Psalms 77

I cried unto God with my voice, even unto God with my voice; and he gave ear unto me.

Levanto a Deus a minha voz; a Deus levanto a minha voz, para que ele me ouça.

In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord: my sore ran in the night, and ceased not: my soul refused to be comforted.

No dia da minha angústia busco ao Senhor; de noite a minha mão fica estendida e não se cansa; a minha alma recusa ser consolada.

I remembered God, and was troubled: I complained, and my spirit was overwhelmed. Selah.

Lembro-me de Deus, e me lamento; queixo-me, e o meu espírito desfalece.

Thou holdest mine eyes waking: I am so troubled that I cannot speak.

Conservas vigilantes os meus olhos; estou tão perturbado que não posso falar.

I have considered the days of old, the years of ancient times.

Considero os dias da antiguidade, os anos dos tempos passados.

I call to remembrance my song in the night: I commune with mine own heart: and my spirit made diligent search.

De noite lembro-me do meu cântico; consulto com o meu coração, e examino o meu espírito.

Will the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be favourable no more?

Rejeitará o Senhor para sempre e não tornará a ser favorável?

Is his mercy clean gone for ever? doth his promise fail for evermore?

Cessou para sempre a sua benignidade? Acabou-se a sua promessa para todas as gerações

Hath God forgotten to be gracious? hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies? Selah.

Esqueceu-se Deus de ser compassivo? Ou na sua ira encerrou ele as suas ternas misericórdias?

And I said, This is my infirmity: but I will remember the years of the right hand of the most High.

E eu digo: Isto é minha enfermidade; acaso se mudou a destra do Altíssimo?

I will remember the works of the LORD: surely I will remember thy wonders of old.

Recordarei os feitos do Senhor; sim, me lembrarei das tuas maravilhas da antiguidade.

I will meditate also of all thy work, and talk of thy doings.

Meditarei também em todas as tuas obras, e ponderarei os teus feitos poderosos

Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary: who is so great a God as our God?

O teu caminho, ó Deus, é em santidade; que deus é grande como o nosso Deus?

Thou art the God that doest wonders: thou hast declared thy strength among the people.

Tu és o Deus que fazes maravilhas; tu tens feito notória a tua força entre os povos.

Thou hast with thine arm redeemed thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.

Com o teu braço remiste o teu povo, os filhos de Jacó e de José.

The waters saw thee, O God, the waters saw thee; they were afraid: the depths also were troubled.

As águas te viram, ó Deus, as águas te viram, e tremeram; os abismos também se abalaram.

The clouds poured out water: the skies sent out a sound: thine arrows also went abroad.

As nuvens desfizeram-se em água; os céus retumbaram; as tuas flechas também correram de uma para outra parte.

The voice of thy thunder was in the heaven: the lightnings lightened the world: the earth trembled and shook.

A voz do teu trovão estava no redemoinho; os relâmpagos alumiaram o mundo; a terra se abalou e tremeu.

Thy way is in the sea, and thy path in the great waters, and thy footsteps are not known.

Pelo mar foi teu caminho, e tuas veredas pelas grandes águas; e as tuas pegadas não foram conhecidas.

Thou leddest thy people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.

Guiaste o teu povo, como a um rebanho, pela mão de Moisés e de Arão.
