Psalms 50

The mighty God, even the LORD, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.

Psalm Asafowi podany. Bóg nad Bogami, Pan mówił i przyzwał ziemię od wschodu słońca aż do zachodu jego.

Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined.

Objaśnił się Bóg z Syonu w doskonałej ozdobie.

Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.

Przyjdzie Bóg nasz, a nie będzie milczał; ogień przed twarzą jego będzie pożerał, a około niego powstanie wicher gwałtowny.

He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people.

Przyzwie z góry niebiosa i ziemię, aby sądził lud swój.

Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.

Mówiąc: Zgromadźcie mi świętych moich, którzy ze mną uczynili przymierze przy ofierze.

And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge himself. Selah.

Tedy niebiosa opowiedzą sprawiedliwość jego; albowiem sam Bóg jest sędzią. Sela.

Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee: I am God, even thy God.

Słuchaj, ludu mój! a będę mówił; słuchaj, Izraelu! a oświadczę się przed tobą: Jam Bóg, Bóg twój Jam jest.

I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices or thy burnt offerings, to have been continually before me.

Nie będę cię z ofiar twoich winił, ani całopalenia twego, które są zawsze przedemną.

I will take no bullock out of thy house, nor he goats out of thy folds.

Nie wezmę z domu twojego cielca, ani z okołu twego kozłów.

For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills.

Albowiem mój jest wszelki zwierz leśny, i tysiące bydła po górach.

I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine.

Znam wszystko ptastwo po górach, i zwierz polny jest przedemną.

If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof.

Będęli łaknął, nie rzekęć o to; bo mój jest okrąg ziemi, i napełnienie jego.

Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?

Izali jadam mięso wołowe? albo pijam krew kozłową?

Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High:

Ofiaruj Bogu chwałę, i oddaj Najwyższemu śluby twoje;

And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

A wzywaj mię w dzień utrapienia: tedy cię wyrwę, a ty mię uwielbisz.

But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth?

Lecz niezbożnemu rzekł Bóg: Cóżci do tego, że opowiadasz ustawy moje, a bieżesz przymierze moje w usta twoje?

Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest my words behind thee.

Ponieważ masz w nienawiści karność, i zarzuciłeś słowa moje za się.

When thou sawest a thief, then thou consentedst with him, and hast been partaker with adulterers.

Widziszli złodzieja, bieżysz z nim, a z cudzołożnikami masz skład twój.

Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit.

Usta twoje rozpuszczasz na złe, a język twój składa zdrady.

Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother's son.

Zasiadłszy mówisz przeciwko bratu twemu, a lżysz syna matki twojej.

These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes.

Toś czynił, a Jam milczał; dlategoś mniemał, żem ja tobie podobny, ale będę cię karał, i stawięć to przed oczy twoje.

Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver.

Zrozumiejcież to wżdy teraz, którzy zapominacie Boga, bym was snać nie porwał, a nie będzie ktoby was wyrwał.

Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.

Kto mi ofiaruje chwałę, uczci mię; a temu, który naprawia drogę swą, ukażę zbawienie Boże.
