimmon med dess utmarker;

And out of the half tribe of Manasseh; Aner with her suburbs, and Bileam with her suburbs, for the family of the remnant of the sons of Kohath.

och ur ena hälften av Manasse stam Aner med dess utmarker och Bileam med dess utmarker. Detta tillföll Kehats övriga barns släkt.

Unto the sons of Gershom were given out of the family of the half tribe of Manasseh, Golan in Bashan with her suburbs, and Ashtaroth with her suburbs:

Gersoms barn fingo ur den släkt som utgjorde ena hälften av Manasse stam Golan i Basan med dess utmarker och Astarot med dess utmarker;Jos. 21,27 f.

And out of the tribe of Issachar; Kedesh with her suburbs, Daberath with her suburbs,

och ur Isaskars stam Kedes med dess utmarker, Dobrat med dess utmarker,

And Ramoth with her suburbs, and Anem with her suburbs:

Ramot med dess utmarker och Anem med dess utmarker;

And out of the tribe of Asher; Mashal with her suburbs, and Abdon with her suburbs,

och ur Asers stam Masal med dess utmarker, Abdon med dess utmarker,

And Hukok with her suburbs, and Rehob with her suburbs:

Hukok med dess utmarker och Rehob med dess utmarker;

And out of the tribe of Naphtali; Kedesh in Galilee with her suburbs, and Hammon with her suburbs, and Kirjathaim with her suburbs.

och ur Naftali stam Kedes i Galileen med dess utmarker, Hammon med dess utmarker och Kirjataim med dess utmarker.

Unto the rest of the children of Merari were given out of the tribe of Zebulun, Rimmon with her suburbs, Tabor with her suburbs:

Meraris övriga barn fingo ur Sebulons stam Rimmono med dess utmarker och Tabor med dess utmarker,Jos. 21,34 f.

And on the other side Jordan by Jericho, on the east side of Jordan, were given them out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer in the wilderness with her suburbs, and Jahzah with her suburbs,

och på andra sidan Jordan mitt emot Jeriko, öster om Jordan, ur Rubens stam Beser i öknen med dess utmarker, Jahas med dess utmarker,

Kedemoth also with her suburbs, and Mephaath with her suburbs:

Kedemot med dess utmarker och Mefaat med dess utmarker;

And out of the tribe of Gad; Ramoth in Gilead with her suburbs, and Mahanaim with her suburbs,

och ur Gads stam Ramot i Gilead med dess utmarker, Mahanaim med dess utmarker,

And Heshbon with her suburbs, and Jazer with her suburbs.

Hesbon med dess utmarker och Jaeser med dess utmarker.
